Lily Allen has reportedly gotten herself a guest spot on the Oprah Winfrey Show. How the heck did she manage that? Maybe the show’s all about interventions or something. Sources say that the troublesome British singer is determined to break into the American market this time around and will stop at Oprah’s, the ultimate influencer, while she’s in the USA’s side of the pond touring. As much as I would like to think that this isn’t true, I kind of wish that she will go on the show and prove that she’s good for nothing. Then she will have nowhere to run to because Oprah rules all.

Just because she issued a very half-assed apology doesn’t mean that Miley Cyrus is forgiven. The Organization of Chinese Americans isn’t letting the Hannah Montana star off easy for the lame picture that she and a couple of her friends took of themselves slanting their eyes and making a mockery of Asian people. The OCA have called her out on her sorry excuse of an apology and demanding more from Miley. The Executive Director of the OCA, George Wu, said “It’s not a real apology. We’re not backing down without a fuller apology.” I find it too bad that no apology can ever make up for Miley’s offense of existing.

Tune in tomorrow morning, February 12th, to Live With Regis and Kelly to see ten lucky girls vying for a date with Taylor Hicks! The American Idol alum is participating in the show’s “Dating With The Stars” contest which will score one winner a date with the soulful singer. The audience will then vote on which three ladies can compete to win a date with Taylor on Thursday, February 19th.

Taylor Hicks is currently touring with Grease, performing select solo dates and gearing up to release his album, The Distance, on March 10th.
