Spencer Pratt has said he never planned to leave I’m A Celebrity and said it was just a “mental fake out” to “mess” with the other contestants.

The 25-year-old entered the Costa Rican jungle with wife Heidi Montag, 22, but the couple reportedly quit the reality show shortly after it started.

However, it is now claimed the pair’s departure was part of a ploy to boost ratings and the couple will now be making a return.

Spencer said: “[It was all a] mental fake out to mess with the competitors.”

He also hit back at fellow Hills star Audrina Patridge after she said she would never appear on the NBC reality show.

He said: “Heads up, Audrina. Just because you have a one-night stand with a guy who’s in a movie called Star Trek doesn’t make you a star. You’re just a ho.”

Mamma Mia star Amanda Seyfried has admitted she wasn’t an Abba fan before landing the lead role in the film.

Amanda, 23, stars in the film adaptation of the hit musical alongside Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan and Dominic Cooper, who she is now dating.

She said: “I knew Dancing Queen. But then when we started working I realised there were all these songs that I’d heard but never realised were by ABBA.”

Amanda also talked about her musical performance at this year’s Oscars ceremony alongside a host of other stars.

She said: “As I was filming in Toronto, I had one day to rehearse – Dominic had been in LA all week and still didn’t get it by the time show time came around.

“We were so nervous and we had Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron with us, who were rock solid, the perfect students. I almost fell down the steps during the live show – Dominic caught me.

“But hey, I got to hold hands with Hugh Jackman on the Oscars stage, which was pretty ridiculous in itself!”
