The actor has recently stated that he was overwhelmed with the reactions he received from his fans at the premiere of his new movie, “17 again”. Zac Efron said the following about the enthusiasm of his fans: “It’s insane. This is the biggest one yet. It’s so crazy.” Funny how “insane” and “crazy” have suddenly become marks of a good situation… Zac Efron will hopefully not encourage his fans to do even more crazy stuff through this. People are capable of a lot of scary things once they are blinded by the shining light of their idols and apparently Zac Efron is quite the little light-bulb these days.

Ashley Tisdale is looking mighty fine at the 2009 Kids’ Choice Awards held at UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon. The 23-year old actress’ flick ‘High School Musical 3: Senior Year’ won Favorite Movie. Ashley will also be releasing her sophomore album, ‘Guilty Pleasure’, on June 16th. I guess she’s focusing more on her music now than she is on her acting. I haven’t even heard any rumors of her taking on any acting roles unlike the rest of her famous cast mates. I still find it such a shame that Zac Efron chose to drop off of ‘Footloose’.

The tattoo artist responsible for giving Rihanna her newest set of ink, a pair of guns on her ribs, one on each rib, is speaking out about why he thinks the Barbadian babe got the tattoos. BangBang told Life & Style “If I had to say why she got it, it’s because she kicks ass and everybody supports her! She can do whatever she wants. She’s one of the nicest and sweetest people I know. She has a lot of really good friends supporting her. We didn’t talk about why she specifically got it. She’s a rock. She’s just thinking about having a great time now.”

Crooner John Mayer was earlier chided for his harsh words to Britney Spears whom he did not even know. The latest casualty of John Mayer’s mouth is social networking phenomenon Twitter which he said is stupid. Funny because John Mayer is a Twitter user and his fans are even awaiting his twit as to the real status of his relationship with Jennifer Aniston. The two reportedly split up after appearing all sugary in last month’s Academy Awards.

John Mayer said Twitter is not only silly but it is also dumb—so would that make users like him also silly and dumb? Worse, he said Twitter is one step away from sending your poop photos. While admitting to being a Twitter user, John Mayer however said he does not have a devotion to Twitter and is also using other social networking tools like the message boards or Napster. He said Twitter is just something you try out because everybody is doing it.

Fans can sometimes be a pain especially when they are overzealous. Take the case of Twilight star Robert Pattinson who required the protection of some of the finest bodyguards in Canada where he is filming scenes for “New Moon”. Constable Brendon Baillant said his mission may be unusual but it is his responsibility to keep Robert Pattinson’s fans away from the set and away from the actor.

Robert Pattinson was filming the Twilight sequel near Vancouver, Canada. Canada’s gloomy weather may be too lonely for most residents but the New Moon Crew loved the place even if it was raining all the time because the atmosphere gave the scene a more realistic and gloomy atmosphere which would give the chills even to a vampire.

The model recently had her ear pierced five times recently. A source had this to say about Kate Moss’ new fashion “design”: “Kate spent around £90 on piercings. She’s picked a very tricky part of the body because the cartilage on the side of the ear takes up to a year to heal.” Are models even allowed to do something like that? Well, most definitely Kate Moss’ decision to slaughter her ear will have some sort of effect on her career. But what is she going for? Modeling for new-age punk outfits or something of the sorts? I thought piercing yourself senselessly died out with the last band that played true punk.

The new kink on American Idol seems to be drawing more and more opinions from former contestants. One of them, Brooke White, shared her impressions on the new ice-breaker from the show, putting it in relation to the fact that Alexis Grace got canned from the show: “It probably would’ve been very difficult for me to pull off a poised performance. I would’ve been scared out of my mind. I would’ve felt very vulnerable in that moment. I would like to think I would have done my best, but, most likely, the feelings of the moment would have taken over. Yes, it’s entertainment, but it’s still someone’s life. It’s harder than anything anyone at home can imagine.” I don’t think “entertainment” and “someone’s life” really go together. You’d think that Brooke White might have learned that by now since she was the fifth finalist of the seventh season. Surely the time expired from that moment unto this might have changed Brooke White’s perspective on entertainment.

