Oscar-nominated actress Carey Mulligan is reportedly lonely after moving to the US.
The 24-year-old has moved in with her American actor boyfriend Shia LaBeouf, 23, who lives in America, and she is reportedly homesick after leaving friends and family behind in Britain.
A pal said to UK Newspaper The Mail on Sunday: “Carey is lonely, the move has been hard on her and she has found herself taking second place for the entire awards season.”
Mulligan has already split with the Transformers actor once before and she is reportedly doubting their union once again.
The friend added: “Carey is having doubts again. She has been working hard and so has Shia. They only ever get a couple of days a week to spend together. Now Carey is feeling restless once more.”
Model Gisele Bündchen has revealed that she “felt like ET” after giving birth to her son, according to reports.
Bündchen, 29, gave birth to son Benjamin in December and said that she “gained only 30lbs” during the pregnancy.
But the Brazilian supermodel admitted that she had a shock when she recently returned to modelling and had to pose for one of her clients.
She said to Vogue magazine: “I got to the studio and I felt like I was ET – whoa, what’s going on? Hair and make-up? I hadn’t looked at myself in a mirror for a month-and-a-half.”
She added: “I’d been in my house, in a cocoon with my kids, my husband, my dogs. Usually, as I walk through the door into that atmosphere, I already feel different.”
Charlie Sheen will return to Two And A Half Men next week, his publicist said.
Sheen reportedly underwent rehab and is in the “process of exiting” the facility, according to ABC Australia.
Sheen’s life unravelled after an alleged domestic violence outbreak last Christmas involving his wife Brooke Mueller in Aspen Colorado. He faces a court date in Aspen on Monday to answer felony charges arising from the Christmas Day arrest.
The San Francisco Chronicle reports Sheen publicist Stan Rosenfield said: “He returns to the show for the March 19 taping.”
Speculation about the effect of a hiatus on the CBS hit show followed the announcement Sheen was starting rehab on February 23. However, one report notes the hiatus will have lasted only three weeks in a month that has a built-in one-week hiatus for cast and crew.
Mischa Barton put her Hollywood home up for sale, RadarOnline reports.
Barton has reportedly listed a lovely Beverly Hills home for $8.4million, the website says.
The Tuscan-style pad is smack bang in the middle of Tinsel Town, located in an exclusive private, gated community just minutes from Sunset Strip and Rodeo Drive.
Barton was recently reported being sued by her New York landlord over alleged non-payment of rent on a Tribeca $7000-a-month apartment. She has been swinging between coasts and projects, apparently lacking direction – and a job.
The Beverly Hills home features a family style kitchen, ascending staircase, six bedrooms, media room, canyon views, swimming pool and spa. Last year, police were summoned to the home when she suffered a meltdown that led to her admission to a psychiatric ward in a local hospital. Her subsequent stint in New York for The Beautiful Life was soured when the show was abruptly cancelled.
Lily Allen still swears that she’s going to retire from music and there may be a little help to keep her to her word as the train wreck of a singer has just signed on for a new reality series that will document her transition from being a singer to a shopkeeper. Once she’s done with singing, Lily wants to open a designer “clothes-hire” store with her sister called Lucy in Disguise as well as launch her own record label. A source said “Lily was approached about the TV show and thought it would help promote her new ventures as well as letting people get to know her a bit better.”
Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian are teaming up to endorse new skincare brand PerfectSkin.
The three sisters are getting behind the brand after discovering it was difficult to find the right skincare product.
Kim wrote on her blog: “Kourt, Khloe and I have a big announcement to make! We are so excited to tell you guys that we’re partnering up with PerfectSkin.
“Like most girls we’ve tried an endless number of skin products over the years and with so many products on the market it’s so difficult to find one you like and can stick with.
“But PerfectSkin products have really worked for us and they are the only skincare products I use now.”
Twilight fans got a tantalising glimpse of the much-anticipated next movie in the vampire saga, Eclipse, with a 10-second preview of the official trailer ahead of its release tomorrow.
The third film in the hit film series, which stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and a shirtless Taylor Lautner, explores the love triangle between Edward (Pattinson), Bella (Stewart) and werewolf Jacob (Lautner), and sees the werewolf pack and the Cullen family join forces to fight a new breed of evil vampires.
