Anne Hathaway trusts Barack Obama for Presidency NOW

Thursday, September 4th, 2008

“The Devil Wears Prada” star Anne Hathaway, 25, attended the Democratic National Convention on 25th August 2008 in Denver.

The actress also expressed her candid views on the presidential candidate Barack Obama, saying, “I was kind of afraid of Obama, the first time I saw him. I thought, I’ve been burned by guys like you before. I’ve been burned by politicians before that I wanted to believe in and just didn’t live up to it. And I was afraid to trust him and I was afraid to have hope when I first kind of became aware of him. It was around the time that he gave his speech on race that I just said ‘I can’t deny how I feel about you, Barack Obama. I want you to be the president. I want you in the White House.”

“The Princess Diaries” star started to believe that Obama can cause change and he also understands how hard it is.
We can only pray that Obama proves himself worthy of the trust bestowed upon him by the cute princess.

My father is a liar – Lindsay Lohan

Thursday, September 4th, 2008

Lindsay Lohan has fired the latest shots in a continuing word war with her father, Michael.

“Just going to put it out there, I have had no contact with my father,” she wrote on the MySpace Celebrity Blog on Friday night. “I hope he uses this time to keep mourn the loss of his father, rather than taking the time to talk to the media about me or anyone in my life.”
Lindsay’s grandfather and Michael’s father, Richard Lohan, passed away on Thursday after a battle with colon cancer, E! reported. Following the death, Michael claimed to E! that Lindsay had contacted him.

“Lindsay did reach out to me. She sent me a message this morning. She said, ‘Now Papa has found peace and maybe we can find peace in our lives, too,’” he said.

The father-daughter conflict ignited this week after Michael went after Lindsay’s friend Samantha Ronson in the press, prompting the actress to tell Access Hollywood on Wednesday, “He’s out of control. I want him to stop hurting and talking to the media about the people I love.”

Michael Lohan destroys everything he’s supposed to have. He’s sad and lonely and leads a crappy life. I try to pity him, but I can’t waste any more time.
