Simon Cowell gets real about the twins

Simon Cowell believes Jedward is immune to its own lack of talent.
After casting the deciding vote in the tight contest of twin act Jedward and Lucie Jones, Cowell told a radio station Jedward does not know how bad they are.
Speaking on the GMG Radio network, Cowell said: “They are deluded in such a funny way that they’re genuinely not aware how bad they are. They just live in the twins’ world. They think they’re pop stars and everything’s fantastic and they obviously hear something different to the rest of the world.”
The British public has not rallied to Jedward, with The X Factor viewers jamming the ITV network in protest after Jones was booted off in favour of an act many believe is talentless.
Cowell said: “I sit there thinking, ‘I’ve got to get over my personal feelings; I’ve got to find something positive or constructive to say at the end of this performance. And each week they get progressively worse and that’s when I get frustrated.”
Cowell defended his unpopular decision to support Jedward with his swinging vote. “If you allow – which I think is right – the public to determine who wins, you’ve got to go with it. You don’t have to agree with it but you have to go with it.”
