One of the most exciting parts of the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards is the dumping of their signature green slime on celebs.  Miley Cyrus begged not to have the goo poured on her as she accepted her award.

Miley was presented with the awards for Favorite Female Singer and Favorite TV Actress.  She told the crowd, “I don’t want to get slimed but I am glad to be here.”  So, instead, the stuff was dumped on Harrison Ford, who presented the award for Favorite Voice for an Animated Movie.  He joined a list of slimed celebs which includes Justin Timberlake, Nicole Kidman, and Johnny Depp.

Also slimed Saturday night was Jack Black and Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando Bloom.

It looks like there Ain’t No Other Man in Christina Aguilera´s life apart from her son Max.

The singer has ditched her Dirrty image and gone Back To Basics by covering up her cleavage and sporting a heart pendant with the inscription Super Maman - the French word for mother - on it.

New parents Xtina and hubby Jordan Bratman were snapped leaving the Villa Lounge after an evening out in LA.

Baby Max was born back in January, just one day after fellow A-lister Nicole Richie welcomed daughter Harlow Winter into the world.

Former boy band member JC Chasez has gone on the record to refute the rumors that he’s gay and that he and ‘Gossip Girl’ star Chace Crawford are dating. The musician told Kiss FM 104.7 that “For the record, we’re both straight. We’re not dating. Let’s clear that up real quickly and the thing is, we don’t even get to hang out that much. We are friends, absolutely, the guy is a super nice guy and he’s a friend of mine but you know the only time people would usually see us together is in some type of photograph so they just assume that it’s like that.” He also adds that the gay rumors are absolutely ridiculous.

It seems that John Mayer is having trouble with his iPod. The musician recently posted a blog about his gadget freezing and other random thoughts about the brand that he loves so much, Apple. The singer is a huge fan of anything that’s related to Mac. He even played at the keynote address for the company last year. Anyway, John’s iPod went on the fritz so he decided to tell the company about it saying “I’ve been wondering what would happen if I did file a report, and it is out of sheer curiosity that I decided to click on the blue button instead of the white one.”

Ashley Tisdale had a nose job back in November to fix a deviated septum. Now she’s being accused of having more plastic surgery.

She says, “People are saying I had another nose job and I did not. That’s ridiculous. I as away in New Zealand filming a movie and so people think I went away to have more work done. But I didn’t.”

Ashley goes on, “Tabloids have doctors talk about what they think I did with my surgery, but they did not examine me. They don’t know what I have inside my nose.”

Her rep also comments, saying, “It’s very irresponsible for a medical professional to comment on someone whom they have not examined.

The X Factor star, 55, looks far younger after $240,000 of stomach stapling, bum and facelifts, liposuction and a boob job.

She was voted the Queen of Nip/Tuck in a poll of 3,000 women for telly’s FX Channel.

Prime Suspect actress Helen Mirren, 62 — rumoured to have had a subtle facelift — was second.

A spokesman for FX, makers of TV show Nip/Tuck, said: “Both look fantastic.”

Kerry Katone has warned hubby that she will divorce him if a lie detector test proves that rumours are true – that he has been cheating on her.

The former Atomic Kitten star will this week make Mark Croft take a polygraph test after allegations that he has had affairs with two women.

If he refuses to take it, or fails it, she has told him their 13-year marriage is over.

A source close to the couple confirmed: “If Mark’s not telling the truth, he’s out.”

The crunch came last week after she apparently found a text on his mobile from a mystery woman saying I Love You. She was so upset she checked into The Priory for three days.

The couple are currently starring in fly-on-the-wall TV series Crazy In Love. But Kerry has no intention of letting makers MTV film the test—indicating her bid to discover the truth about Croft’s flings is no stunt.

Troubled Britney Spears’ family are to force her to quit LA and return to Louisiana.

Her dad Jamie Spears, who was recently granted control of her affairs, plans to take her back to the family home away from “bad influences”. He will file a court request to get Britney, 26, away from the clubs, drugs, and cheating ex-lover Adnan Ghalib.

