The singer and actress is apparently giving up on her long-time show and career-maker character, Hannah Montana, in order to pursue her musical career more fervently. This is what Miley Cyrus said on the matter: “I won’t have this mold they want me to fit into. I can just be who I want to be. When I was 12 I thought, ‘I want to be famous all the time. I want everybody to recognize me.’ But as I’ve grown into Hannah Montana I’ve also grown out of her. I’m going to rejoice and be happy to finally not have to be somebody I’m not. Now that I’m older, people can say what they want and I’m like, ‘Whatever.’” Sure, now Miley Cyrus can turn into the pop princess she always wanted to be… which is so absolutely different from Hannah Montana.

Leonardo DiCaprio’s girlfriend Bar Refaeli has said her short split with the actor has made their relationship stronger.

Refaeli, 24, had dated the 35-year-old Shutter Island star for two years before they split for six months but got back together in December last year.

The Israeli model admitted that she went out with a few different guys but nothing stuck.

She said: “It was fun. I tried going out with this one and I tried going out with that one. I met men of the world.”

Refaeli added: “I told people: ‘Just so you know, I don’t have much to give right now.’ But at the same time I felt a little bad because I thought: ‘When will this end?’

“I hoped that one day I would be able to give myself again to someone.”

Refaeli added that the short split meant she got some time to herself and realised a lot of things.

She said to Israeli magazine L’isha: “I worked on myself – I grew up. I got my girlfriends back. From a very young age, I have always had a boyfriend and I didn’t know what it was like to be inside my own skin.

“Today I know that a relationship can work only if you know you can be alone and you are not afraid. Now I’m not afraid of being alone.”

Carrie Underwood has recently admitted that she get panic attacks from crowds. Add that to the fact that she’s a world renowned country singer and you know it’s not a good mix. To alleviate some of her anxiety from crowded places, the American Idol alum does her food shopping late at night to avoid the hustle and bustle of the grocery store. Carrie said “I’m horrible in crowds. I just get so nervous… I don’t like shopping in close quarters. I just cannot do that. I wash the make-up off… and I’m in a ponytail, glasses, my sweatpants. People won’t tell me, ‘Are you Carrie Underwood?’ They’ll say, ‘Wow, you look like Carrie Underwood.’”

Gabourey Sidibe, an Oscar nominee, failed to make the cover of American fashion bible Vogue.

The large-sized star of Precious: Based On The Novel Push By Sapphire reportedly did not pass muster for Vogue.

Showbiz Spy reports Sidibe was told she was too large to appear on the cover. A source said: “She’s a joke in the fashion community. What she wore on the red carpet at the Academy Awards wasn’t a dress, it was a tent. Vogue is the venue where designers debut their best new pieces. All of which are one of a kind and sample size. It would be impossible to get a regular-sized girl in those clothes, let alone Gabby.”

Sidibe, 26, who will appear on The Big C, has drawn a backlash of negative criticism over her actual career prospects and her size since the Academy Awards.
