Leighton Meester’s album still coming
Tuesday, December 8th, 2009The Gossip Girl star who is apparently trying to make something out of her musical career has revealed in a recent interview that she is still writing her album so fans or potential fans need not worry. This is what Leighton Meester said in the interview: “You know, it’s weird — I’m still writing. I’m about to start a movie that’s all about country music, so I’m definitely trying to keep them separated ’cause I really am starting to grasp a hold of that and I really love it…I’m thinking maybe sometime in February or March just so that I have a really good time doing the movie and finishing up Gossip Girl, and then I’ll have a little bit of time to tour and really get into it and do a live show.” You have to love these multi-functional artists. Hopefully Leighton Meester’s musical career won’t just turn out to be a dead end… it would be a terrible waste of potential.