A Spears family source said: “Britney has been feeling lonely and isolated since her dad has taken control of her life. He hopes to take her back to Louisiana where she will be surrounded by her family. Jamie also hopes it will give her the chance to mend her troubled relationship with her mum and her more recent rift with her pregnant sister. And he hopes to keep her away from the negative LA scene and people who’ve been using her.”

In recent weeks the star has made a good recovery. She has remained off drugs and has been working on her next music video. But her affairs will still be run by her dad and she is unable to see former manager Sam Lufti who has been issued with a restraining order.

Britney still faces a driving without a licence charge in LA after being nabbed last August.

Pete Wentz loves wearing Jessica Simpson’s shoes.

The Fall Out Boy rocker - who is dating Jessica’s younger sister Ashlee - thinks the ‘Irresistible’ singer’s US women’s footwear range is fantastic, and enjoys dancing in the heels in private.

He said: “I love Jessica Simpson’s stuff, especially the shoes. I dance around my house in them all the time.” Pete, 28, also said he wishes men’s fashion took more risks, and is envious of the clothing available to women. He added: “I don’t know if I would really consider myself fashionable, but I think that fashion is kind of an awesome way to project who you are inside, and I really, really like going to fashion shows, and I really like women’s fashion. I wish men’s fashion had more risk-taking going on.”

Pete has been dating 23-year-old Ashlee since late 2006, and recently gave the ‘Autobiography’ singer a promise ring. Speaking about the diamond band, which she wears on her ring finger, Ashlee said: “This is a promise ring. It just means that he hasn’t asked my dad if he can marry me yet!”

Pregnant Kerry Katona was back in The Priory last night as she plunged into depression again.

Worried mates feared the ex-Atomic Kitten may even have had a nervous breakdown — as filming of her fly-on-the-wall MTV1 show Crazy In Love was suspended. But her spokeswoman last night insisted that Kerry was “just a little down” and was staying at the clinic to re-charge her batteries.

Kerry checked in after a string of sleazy claims about her and hubby Mark Croft’s lifestyle. Mark, 37, was accused earlier this month of bedding barmaid Samantha Riaz, 29, last year. She claimed he only wanted Kerry’s money.

Kerry — due to give birth in May — was also said to have taken cocaine on New Year’s Eve.

A source said: “She’s been locked away in her bedroom for days just staring at the wall — severely emotional and depressed. Everything she was reading in the Press has built up.”

It is the fourth time mum-of-three Kerry, 27, has fled to the celeb haven. She first stayed there after her 2004 split from Westlife’s Brian McFadden. She then returned to the London clinic in June 2005 with depression and alcohol problems.

Spokeswoman Nicola Phillips, of Max Clifford Associates, said: “Kerry has not suffered a nervous breakdown. She suffers from bipolar disorder and is just feeling a little down.”

There’s drama surrounding Britney Spears again, but this time, it may actually do some good. UCLA Medical Center terminated at least 13 staff members and suspended at least 6 others for looking at the confidential medical records of the now recovering starlet while she was hospitalized there. The LA Times reported that in addition to the firings, 6 doctors will face disciplinary action for snooping into the computerized records at the hospital when she was placed on a ‘5150 hold’. UCLA officials also admitted that this wasn’t the first time Brit’s privacy had been compromised as several employees were also caught snooping into her records when she gave birth to Sean Preston back in 2005.

It was a pick-up basketball game that caused Jake Gyllenhaal to hurt his ankle. Last week he was hobbling around in an air cast with girl Reese Witherspoon. This week, he is continuing his recovery with a crutch.

We have to take this actually as a sign that he’s getting better. At least he is hobbling around to get some early morning coffee!

The Latino hunk is so taken with newborns Max and Emme that he has been helping tend to the tots day and night.

