Blanket set for stardom

Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

Michael Jackson’s youngest son, Prince Michael II also called “blanket”, is apparently showing signs of being the next big king of pop music… or so Mark Lester, his godfather claimed: “Prince loved ‘Thriller,’ Paris liked ‘Smooth Criminal’ best and Blanket adored them all. He could easily be the next Michael Jackson. He loved to dance with his dad and Michael taught him to do the moonwalk.” Wow… just imagine that! Blanket loved all of his father’s songs, surely that makes him a shoe-in for the position Michael Jackson left open… that and the fact that he has already mastered the moonwalk. In the spirit of this even it is probably safe to say: the king is dead, long live the king… after all, Mark Lester already said it.

Mena Suvari has her chest tattooed

Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

Mena Suvari has been spotted with an intriguing tattoo inked onto her chest that might spell bad luck.

Suvari on a beach holiday in Mexico was seen with the number 13 – which is sometimes considered unlucky – etched on her chest just under the v-shape of her breast bone and ribs.

American Beauty star Suvari recently appeared in Garden of Eden, which was based on the novel by Ernest Hemingway.

She is engaged to Simone Sestito, a music producer who was also seen sporting a matching, larger etching of the number 13 on his upper right chest.

The couple met at the Toronto International Film Festival. Suvari is divorced from cinematographer Robert Brinkmann.

Suvari is lined up to appear in You May Not Kiss The Bride, starring Vinnie Jones, due to be released in 2010.

Jack Tweed is reportedly to open new restaurant

Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

Jade Goody’s widower Jack Tweed is reportedly set to open a new restaurant serving “meat and fish”.

The 21-year-old, whose wife Jade died of cervical cancer in March, is said to be planning the new venture to get over the loss of his wife. The club promoter recently finished serving a prison sentence for assault.

It is claimed Jack and two pals cannot make up their minds about a name for the restaurant.

An insider said: “They could not decide on a title, although there has obviously been talk of whether to name it in Jade’s honour. But they’re unsure if that’s the best thing for Jade’s legacy.

“It’s going to be a top place when all the plans are finalised. It’s in a popular area and will cater for all tastes. Jack’s hoping it’ll be a great success.

Talking about the restaurant, he said: “I don’t know the name of it. People keep asking me. It’s things like meat and fish – normal food. A little bit of everything.”