16 Frames’ new album, Where It Ends! The Los Angeles based band teamed up with producer Matt Serletic (Matchbox 20, Santana) for their major label debut. Tracks from Where It Ends have been featured on MTV’s The Hills and recently appeared in the promos for ABC’s Private Practice.
Steve, Josh and Dylan from the band sat down to talk about their favorite songs on the album and how everyone needs to learn all the words to sing along on their upcoming tour. Head over to iTunes to grab Where It Ends featuring the single “Back Again” today.

New song by Kate Voegele, “Manhattan From The Sky” The track was featured on last night’s episode of One Tree Hill and is one of the several shiny new gems featured on her upcoming release, A Fine Mess, due out in May. Kate Voegele, who plays the spunky Mia on the popular teen drama, calls the placement of “Manhattan From The Sky” “the most amazing set-up ever.” “The coolest thing is how they worked the song into the show so that it enhanced the scene, and how the scene enhanced the song.”
She says the idea for the piano-driven pop number came to her while sitting in a plane, 30,000 feet above New York City. “I was just thinking about how Manhattan looks like a little piece of Lego,” Voegele recalls, “but once you’re inside, it’s totally crazy and messy and there’s a wonderful chaos going on all around the city.”

The rock continues on for Single File as they release Common Struggles, their major label debut, on April 7th. The album, produced by Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, The All-American Rejects, Less Than Jake) features the quirky pop-rock track “Mannequin Loveseat” as well as the just released album single “Girlfriends.” The new single is sure to be a hit as it channels the likes of Weezer, Plain White T’s and all that’s right with modern pop-rock.

The actress has recently been spotted showing a photograph of Kate Moss to her hairdresser in the idea of getting a hair-style just like that of the model. A source said the following about Cameron Diaz’s intentions: “Cameron is obviously a fan of Kate’s hair. She took the photograph with her and showed the stylist exactly what she wanted. Kate must be very flattered that someone like Cameron wants to copy her look.” Oh so now the hairstyles get special treatment as well? Actually, it’s no new thing, just that something like what Cameron Diaz is doing might at some point spark a need for copyright on certain ways to make your hair look. After all, it does have the prospects of a profitable endeavor.

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne have reportedly banned their daughter Kelly Osbourne from marrying her fiancé Luke Worrall for another five years. Kelly Osbourne has just finished her third stint at a rehab center where she received treatment for alcohol & drug addiction.

Her mother Sharon Osbourne insists that she won’t be particular about Luke Worrall’s condition but according to her Kelly needs to grow up big time before she can even think of getting married.

Sharon says, “Neither of them is ready for domestic bliss right now.” Astonishingly Kelly approves of the same. She says, “I’d become one of those cracked out housewives with a vacuum cleaner, hopped up on Dexedrine.”

The entire family is crocked and should be titled the weirdest family in Hollywood. Even if she is allow to get married 5 years later she should be banned for life from giving birth. The world will be a safer place without the Osbourne family around.

Rumors that Drew Barrymore will direct the Twilight third installment are just that–rumors. Apparently, the Twilight third installment will not be directed by Drew Barrymore, or James Mangold or “New Moon” director Chris Weitz’s brother Paul Weitz. Instead, the third Twilight movie will be directed by a Spanish director. Reports show that Juan Antonio Bayona who directed the horror-thriller “The Orphanage” will direct “Eclipse” which is Twilight’s third movie.

Juan Antonio Bayona’s “The Orphanage” is however in Spanish language and he has never directed an English-language film. Well, the director will not have any speaking language in the movie so that may not matter at all but unless he speaks fluent English or the “Eclipse” cast speaks very good Spanish there might be a problem with communication. Eclipse is expected to be shown by June 2010.

Pussycat Dolls have just premiered the video for their version of A R Rahman’s Oscar winning “Jai Ho!” “It was such a great honor to be able to re-write my own version of the lyrics,” said Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger who worked with producer Ron Fair on the new interpretation of the track. The Dolls shot the video for “Jai Ho – You Are My Destiny” at an abandoned train station museum in snowy Vienna with director Thomas Kloss – Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus.

Check out Demi Lovato’s just released video for “Don’t Forget. “ The video for the heartfelt ballad was shot at Griffith Park in Los Angeles, CA and features Demi rocking out in the rain. “Don’t Forget” is the title track off of Demi’s debut album and will appear on her new Deluxe Edition due out on March 31st along with two brand new songs, behind the scenes content and making of the video footage.