He said: “I’m so excited. I’m so hands-on with them that the household developed a nickname for me. They call me the Burp Whisperer. I told Jennifer, nothing you do is small. Everything you do it on such large scale. The first time you give birth, you give birth to twins.”

Jessica Simpson and MySpace President Tom Anderson appeared live on the Today Show on Monday in Camp Buehring, Kuwait. Jessica said “I am in Kuwait, I’m enjoying all the troops – having a blast. “[I’ve been] signing autographs, meeting them, showing all the support I can. It’s an amazing opportunity to come and support my troops. Everybody out here sacrifices their lives for me and my country.”Jessica, the Pussycat Dolls, Filter, Distrubed, Carlos Mencia, DJ Z-Trip and Metal Sanaz performed a the base for ‘Operation MySpace’ – a live concert for 5,000 troops which was broadcasted on MySpace. Kate Nash hates being a celebrity.

The 20-year-old British singer, who was catapulted into the limelight by the phenomenal success of hit single ‘Foundations’ and debut album ‘Made of Bricks’, loves being a musician but feels embarrassed by the accompanying fame.

She said: “I can’t knock it really - I’ve chosen to be a musician because I love it. But I feel really uncomfortable with the whole ’showbiz party’ thing. It’s just not my scene and it can be intimidating.

“I’ll be in a room full of people name-dropping and schmoozing and I think, ‘This is doing my head in.’ I feel embarrassed when people are impressed by it all, especially when they’re older than me. It’s easy to get sucked in. But I’m learning to cope with it and I constantly remind myself that it’s not real.”

Kate Nash - who was named Best British Female at this year’s BRIT Awards - insists she stays grounded by seeing her family and close friends as much as possible.

She added: “I love sitting at home, watching ‘The Simpsons’ and bickering with my friends and my sisters. I love the excitement of being away on tour, but getting back home helps me hold onto normality. I often sit around wishing I was down the pub with my friends, talking about things that inspire me.”

She may be super skinny, but Nicky Hilton says she is not anorexic. She has obviously lost a great deal of weight in the last four months and was looking extremely thin during L.A. Fashion week.

An insider says, “Nikki definitely looked thinner than last year - even last season’s - show. She wore a paper-thin printed dress that hung loose off of her frail frame.”

Nicky’s response? “I don’t care.”

I wanted to shake some sense into Hayden Panettiere when I found out she said she doesn’t have a model’s figure. But when I heard her determination to “rock her body” and is happy with what she’s got, I smiled again.

The Heroes babe accepts she’ll never be as thin as a supermodel, but instead of counting calories and obsessing over her genes, she’s learned to embrace her curves.

Hayden said: “I don’t have a model’s body. But I’m not one of those crazy girls who thinks that they’re fat. I’m okay with what I have. I can rock this body, y’know.”

The 18-year-old actress, who is rumoured to be dating Heroes co-star Milo Ventimiglia, also revealed she only dates men who aren’t “threatened” by her career.

“I need somebody who is very secure. In this business, I’m constantly standing next to gorgeous people. My job is to make out with attractive men. Like, hello, who wouldn’t be completely threatened by that? But, at the end of the day, you have to realise that it’s a job.”

The young star also insists she is too grounded to ever go off the rails like Britney Spears. Hayden said, “I think people look at me as just another one of those girls who’s going to screw up, like, ‘She’s going to get into drugs and she’s going to get into parties.’ I have an occasional glass of champagne when I’m celebrating something, but generally I don’t drink. I’m a pizza-and-a-movie girl.”

Perhaps more girls should take a leaf out of her book.

Taylor Swift is a fast rising star in the country music scene and she’s already a cover girl. The singer is all of 18 years old and she’s doing quite well for herself by getting featured on the cover of the new issue of Blender magazine – that doesn’t happen often for a country artist. Taylor also writes her own music and her song ‘Teardrops on My Guitar’ is gaining some speed on mainstream radio. I don’t follow country music that much, except maybe for Carrie Underwood, but Taylor’s songs are so catchy that I just can’t help but listen to her too.
