Ashlee Simpson Wentz has confirmed reports she will appear in the Broadway show Chicago.

The 25-year-old previously appeared on London’s West End as Roxie Hart and following the end of her stint on revived show Melrose Place, she will be heading to Broadway to play Roxie once again.

Ashlee will start her run as Roxie at New York’s theatre district on November 30.

She said: “I’m honored to be reprising my role as Chicago’s Roxie Hart, returning to the stage and joining this amazing cast.

“Being on Broadway is a childhood dream come true.”

Twilight star Kristen Stewart cannot wait for the hype surrounding the new movie to calm down – so that she can relax at home with her pet cat.

The starlet, who plays Bella Swan in the vampire saga, has been travelling all over the world to promote the latest instalment of the Twilight series New Moon.

But at last night’s Los Angeles premiere, she revealed that she is now looking forward to being “boring” and relaxing with her moggy.

The actress, who has a Bengal cat called Jella, added: “I’m so boring. I just want to sit with my cat.”

Kings of Leon drummer Nathan Followill has gotten married with his girlfriend of three years, singer Jessie Baylin. The rest of his band mates, who just so happen to be Nathans’ brothers and cousin, were in attendance at the Brentwood, Tennessee ceremony. Scarlett Johansson, who went to high school with the blushing bride, was also there. The actress’ hubby Ryan Reynolds wasn’t present though. I wonder where he was. I doubt Scarlett’s invite didn’t have a “plus one” option. On Sunday, Nathan went on his Twitter and said “I woke up with a married woman in my bed this morning. Luckily she was mine.” Congratulations!
