Jon Gosselin, the troubled reality TV star whose warring with his wife ended in a semi-amicable divorce last year, may be emerging from his financial troubles.
A US report claims the former star of Jon & Kate Plus 8 with ex, Kate Gosselin, can breathe a sigh of relief following the settlement of his dispute with the network of the show, TLC.
Fox411 said a source noted Gosselin can be sure that TLC “will not be suing him for every penny he has made over the last few months”.
Gosselin was seen spending time with his eight children at the family home in Pennsylvania in photos that surfaced over the weekend. Fox reports that if Gosselin now agrees to allow filming of the kids for the show to resume, he could earn a “small income”.
Gosselin has been to hell and highwater since the marital split, becoming embroiled in dramas with women that were played out in tabloid and entertainment media. Friends and former colleagues are said to be deserting him. He claimed one of his girlfriends was behind a break-in at his Manhattan apartment that authorities suspect was a hoax.
A source told Fox411: “Jon is feeling very relieved right now. He didn’t have anywhere near the money that TLC could have demanded for his breach of contract, so their negotiations worked out for him.”
Details of the revamped version of Jon & Kate – without Jon – have not been revealed. But a source said: “It will be different from Jon & Kate Plus 8. The kids may be off camera, they will be filmed less and talked about more to fill in story lines. There will be no exploitation, but the kids have truly missed the camera crew and Kate would love to reunite them all.”
It seems that the infamous singer has taken once more to haunting the ethereal mists of twitter. This time Courtney Love thought it fit to discuss her latest cat-fight with Lily Allen at the NME Awards. Alice In Wonderland star Johnny Depp injured himself on the set of the new movie by doing the Futterwack.
The 46-year-old actor plays the role of the Mad Hatter in Tim Burton’s adaptation of the classic tale.
Burton, 51, revealed that Depp injured himself by doing the Futterwack, a dance craze inspired by author Lewis Carroll’s book.
He told EXTRA: “The doctor said he can’t Futterwack for three months. And I only Futterwack in the privacy of my own home. You know, like a singer or dancer. I do it privately.”
Depp added: “I’m itching to Futterwack. Just don’t have it in me today.”

Tiger Woods’ wife Elin Nordegren flat-out refused to pose for a happy family portrait with the shamed golfer the night before his grovelling public apology.
According to a report, the disgraced sports champion was put firmly in his place by the ex-model after he arranged a photoshoot in a desperate attempt to repair their shattered marriage.
It is reported that the fallen PGA star wanted his Swedish wife and their two children – two-year-old Sam and Charlie, 18 months – to get together for the family photo on Thursday night.
But his hopes were dashed when Elin, who had also refused to stand by his side in a show of solidarity during Friday’s televised speech, ordered him to cancel it.
“She was angry,” a source said. “And she told him absolutely no way.”
Love-cheat Tiger, 34, tried to convince Elin and the pair reportedly had a brief argument.
“He’s desperately trying to save his marriage and repair his image,” the source added.
“He’s made some progress with Elin. She hasn’t filed for divorce yet. But she also hasn’t slept with him or even in the same house with him up until they left.”
The troubled couple and their children boarded a private jet to Arizona from their Orlando, Florida, home on Saturday night.
As well as saying sorry for his sex scandal, Tiger also revealed immediate plans to continue rehab for his sex addiction. It is not clear where he is being treated.
The source added: “She flew out with him but if he makes her angry, she’ll come right home.”
Paris Hilton had a fight with boyfriend Doug Reinhardt at her birthday party over her ex Brandon Davis, according to US reports.
Hilton and her lover got dramatic at the socialite’s 29th birthday party at Team Room in LA last week, according to the New York Post.
And witnesses claim the fight involved Davis – who Reinhardt eventually had thrown out.
“One minute, Paris and Doug were looking all loved up, the next minute, they started bickering,” one witness said. “Paris started to pout and gave him some girly punches in the back before storming off.

Paltrow, 37, has been working with Anderson for some time and the trainer has leant her tips to the latest edition of the actress’ GOOP newsletter.

Mad Men actress Christina Hendricks says she doesn’t know why her body is such a big issue.
The 34-year-old actress said: “It might sound silly, but I didn’t realise I was so different.
“I was just oblivious. Sometimes, I would go on an audition and someone would say something like: ‘Girl, you’re refreshing!’ That was it.”
Hendricks’ figure has got lots of attention since the success of Mad Men, the 1960s-based US TV show, in which she plays secretary Joan Holloway.
But the actress says she wasn’t that comfortable with the comments about her body, even if they were complimentary.
“It kind of hurt my feelings at first. Anytime someone talks about your figure constantly, you get nervous, you get really self-conscious.

Sandra Bullock has admitted a Valentine’s Day mishap when she managed to burn her pubic hair.
The Blind Side actress, married to motorcycle enthusiast Jesse James, recently said she was horrified when her special Valentine’s Day grooming efforts went wrong.
Bullock explained: “I decided for Valentine’s Day I would do a special hair thing. I wanted to try to create a pink heart shape with my lower hair. It was painful.
“You had to bleach it first. There’s something about bleach that feels like acid. Then I had to shave it. I was in so much pain, but I kept going and put the pink dye on and it went the wrong colour.”
Bullock also had another colour nightmare when she went blonde for her role in The Blind Side – her husband Jesse hated it.
She told OK! Magazine: “There is a very important person in my life who just didn’t want me being blonde – thank God.

Movie hunk Gerard Butler insisted he and Jennifer Aniston are “just friends”.
The actor was linked to the Friends star during the shoot of their film The Bounty Hunter and was recently pictured at her birthday celebrations in Mexico.
But Butler, who is in Brazil for the Carnival, told the local press there the stories are not true.
He reportedly told local gossip website Ego: “We are just friends. We are going to release a film together in March.”
