Slumdog Millionaire star Dev Patel’s mum has said “life can’t get any better” for her son as she further confirms her son’s relationship with Freida Pinto.

Dev’s mum Anita, 45, said: “First it was the film and now everything else seems to have slotted into place. Life can’t get any better for him.”

Dev, 18, and Freida, 24, were spotted looking close on set of Freida’s new film in Israel recently.

His mum added to British newspaper the Daily Mirror: “Freida is really beautiful and I am really happy for them. Yes, we knew he was flying to Israel to see her.”

The couple were said to have met while shooting Danny Boyle’s Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire and travelled the world together promoting the hit film.

Twilight actor Taylor Lautner has reportedly been on several dates with Disney star Selena Gomez

Twilight actor Taylor Lautner has reportedly been on several dates with Disney star Selena Gomez.

Lautner, 17, is currently shooting Twilight sequel New Moon in Vancouver, Canada, where Gomez, 16, is also filming Ramona and Beezus.

It is claimed the pair were joined by Gomez’s mum at Caffe Artigiano for a morning date.

A source said: "They were very low-key and kept to themselves."

The source added to E! Online: "Nobody bothered them."

Reports also claim the teens enjoyed a dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory.

The only fuss was reportedly from a group of girls "who were really excited" but didn’t approach the pair, according to the source.
