Britney Spears will be celebrating her twenty-seventh birthday this year with the release of her sixth studio album, Circus. The highly anticipated album set for a December 2nd release features the # 1 hit “Womanizer” as well as collaborations with Max Martin, Dr. Luke, Danja, Guy Sigsworth (Madonna, Alanis Morissette) and more. Britney recently had a triple win at this year’s MTV VMAs.

Fergie, and Josh Duhamel were recently spotted taking a walk through a canyon with their little wiener dog in Los Angeles. When are these two getting married? The 33-year old singer and the 35-year old actor are said to be taking their time to get everything right for their upcoming nuptials said to be scheduled on June 2009. A pal of the duo revealed to InTouch Weekly that “Fergie has just started interviewing wedding planners. She’s also working with Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld on getting her fantasy gown.”

Country music superstar Carrie Underwood has reportedly lost all respect for Oprah, Jennifer Aniston, George Clooney and other celebrities who have backed candidates for office. Talk about ruffling some feathers. While talking about the elections with TV Guide, Carrie said “There is someone I do support, but I don’t support publicly. I lose all respect for celebrities when they back a candidate. It’s saying that the American public isn’t smart enough to make their own decisions. I would never want anybody to vote for anything or anybody just because I told them to. Music is where you go to get away from all the BS. Whether it’s from politics or just the world around you, music should be an escape.”

On Monday, Girls Aloud members Kimberley Walsh, Sarah Harding, Cheryl Cole and Nicola Roberts were seen at the Music Industry Trusts’ Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. But where was Nadine Coyle? The group’s so-called voice was missing. Why wasn’t she there? What? Was she too busy hanging out with her new American football player boyfriend? It’s a five-some Nadine. Not showing up and making them look like a foursome creates some questions. And not so good ones at that. You girls don’t want to end up like Danity Kane now would you? I’m not saying they’re in the same league, but you get my drift.
