Mariah Carey Heads for the Hills
Friday, March 7th, 2008 Sources are saying that none other than Mariah Carey will be performing at MTV’s premiere party for ‘The Hills’ later this month. An insider also reveals that the reason why the party will be held in New York City instead of LA (the show is about the Hills, so go figure) was because Mariah is being a huge diva about it. She is scheduled to perform at the party but refuses to fly out to LA. So instead of having her fly out, MTV is having everyone fly in to NYC instead. Lauren Conrad must be so pissed that someone is upstaging her. A source from MTV counters the news however saying that the party was scheduled to be in NYC to begin with and it’s not because Mariah is being a diva – she hasn’t officially confirmed yet anyway.
