Here’s one for the books! While even the strong and the might shun away from Mexico here’s one couple who has proven they are beyond scaring or could that be beyond logic? Newlyweds Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag opted to go where Wolverine’s Hugh Jackman and Star Trek refused to go–Mexico! Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt got married last week and went to Mexico for their honeymoon; blame it on lack of foresight or lack of budget.
The honeymooning couple is on their way home from Mexico City but there are no reports if they will be subjected to extreme quarantine at the Los Angeles Airport. Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt may have finally been enlightened about the dangers of the swine flu because they cut short their honeymoon after the swine flu became a health scare worldwide. Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag however said they have both been wearing surgical masks ever since they heard of the swine flu epidemic which has killed more than 150 people in Mexico.
Ugly Betty star Becki Newton said "everyone fell in love" with Victoria Beckham when she made a cameo on the show.
Becki, 30, plays Amanda in the hit US sitcom, which also stars America Ferrera, Vanessa Williams and Eric Mabius.
Victoria, 35, made a cameo on the show playing herself.
Amanda said: "I had an idea in my head of what she must be like, but then she showed up on set and was so low-key and funny."
She added to Britain’s Elle magazine: "She’s so tiny – I thought she would be 9ft tall. Out of all the guest stars we’ve had, she did the best job of sending herself up. She doesn’t take herself too seriously."
Becki also revealed she once had an ‘ugly betty’ moment herself when she was younger.
She said: "My teenage years and early twenties were pretty bad. It makes me cringe to think about it. I used to cut my own hair into a bowl cut, which made me look like Moe from The Three Stooges, and I would wear everything three sizes too big."
Carey Hart was the first to confirm that he and ex-wife Pink are trying to work things out but his rocker girl is now also coming out in the open saying that they are “definitely back together”. Pink is currently out on her ‘Funhouse’ tour which she describes as “two hours of group therapy”. She also says that she’s not really concerned with remarrying because “we never really legally got divorced. Paperwork for both of us is really annoying (laughs). So we’re choosing to be together. Our role models are Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon and Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn – people who just choose to be together every day because they want to be there. And labels have never been our thing, so, we’re just diving into that empty swimming pool, headfirst.”
Slumdog Millionaire star Dev Patel’s mum has said “life can’t get any better” for her son as she further confirms her son’s relationship with Freida Pinto.
Dev’s mum Anita, 45, said: “First it was the film and now everything else seems to have slotted into place. Life can’t get any better for him.”
Dev, 18, and Freida, 24, were spotted looking close on set of Freida’s new film in Israel recently.
His mum added to British newspaper the Daily Mirror: “Freida is really beautiful and I am really happy for them. Yes, we knew he was flying to Israel to see her.”
The couple were said to have met while shooting Danny Boyle’s Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire and travelled the world together promoting the hit film.

