IMHO, I really don’t know if I should be admiring or pitying David Blaine for his attempts.
The daredevil is currently preparing for his newest stunt. A dizzying new stunt; according to reports he will hang upside down above New York’s Central Park for three days and two nights.
The illusionist, extremist or crazy person will be deprived of food (as always) as he is suspended six stories up on a high wire for his Dive of Death, which will be filmed to air on U.S. TV on 24 September 2008.
He will live, breathe and be forced to sleep upside down.
David’s most recent achievement was to hold his breath for more than 17 minutes. His plan this year is to break the world record for sleep deprivation.

Teen sensation Miley Cyrus will celebrate turning sweet 16 with a huge party at Disneyland.

The Hannah Montana star will shut down the Californian themepark for the day on October 5 and is inviting fans to join her by paying $250 to raise money for charity.

Miley, who will also belt out some songs, told US TV show ’Entertainment Tonight’: “I love roller coasters so this is my ultimate birthday.” She said the party will be “totally awesome”.

The ’Miley’s Sweet 16 – Share the Celebration’ bash will benefit ’Youth Service America’, which helps improve the lives of young Americans aged five to 25.

Explaining the decision to turn her celebrations into a fund-raiser, Miley said: “There’s only one world and we got to take care of it.”

She might have been booted off the American Idol stage for her ties to the world of bondage but reject Frenchie Davis didn’t have a chance of having that happen again. In fact, it probably got her into her most recent gig. The season 2 loser performed at a Toronto street fair last week but this wasn’t any local balloon festival or groundbreaking. Frenchie actually performed at a leather and fetish fair! I think the safe word to describe her taking this gig is “desperate”. Oh well, at least it sets her apart from the others who are pretty much nameless faces to me.

According to the Mirror, Amy Winehouse was spotted leading her 12-year old goddaughter into the Dingwalls nightclub which was located just a few minutes away from Wino’s London home. Of the few times she gets out, she makes sure that she makes the most of it in the worst ways possible. She looks cracked out, she hits a lady and then she brings a minor to a club. Bouncers in the US would’ve kicked the girl out in a heartbeat. What kind of mother leaves their daughter with a crack head anyway? A witness told the paper “Amy was in a right state, slurring her words and falling all over the place. It was sad to see a young girl being left to babysit her – it should be the other way around.”

Is it the children season or what? Is it the popular fashion to have babies these days in Hollywood?

Matt Damon and his lovely wife Luciana Damon had another baby girl on 20th August 2008. They have named her Gia Zavala.

Damon’s rep has told, “Everyone’s doing great. She is a healthy baby girl”.

The baby doll has joined the sisterhood of two elders. The eldest sister Alexia is 10 years old and Isabella is 2 years of age.

Damon lately joked about living with so many females, when he told USA Today from his home in Miami, “I’m so outnumbered down here, its crazy.”

Damon, 37, and Luciana, 32, got married in December 2005.

Peaches Geldof’s marriage could already be in jeopardy after a mystery woman was seen sneaking out of new husband Max Drummey’s home.

A stunning brunette left the musician’s Los Angeles apartment wearing the same clothes she was seen sporting the previous evening as she drove off in a sports car.

The news comes after Peaches, 19, – who married the rocker two weeks ago in a shock Las Vegas wedding after a whirlwind romance – was seen getting intimate with a man on the dancefloor in a club in Majorca, Spain.

An onlooker said: “Peaches got up from the table, went behind this guy, put her arms around his neck and nuzzled his cheek. At one point they slow-danced together. He cradled his arm around her waist and kissed her cheek.”

Max, 23, is said to be ‘terrified’ about his impending meeting with Peaches’ father – Live Aid organiser and singer Bob Geldof – in London later this week.

Jamie Lynn Spears’ fiancé Casey Aldridge reportedly ‘instigated’ an affair with a 28-year-old woman while Jamie Lynn was expecting the couple’s first child.

The ‘Zoey 101’ star – who gave birth to daughter Maddie Briann in June – is said to have been oblivious that her 19-year-old husband-to-be was cheating on her with Kelli Dawson.

Kelli said: “He totally instigated it and pursued me.”

However, Casey slowed things down with Kelli as Jamie Lynn neared the end of her third trimester, because he was so overcome with guilt. Kelli added: “Casey had to deal with the baby coming, and it had to stop. But even after we stopped having sex, we would still kiss occasionally. I still see him all the time, at least once a week.”

