Bradley Cooper recalls days as a newspaper man
Bradley Cooper, a rising star who will appear with Julia Roberts in Valentine’s Day, says he once worked on a Philadelphia newspaper and made the mistake of penning a piece titled When Best Friends Cross the Line.
Cooper recalled working at the paper of the same name as a senior in high school.
He wrote the piece about a friend, Deb Landes, "I wrote it like a lovesick puppy."
But when it came out, he was booed during a lacrosse game he was playing and later taken aside by his editor, who told him he made his first mistake.
"You never write about that," he was told.
Cooper’s current movie is smart buddy flick The Hangover with Heather Graham.