The 10-second preview of the trailer was made available online today, while the full trailer is expected to be released by Summit Entertainment tomorrow.
Eclipse is scheduled to hit cinemas in July.

Star of the highest-grossing film in history, Sam Worthington disappointed with his Oscars presenting gig on Sunday night.
Avatar’s Worthington made a very ordinary addition to poised superstar Jennifer Lopez who exuded sequins, class and manners. He chewed gum and was not so recognisable either, in black thick-rimmed spectacles. The Daily Telegraph in Australia claimed Worthington “left many cold”.
But the paper noted he managed to make a “dashing” red carpet appearance with his girlfriend Natalie Mark. When he was asked what he was wearing Worthington said: “Payless shoes and a friggin’ kick-arse suit.”
The newspaper noted Worthington’s response to the suit designer question. “Some bloke” was the response. Brioni was the answer.
The singer recently admitted to the fact that she is a very big fan of the transgender community. Probably to the surprise of many, Kesha is such an admirer of these fellows because they are so much better at being women than she is. This is what she said on the matter: “I am a huge fan of the transgender community. I am so not a proper, good female. I can’t dance in high heels and I’m just so not girly, but then I see these men with these banging bodies, dancing in heels, singing, and having so much fun with so much makeup on. That makes me honestly want to be a better woman. It is so fascinating that someone can commit their whole entire lifestyle to being such a fantastic woman when I’m such a bum about it.” It’s good to see Kesha finally finding someone who can inspire her to better herself. Truly, the singer is lost no more.
Cherie Currie recently talked to Spin magazine to talk about what she thought when she saw the movie ‘The Runaways’, which is about her band with Joan Jett back in the 70s. The iconic rock star said “I was stunned. When you live something, your first reaction is to say, ‘Well, that’s not right’ or “Wait a minute, it didn’t happen that way.’ Then Joan and I saw it again and thought, ‘Wow, this is really good.’ It takes time for it to sink in. I thought the performances were just incredible.” I wonder what she felt when she heard Kristen Stewart’s and Dakota Fanning’s renditions of some of their songs.
Former supermodel Kathy Ireland denied she was under the influence of alcohol while she interviewed celebrities in the lead-up to the 82nd Academy Awards.
The New York Daily News claims Ireland “served up some seriously stiff” interviews from the red carpet. She reportedly shocked viewers as she awkwardly welcomed Precious star and best actress nominee Gabourey Sidibe and Zac Efron.
Ireland was reportedly branded a “hot mess” on Twitter, while some Twitterers claimed she was in the running for an award for “best use of medication”.
Ireland, 46, took to Twitter herself to respond. One of her tweets ran: “No Red Bull or chemicals…just J.O.Y.!”
In a friendly tone, she added: “So many mis understood that the J.O.Y. was being invited 2 co host. Grateful to all.”
Tim Burton might be in charge of movie takes on Alice in Wonderland, but Helena Bonham Carter calls the shots at home.
The Alice star said: “At home I’m the boss – he calls me ‘chief’ and I would say on the whole he likes me to make the decisions. He’s not a mad professor type. His time management is good. He is financially responsible. A part of him maybe exists in an alternative reality but he is a very sane and grounded good father.”
Burton, whose 3-D fantasy film starring Johnny Depp has taken London by storm, is the father of Bonham Carter’s two children. The actress admitted things can get contentious on set. “At work is where we sometimes get it wrong. He’s the boss and I’m not as silent as he’d like me to be.”
Zoe Saldana bamboozled interviewers as she calls her dress the ”embodiment of everything I’ve been through”.
The Avatar actress wasn’t nominated for an Oscar but clearly deserved a gong for talking up her dress.
She said: “It’s yards and yards of fabric. It’s the dress that the moment my stylist and I saw it we immediately fell in love with it. It fits everything I’ve been through leading up to tonight and my whole experience in Avatar. It embodies everything that I’ve been through. It’s big and it’s colourful and shimmery. That’s exactly what Avatar did.”
Kathryn Bigelow has scored a double triumph over ex-husband James Cameron and his blockbuster movie Avatar at the Oscars, with The Hurt Locker winning her best director and best picture.
Bigelow became the first female director to win an Academy Award.
