Actress Freida Pinto who has found international success with the film Slumdog Millionaire has never found the same success in her native India because her boobs weren’t big enough and is considered by most as too skinny.
While speaking to the Complex magazine the actress says, “We have the voluptuous, full-figured woman thing. People say I need to get a boob job, but I’m just comfortable the way I am.”
Why are women typecast in every corner of the world, in the West big butts are a complete taboo and are voluptuous bodies while (like the actress says) in India they want full-figured woman. That is really a loss for Indian television and a gain for western world.

The Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paitrow wanted to show that she is not edgy. She also wanted to show to her fans that she ain’t uptight. And to do that she has decided to star in a TV show along with US chef Mario Batali on the show ‘Spain..On the Road again’.
Mario Batali and Gwyneth have known each other since the last 10 years and by this show she wants to salience those who think she is not easily approachable.
In other words the actress is going to a complete image and public relations makeover and what better way to reach a huge audience than to use television as her first choice medium.
According to Mario Batali “I’m sure the reason she did it was because people thought she was kind of uptight. But she’s not. She’s natural. She’s accessible – and it gave her a chance to show that.”

Jonas Brothers are set to release the Soundtrack to their new movie, “Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience” on February 24th, three days before the film is slated to hit 3D theaters across the nation. The soundtrack includes old favorites like “Hold On” and “S.O.S” as well as live performances with Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato, a Shania Twain cover, and one new, never-before-heard studio recording called “Love Is On Its Way.” The highly anticipated film goes behind-the-scenes with Kevin, Joe and Nick on last year’s Burning Up Tour, following their every move along the way. Former weather girl Ulrika Jonsson’s victory in the 2009 Celebrity Big Brother is the biggest shock in the history of reality TV. A lot of people, including Jonsson herself, did not expect her to win and Jonsson was even predicting earlier that she would be the first housemate who would be evicted from the Big Brother House. With a 56.7% share of the final vote, Jonsson was able to beat music journalist Terry Christian with 43.3% voting share and US rapper Coolio. The 41-year old Jonsson said her stay inside Big Brother’s house was one of the weirdest experiences in her life. She said she did not expect to win since her housemates found her bossy and she is not at all surprised about that because even her husband tells her that all the time. However, she could not help herself considering she has four kids in the house who has to take care of organization. In fact, she said, she would be mortified if she is kept inside by the voters saying she wanted to go home already to be with her children.
Christian, who called Jonsson the biggest ego in the show, said he liked Ulrika despite her moment because she has a good sense of humor. While winning the Celebrity Big Brother can open doors, it does not however guarantee fame and fortune. But even if she did not win, Jonsson already had a hefty £175,000 in her bank account for signing up with the show. Among the previous winners are model Chantelle Houghton, comedian Jack Dee, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and singer Mark Owen.

Pop queen Madonna is planning to do a follow up after the stellar success of her global jaunt in 2008 with a new Sticky & Sweet tour. She is on a high and wants to make full use of her recent success and is making plans to do a string of new shows for the summer in a bid to please fans in cities she couldn’t perform in the first time around.
She has already firm plans to tour in July and August and will extend her tour to include shows in Marseilles, France and Milan, Italy.

Kellie Pickler is starting to become a regular on the blogs list. The 22-year old American Idol alum recently wrote a blog entry about her new pet – a monkey! She wrote “The ‘Pickler Family’ has gotten bigger….(and no I didn’t have a kid)…I adopted a Marmoset Monkey! She is the cutest little thing. She is so tiny, only weighs 3 ounces right now. Innerwear maker Hanes has received unexpected boost from Hollywood actress Renee Zellweger and her statement has made her the unofficial brand ambassador for the company. According to Renee Zellweger it was the firm’s pantyhose saved her life on the freezing set of her new film.
Zellweger explains, “I didn’t know cold like that, it was a whole different kind of experience. I had to develop new survival skills. It was a whole new language for the biological things that happen. Who knew that pantyhose could be so very important – three or four pairs at a time. I never imagined that I would rejoice at the pantyhose laid out on the bed by wardrobe every morning. They were essential. I would not be here today were it not for the Hanes.”

In a recent interview, former NSYNC member JC Chasez calls his former band mate Lance Bass a liar. Lance has been majorly talking about having an NSYNC reunion and that it’s going to happen really soon. However, JC said “No. We haven’t discussed anything like that. I don’t know. Honestly, I can’t speak for him or as to why he would say that but I know nothing about one.” We all know Justin Timberlake doesn’t need to do the reunion because he has more than enough money. I can’t speak for the rest of them. Maybe that’s why Lance is saying those things – he needs work.

Being the daughter of the President of the United States has its perks and getting celebrities in your backyard is one of them. This was found out by Presidential daughters Malia and Sasha Obama during their first night at the White House when they got a surprise visit from the Jonas Brother. The girls were left alone with their Sidwell Friends (although having hundreds of White Staff and bodyguards wouldn’t quality as being alone) while their parents Barack and Michele Obama were making their inaugural ball rounds. While playing scavenger hunt to familiarize them with the White House, Malia and Sasha discovered Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas hiding in the East Room. It turned out the Jonas Brothers, who came with their parents, were invited to surprise and entertain the girls and their friends. The little surprise got a big help from First Lady Michelle Obama.
The Jonas Brother played three acoustic songs and gamely posed with the Obama kids and their guests. The Obama kids met the Jonas Brothers earlier during the Kids Inaugural concert. The Jonas Brothers performed with Miley Cyrus durign the Kids concert which had about 14,000 in the crowd. They were however upstaged by the First Lady when she came out with her kids to greet the crowd.

Among the performers at the inauguration ball today there is the super-diva Mariah Carey who will be singing “Hero” at the big show, a song I need remind you she thought of while taking a dump. Ironic that she had only these words to say about the event: “It’s fitting for him. It’s appropriate.” For the sake of the staff who will be working there I hope Mariah Carey won’t be showing off how much of a diva she tries to be, especially since Beyonce Knowles will be there too… and God knows who else. Woe unto those who have to put up with them all.
