Former OC starlet Mischa Barton has been learning about new religions and learning a new instrument during her stay in India. The 22-year old actress recently posted a blog saying “I must say my goal coming here was to learn to play the sitar and it’s coming along real slow as apparently it’s not that easy to procure a great sitar teacher here, I guess it not late 60’s with Ravi Shankar and George Harrison roaming around unfortunately!!!!” She’s so coherent when she blogs. I hope that she looks as coherent in person as she writes. Maybe that could be her New Year’s resolution.

Yeah that’s the way we all do it, till we do not have our own children we never realize how much bad we do to the other kids by swearing constantly and using objectionable language in TV interviews, song lyrics and else where.

Rocker Pete Wentz has said that he is seriously taking steps to clean up his language in 2009 – after becoming a dad. He and Ashlee Simpson welcomed their first baby Bronx Mowgli in November, and the Fall Out Boy star admits that he swears way too much and his New Year’s resolution is to cut it out.

Way to go Pete and I am a father as well and I have a hot temper but I too have witnessed that once I had my baby in 2006 I really was asked by my wife to cut it out completely or else our son would pick things up quickly.

Babies are really so innocent that they barely know things and they will pick up all things from your guys so what you is what they pick up and someday they will hold you responsible for their acts. So clean up real fast, if not a role model be good people to your and other’s kids as well.
