The part time actor and singer will be playing the part of Andy, a heavily recruited freshman jock who will be torn between the two Frats on the show. Jesse is set to make his ‘Greek’ debut in early 2009 when the show kicks off its fourth season. Is his music career not doing well that he chose to go back to acting? And who the heck cast him as a jock? He would have worked better as a pretty boy. I may have trouble getting into his character.

Katy Perry fans better get ready as a limited edition doll of the ‘I Kissed a Girl’ singer has been released. You creeps better get those dirty thoughts out of your head! The doll retails at $49.99 and is similar to the one seen in her video for Madonna-loved song ‘Ur So Gay’. The doll maker, New York based toy maker Integrity Toys, says that it is only making 500 of the Katy dolls. I wonder what possessed them to want to make a Katy doll. Oh well, that’s capitalism at its best. When one item is hot, everything with that item’s name is hot by association.

The Hollywood Reporter is saying that Kanye West and Comedy Central are teaming up to do a hip-hop meets the Muppets pilot. Puppets with street cred! At the moment, the project is being called ‘Alligator Boots’. Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla’s Jackhole Productions are also involved in the project. This is great because Jimmy and Adam were behind the incredibly funny puppet show ‘Crank Yankers’. Let’s hope that they can create the same magic for Kanye’s show. Pending pilot pick up, we won’t b able to see the puppets on TV until 2009. I wonder what the show will be all about.

According to reports, the Hannah Montana set has turned into a bloody battleground. Miley Cyrus apparently wants out of the show to focus on her singing career and is doing what she can to get herself fired from the show. Billy Ray is apparently helping her in her mission. The father and daughter pair is apparently showing up to the set ridiculously late, stalling production and infuriating the cast and crew. Insiders say that Daddy thinks that his baby girl can make loads more money out on her own. When Disney caught wind that the duo told people that they were only going to do 12 more episodes, the Mouse House called their agents, branded them as ingrates and exercised a clause in the contract that allowed Disney to add 6 more episodes.
