Harry Potter star Rupert Grint says playing Quidditch is no fun

Harry Potter star Rupert Grint says making his Quidditch debut in the latest installment of the blockbuster films was no fun.

The young Brit actor finally got his chance to play the magical flying broomstick sport as Harry’s pal Ron Weasley in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

But filming the scenes left 20-year-old Grint tired, sore and nursing splitting headaches.

Grint told the Los Angeles Times he struggled with the mechanised broom handle and headaches from staring at the giant green screen where computer artists later drew in the crowd.

He said: “I found out it was not as much fun to film as I hoped.

“It’s going to be more fun to watch than it was to film.”

Rupert is great! He is too adorable. :) He’s also an amazing actor. I recently got to see him in “Cherrybomb” and he’s fantastic. Unfortunately, they’re having trouble securing a distributor. I hope this is okay, because Rupert fans or people interested in seeing his work outside of HP should get a chance to see this! The company handling sales has put petitions together and has asked us to help spread the word: http://www.rupert-grint.us/wordpress/cherrybomb-distribution-campaign/ – Petitions at the bottom of the page! – petitions at the bottom of the page!