The pair’s relationship has also been confirmed by Jason Alexander, who was famously married to Jamie Lynn’s older sister Britney for 55 hours after a Las Vegas wedding in 2004.

Jason said: “Kelli and Casey have been a couple on and off for a few years. They were a really tight couple, but I think it was hard for Kelli, having Jamie Lynn in the picture.”

Kevin Jonas of the Jonas Brothers is choosing sides as he was spotted wearing a Team Demi and Selena shirt. The 20-year old’s shirt is referring to his current tour mate/fellow Disney sensation Demi Lovato and her best friend, the rumored girlfriend of Nick Jonas, Selena Gomez. It’s pretty clear that Kevin was making a slight jab to Disney’s Miley Cyrus and her back up dancer Mandy Jiroux. Maybe Kevin got hold of Miley’s latest interview and didn’t like what she said about his brother so he picked his side. Miley is obviously losing friends fast. She deserves all of it.

While I join the rest of the teenage girls wait for the second season of Gossip Girl, I can’t help but wonder WHY Blake’s nose looks a little different. I am not one to judge anyone, but SRSLY, we can all notice the difference.
Could it be the lighting? Could it be that her body has undergone a change as she aged? Or could it be something else?

British singer Joss Stone reportedly headbutted her own brother at a baptism. She was supposed to be godmother to her brother’s son but angered her family by arriving 30 minutes late to the baptism. She then refused to properly read some church stuff and when confronted by her relatives, she called them “old biddies”. When her bro called her out on her behavior, Joss turned violent as one guest revealed to the Daily Mirror “She was absolutely furious and they had a full-blown argument. They were screaming at each other and the next thing, Joss headbutted him. Other family members ran over to break it up and she stormed off. It turned from a nice family affair into a brawl between Joss and her brother. No one could believe it.”

The Jonas Brothers meet with student and fan Brooke Odom in Charlotte, North Carolina last week. The 18-year old female is the winner of the national Breakfast BREAKS Video Contest and had the time of her life last week when she met the band of brothers. She received a special guided tour backstage at their concert, went on board their tour bus and even picked up one of their guitars on stage before the show. Her experience was filmed by the brothers’ official videographer and will be online soon. Brooke beat out more than 1,000 entries from kids across the country with a video that was a mini-musical complete with an original song and choreography.

Missy Elliott is planning to adopt children because she is so terrified of giving birth.

The ‘Get Ur Freak On’ singer – who is notoriously guarded about her private life – admits she wants to have a family but is scared about the pain involved in a natural birth.

She said: “I most definitely want kids, but I’ll probably adopt. I don’t know if I can take the kind of pain women go through with childbirth. Maybe in the year 2020 you could just pop a baby out and it’d be fine. But right now I’d rather just adopt.”

Missy, 37, also revealed she keeps in shape by playing on the computer game ‘Dance Dance Revolution’ in amusement arcades.

She added: “I do ‘Dance Dance Revolution’. I’m not as good as the little kids that come in the arcade. Their little feet go crazy fast. I’m not that fast, but I’m good on it!”

Dannii Minogue and Sharon Osbourne may not be sharing the same judges’ table anymore but that doesn’t mean that they like each other now. In a new interview, current X-Factor judge Dannii shared a couple of choice words for former co-host Sharon saying “There’s nothing Sharon can say that will make me feel angry or bad. I couldn’t live my life the way she lives her life…I’m just happy for her to get on with it and I’ll stay out of the way. All the comments and behaviour say so much about her, and nothing about me.” Sharon once said that Dannii only got the job on the show because of her good looks.

Peaches Geldof insists “creative people” are allowed to make mistakes. The 19-year-old, the daughter of Bob Geldof, has dismissed criticism of her partying lifestyle following her reported drugs overdose earlier this month.

She said: “People have preconceived ideas of me – they can be so negative. Creative people can be allowed to make mistakes.”

Peaches – whose mother Paula Yates died of a heroin overdose in 2000 – was given mouth-to-mouth resuscitation by a friend at her London home, before paramedics arrived at the scene.

The TV presenter was brought back to consciousness but refused to go to hospital because she was terrified her father would find out. Last week, Peaches insisted her father Bob had no control over her.

The star, who is dating Horrors frontman Farris Rotter, said: “He doesn’t come along in the middle of the night and lock me in. He doesn’t need to be strict, I’m a woman now you know, I’m not 13. At almost 20 years old, I’m a woman and I live with two flatmates in Kings Cross while my dad lives in Battersea, so any idea I can be under curfew is a lie.”
