Meet Charice – a seventeen year old Filipino superstar whose powerful voice shines wise beyond her years. Charice was originally discovered by Oprah’s producers via a YouTube video which was filmed when she was just fifteen years old. The internet sensation has impressed both fans and industry professionals after racking up over thirteen million hits online.
Charice recently premiered her new single, “Note To God,” on “Oprah’s Search for the World’s Smartest and Most Talented Kids.” The haunting and emotionally charged track was produced by the legendary David Foster and written by Grammy winner Diane Warren.

Ticketmaster is probably one of the worst companies in America as they have screwed up once again. They screwed up this past Monday when they posted the wrong seating chart for Miley Cyrus’ concert at Long Island’s Nassau Coliseum, which has caused fans to pay big money for lame seats. Ticketmaster later released a statement regarding the mistake saying “Some fans who purchased the best available floor tickets to Miley Cyrus’s upcoming Nassau Coliseum concerts during Monday’s fanclub presale may have viewed a seating map that was updated later that day. The system did provide the best tickets available to all buyers at their time of purchase, however if any consumer is unhappy with their floor seats in sections A2, B2, and C2 because of the seating map change, they may obtain a refund by calling Ticketmaster’s customer service at 1-800-745-3000.”

‘New Moon’ co-stars Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning were spotted leaving a vocal studio on Monday in Los Angeles to prepare for their upcoming film ‘The Runaways’. 19-year old Kristen and 15-year old Dakota will play Joan Jett and Cherie Currie respectively in the movie which revolves around the first all-female band of the 1970s rock era. The biopic, which is scheduled to be released in 2010, will also star Stella Maeve who will play the band’s drummer Sandy West. I wonder if they will be singing songs in the movie. I hope not. I don’t want any more actors getting the idea that they can make it in the music industry.
