A claim by a former Gosselin babysitter that Jon Gosselin hacked into his wife’s e-mails has met with a strong reaction.

Through her lawyer, Kate Gosselin issued a statement that read: “Kate Gosselin has heard the allegations made by Stephanie Santoro that Jon Gosselin ‘hacked’ into her e-mails, phone and on-line accounts, and she is profoundly disturbed by them. Ms Gosselin is carefully considering all of her legal options regarding this matter, and she will pursue them if and when the time is right.”

Santoro claims she had a brief romantic liaison with Jon.

He denied the e-mail allegation, according to his attorney, Mark Heller. “I spoke with him [Jon] today concerning this statement made by Stephanie and he unequivocally told me that he’s never illegally invaded Kate’s electronic privacy in any way,” Heller said.

“He also finds it a little disappointing that Kate would give credence to an uncorroborated statement made by an individual who clearly has a motivation to tell stories about Jon that might result in financial [compensation].”

Santoro made the allegations in an exclusive interview with Radar Online.

Jessica Simpson was offered a brain sandwich, or a sandwich of brains, to be exact.

Simpson became squeamish at the prospect, however.

She was working on her new TV show The Price of Beauty in Morocco when the sandwich – a local delicacy – was apparently to be worked into the script.

She said: “We definitely had our moments. Somebody threw a bun in front of me, and I was supposed to make a brain sandwich. You know, that’s not really something I want to partake in!”

Morocco gave Simpson a sense of empowerment about how much power women can have without showing their flesh.

She said: “The women there are incredible. Such powerful people, and going in, you would think that the women would be repressed, but there was nothing repressed about the women. The woman owns the house, she’s in complete control. She stays covered to keep herself for her man.”

Details for the funeral of Boyzone singer Stephen Gately have been announced. The former boy band member will be laid to rest at noon on Saturday at St. Laurence O’Toole’s Church in his hometown of Dublin. Stephen’s grieving husband, Andrew Cowles, visited the Calvia mortuary where Stephen’s body was held in Majorca, while Boyzone manager and X Factor judge Louis Walsh confirmed that he will be attending the funeral this weekend. It’s a sad time for all of Stephen’s friends and family. His was a life that was definitely taken way too early. I hope that his family can find closure and Stephen rest in peace.
