USA Just Says No to Lily Allen

Lily Allen’s not smiling about being placed on the no-fly list. The British pop brat has been forced to postpone her U.S. tour and pull out of performing at the MTV Video Music Awards due to problems with her American work visa. Yes the American visa agencies have done the right thing in preventing a person with a violent past record from entering the country. As for work she can find it elsewhere and why only it is North America that everyone wants to invade for earning their bread. We must protect our borders, it’s obvious that she want to work here and American jobs, get out money. AMERICA has already lost thousands of jobs to other developing markets – India has taken a huge chunk of software jobs and China has eroded the manufacturing industry. Isn’t there work for her in the European Union and in the rapidly developing countries of Asia? I say this is food for thought. She will though have to miss out on the opportunity to perform at next month’s MTV VMA.
