Ashley Tisdale is looking mighty fine at the 2009 Kids’ Choice Awards held at UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon. The 23-year old actress’ flick ‘High School Musical 3: Senior Year’ won Favorite Movie. Ashley will also be releasing her sophomore album, ‘Guilty Pleasure’, on June 16th. I guess she’s focusing more on her music now than she is on her acting. I haven’t even heard any rumors of her taking on any acting roles unlike the rest of her famous cast mates. I still find it such a shame that Zac Efron chose to drop off of ‘Footloose’.

The tattoo artist responsible for giving Rihanna her newest set of ink, a pair of guns on her ribs, one on each rib, is speaking out about why he thinks the Barbadian babe got the tattoos. BangBang told Life & Style “If I had to say why she got it, it’s because she kicks ass and everybody supports her! She can do whatever she wants. She’s one of the nicest and sweetest people I know. She has a lot of really good friends supporting her. We didn’t talk about why she specifically got it. She’s a rock. She’s just thinking about having a great time now.”

Crooner John Mayer was earlier chided for his harsh words to Britney Spears whom he did not even know. The latest casualty of John Mayer’s mouth is social networking phenomenon Twitter which he said is stupid. Funny because John Mayer is a Twitter user and his fans are even awaiting his twit as to the real status of his relationship with Jennifer Aniston. The two reportedly split up after appearing all sugary in last month’s Academy Awards.

John Mayer said Twitter is not only silly but it is also dumb—so would that make users like him also silly and dumb? Worse, he said Twitter is one step away from sending your poop photos. While admitting to being a Twitter user, John Mayer however said he does not have a devotion to Twitter and is also using other social networking tools like the message boards or Napster. He said Twitter is just something you try out because everybody is doing it.
