Celebrities pucker up for charity

Hollywood’s top celebrities are puckering up for charity.

Hot actresses Reese Witherspoon, Keira Knightley, Eva Longoria and Evangeline Lilley are all kissing for a cause.

They have left their lips on specially designed handbags to be auctioned off for the Stars For A Cause charity.

And it’s not just the actresses who have got in on the action – Tudors star Jonathan Rhys Myers and Capote actor Philip Seymour Hoffman have also embellished purses with a celebrity kiss.

The star studded one of a kind auction by Bonhams and Butterfields, to be held in Los Angeles on May 28, will also have going under the hammer a collection of custom-made, hand-crafted jewelry and fashion accessories.

The items, including necklaces, bracelets and rings have been worn by a who’s-who list of Hollywood celebrities that include Angelina Jolie, Victoria Beckham,. Miley Cyrus, Mariah Carey, Charlize Theron, Jennifer Lopez and Goldie Hawn.

The auction will also feature one of a kind jewellery worn by celebrities on the red carpet at this year’s Golden Globes – which they designed themselves.

The Rhodes jewelry – designed by Robyn Rhodes who worked with the celebrities and oversaw the manufacturing of the one-of-kind pieces – has been worn by such stars as Jessica Alba, Penelope Cruz, Scarlett Johansson and Eva Longoria.

The jewellery incorporates precious and semi-precious stones, pearls, 14K gold-filled and sterling silver chains.

Other auction highlights include a six litre ‘Methuselah’ bottle of Moët & Chandon Champagne signed in gold by Golden Globe winners, nominees and presenters, including the cast of Slumdog Millionaire, Colin Farrell, Susan Sarandon and Ricky Gervais.
