Rachelle Lefevre ‘too emotional’ to attend New Moon premiere after being fired
Twilight star Rachelle Lefevre said she was ‘too emotional’ to attend the New Moon premiere after she was fired from the film saga.
Lefevre, 30, played evil vampire Victoria in the first and second movies Twilight and New Moon but was replaced by actress Bryce Dallas Howard in the third movie Eclipse.
Talking about her absence from the recent New Moon premiere, she said it was partly to do with her dog Honey being in hospital and partly to do with her sacking.
She wrote on Twitter: “2 fans at the premiere: w/ Honey in hospital & being fired from Eclipse tonight was just 2 emotional 4 me & I couldn’t manage it. So sorry.”