Cameron was seated behind his former spouse, with whom he is on friendly terms, and stood to applaud as she was announced best director.
He smiled and appeared to say: “Yes, oh yes!” before the cameras cut away.
Bigelow said: “This really is – there’s no other way to describe it – it is the moment of a lifetime. This is so extraordinary to be in the company of my fellow nominees, such powerful film-makers who have inspired me and I have admired some of them for decades.”
There were few surprises in the main categories on Hollywood’s biggest night.
Hot favourite Jeff Bridges won best actor for Crazy Heart. The Blind Side’s Sandra Bullock was named best actress, as widely predicted. Mo’Nique won best supporting actress for Precious, with Inglourious Basterds star Christoph Waltz best supporting actor.
It looks like the singer really liked working on her latest movie, “The Last Song”, with her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. This is what Miley Cyrus related on the matter: “Working with Liam was a lot of fun because this is something new for both of us. It’s cool being able to share that with somebody. This is his breakout moment in the States and this is my breakout moment away from what people know me as.” Yeah, her new character must sure be a lot more different from Hannah Montana. And working with her boyfriend probably helped Miley Cyrus to make the character a lot more real than expected. She’ll probably be dropping the music career for a bit seeing as how she’s probably found a brand new vocation.
Alice In Wonderland director Tim Burton said he almost never made the movie.
The filmmaker, who has previously worked on flicks such as Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride, is behind the new movie starring Johnny Depp and Burton’s wife Helena Bonham Carter.
The movie is more of a sequel than a remake and follows Alice’s return to Wonderland when she’s a teenager.
He said: “A few years ago, I don’t know if I would’ve been as intrigued [by the story]. There’s 20-something versions and I’ve never really connected to any of them.”
However, it was the chance to make a 3D version of the tale than finally made him agree to it.
He said: “The way the characters and images have infiltrated culture is so strong, I thought it was an interesting challenge.”
As Billy Baldwin was filming ‘Gossip Girl’ last weekend, the actor received some rather alarming news. His wife Chynna Phillips had filed for a divorce. But before he could get too upset over it, the former singer recanted and asked her lawyers to withdraw the divorce filing. According to sources, Chynna is still dealing with some emotional buildup and that the divorce filing was completely rash on her part. The source says that immediately after filing the papers, Chynna “realized she didn’t want to lose Billy and asked her lawyers to withdraw it.” I guess her stint in rehab for anxiety didn’t help at all.

Australia’s Courier-Mail reports a seismic shift in the publishing world is toppling Hollywood celebs off the covers of the world’s leading fashion mags.
Vogue Australia editor Kirstie Clements said: “Those celebrity covers are so ubiquitous nowadays and they don’t really have the same sales drive that they used to. Also, they are so tied up with their own deals, endorsements and products that it’s all become a bit farcical and you can’t get them to go on that fashion journey with you like you can with a supermodel.”
Magazine sales are falling and models are on the rise, the newspaper says. In addition, Australia has a clutch of hot new young supermodels to pack a glossy punch.
“With the growth of the celebrity culture you know so much about stars’ lives and they are not regarded as a blank canvas, whereas models still have a degree of anonymity and mystery surrounding them,” says Catherine McNeil, a model who features in Paris Vogue, Vogue Australia, V magazine and Numero.
Jessica Hart, who clinched an H&M deal, said: “The pendulum has swung back to appreciating models. I just think it’s a refreshing change … the other good thing about Australians is that there is not one specific look … we are all different.”
Elyse Taylor, a favourite on Australian Vogue covers, said: “Today’s supermodels have to work really hard to get every job but, from a personality point of view, they don’t have to conform to a certain stereotype. Today supermodels are applauded for individuality. Fortunately, I think editors are now starting to realise that readers can relate to models and are deciding to put us back on the covers.”

The British train wreck of a singer said “just clearing a couple of things up. Courtney Love and I did NOT have a bust up at the NME’S. There was an exchange of words, yes. she’s upset because she has got it into her head that i put a lock on some dresses for the brit awards. she’s made no secret of this and when i saw her at the NME’S she tried to talk to me and i told her to shut up stop spreading stupid rumours about me. and thats pretty much it. i would never fight with her , as a rule i don’t pick on crazy old ladies.”