Troubled Redmond O’Neal has been formally charged with a felony count of drug possession after he was arrested over the weekend.
The son of Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O’Neal appeared in a California court, where his attorney asked for his bail to be reduced.
But a judge denied the request and instead raised the bail amount from $25,000 to $75,000.
Redmond, 24, wearing a prison blue jumpsuit and looking tired, appeared at the Newhall Municipal Court in Santa Clarita, California to face charges that he was carrying heroin and Xanax on him when he was visiting a friend at a county jail.
He is currently still in custody but is also due in a Malibu court this week in connection with a probation violation related to being kicked out of rehab last week.
Redmond has been in and out of drug rehab several times and fled from one last week.
He was arrested at 9.30am on Sunday in the visitors parking lot of the Pitchess Detention Center in Castaic, California and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
While police can and do routinely search the cars of visitors to the Pitchess Detention Center, sources close to the O’Neal family said Redmond, who was driving, was acting erratically and drew attention to himself.
Meanwhile, Redmond’s mother, Farrah Fawcett, is still currently hospitalized in the Los Angeles area, suffering a serious setback in her battle against cancer.
High School Musical actress Vanessa Hudgens could be headed to court after lawyers for the star failed to reach an agreement with a former manager over a $5 million lawsuit.
Hudgens, 20, was pictured leaving a mediation session in Los Angeles today between her and Johnny Vieira, who is suing her for $5 million he claims to be owed for making her a star.
Hudgens had nothing to say as she walked from the law offices but Vieira told reporters the meeting was a failure.
"The mediation was not successful, so it looks like we are moving to trial,” he said.
Vieira later released a statement saying: "It’s unfortunate we were unable to settle this matter today but I look forward to the trial where we will show a jury that I was responsible for launching Vanessa’s career yet wasn’t adequately compensated.”
Vieira is suing the actress for breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty, and is also asking that a private settlement they agreed on when they parted ways be rescinded.
Ashley Tisdale recently broke up with her V Factory band member boyfriend Jared Murillo. But don’t think that she’s one to sit around and mope over a break up as the ‘High School Musical’ star has quickly moved on to a new man. She’s now with 26-year old music video director Scott Speer. Scott has actually directed the 23-year old singer and actress in four of her music videos – ‘He Said She Said’, ‘Suddenly’, ‘Not Like That’ and the upcoming ‘It’s Alright It’s Ok’, which is the first single from Ashley’s upcoming album ‘Guilty Pleasure’. I guess it didn’t take them long to turn their professional relationship into a romantic one.
Zac Efron has finally broken free from the curse of being identified with a highly successful movie series the “High School Musical” with the box office success of “17 Again”. Every celebrity knows the difficulty of breaking free from the shadow of a successful group movie but Zac Efron has done it, even besting the hit “Hannah Montana: The Movie” from fellow Disney teammate Miley Cyrus.
Zac Efron may share billing with Matthew Perry in the comedy “17 Again” as the latter’s youthful version but this is clearly Zac Efron’s movie. The movie topped the weekend box office with $24.1 million in receipts, way beyond the $20 million expected by the studio. Warner Bros head of distribution Dan Fellman said Zac Efron is hardworking and talented and has given his all to promote the movie.
The producers of hit TV show Gossip Girl are said to be furious at star Ed Westwick for gaining weight.
The actor, who plays heartthrob Chuck Bass, has reportedly piled on so many pounds in recent months that the wardrobe department has even had to buy new clothes to fit his expanding waistline, it has been claimed.
A source said: "Ed has been gaining a lot of weight – not just around the waist, but through the whole body. It even shows in his face."
An insider told a US magazine: "First, the costume department had to buy him new, bigger pants [trousers]. Then, his shirts and jackets got way too snug. The costumers even requested that the producers talk to Ed – they don’t want Chuck to be fat."
A representative for the English-born actor, 21, was unavailable for comment.
Through a “tweet” on Twitter.com today, DAVE MATTHEWS BAND have announced that they are giving away their new single, “Funny the Way It Is,” as a free download for one week. Dave (@davejmatthews) and bassist Stefan Lessard (@slessard) are both very active on Twitter, keeping touch with their huge fanbase and decided it was the perfect place to get the word out. The song comes off their upcoming album, Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King, which hits stores on June 2nd. It will be the band’s first studio album since the death of saxophonist LeRoi Moore last summer. The “GrooGrux King” in the album title refers to Moore’s nickname within the group. Matthews created all of the artwork for Big Whiskey, including the richly detailed cover illustration that puts a GrooGrux spin on New Orleans’ traditional Mardi Gras parades while evoking the joy and the sorrow expressed in the album’s songs. Matthews has designed logos and other elements in the past, but this is the first time he has created the entire packaging for a Dave Matthews Band album.
Guitarist Tim Reynolds will play on the album, making it his first recording with DMB since 1998’s Before These Crowded Streets. The album was produced by Rob Cavallo (Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Goo Goo Dolls). Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King will also feature the recording debuts of Rashawn Ross who joined the band in 1996 but hadn’t played on any of their studio releases yet and Moore’s replacement, saxophonist Jeff Coffin who also is a member of Béla Fleck and the Flecktones. DMB just released a trailer for the new album which can be seen below.

21st Century Breakdown, which will be released by Reprise Records worldwide on May 15th, is the best-selling trio’s first studio album since 2004’s two-time Grammy Award-winning punk-rock opera American Idiot, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard chart, spawned five hit singles, and went on to sell more than 12 million copies worldwide. In a recent feature, Rolling Stone called 21st Century Breakdown “even more ambitious than American Idiot” and “a record of die-hard punk ideals…tightly scripted, continually ascending classic-rock excitement.”

Ashley Tisdale has just released her brand new single “It’s Alright, It’s OK!” The track premiered earlier this morning live with Ryan Seacrest on KIIS FM. Co-written by Swedish production team Twin, the song is a spunky break-up anthem about being single and in control of your life for the first time.
“I love break-up songs,” Tisdale says. “Everyone can relate to those moments when you need to vent your frustration about a previous relationship. ‘It’s Alright, It’s OK’ is about how you need to stand up for yourself and not let someone walk all over you; it’s a message I wanted to get across to other girls.”
An accompanying video to “It’s Alright, It’s OK” will premiere on MySpace’s on April 21st with feature support from such major online partners as AOL Music and Yahoo! Music, and MTV.com will premiere exclusive “making of the video” footage the week of the single’s release. Tisdale stars in the video with actor Adam Gregory (the CW’s 90210), who plays her ex-boyfriend. The clip was directed by Scott Speer, who has helmed previous videos for Tisdale as well as those from Jordin Sparks and David Archuleta.
