Josh Duhamel was gobsmacked when he was a giant billboard for his new film Live As We Know featuring himself in his underwear. “I was taking my wife to the screening of it and we were on our way there, and we saw it. I was like, ‘Oh my God! There it is!’” Duhamel said. The 37-year-old star says he is OK with being seen in his jockey shorts, but he’s not sure how flattering they are. “I didn’t feel like it was like a gratuitous underwear shot. I look like a grandpa in my underwear. If anything, it’s like the opposite of sexy so I thought it was sort of fun,” he told Access Hollywood. “My package never looked so huge,” he joked. “On a 14-storey building it’s at least three stories,” his co-star Katherine Heigl quipped.

The 25-year old singer joined guest host Amy Poehler and former cast member Maya Rudolph in a ‘Bronx Beat’ sketch. Katy played a teenager who caused some hullabaloo with her new figure after maturing over the summer. Amy and Maya’s characters said “Honey, you’ve exploded! Kaboom! Looks like this show is brought to you by the number 38 and the letter double D.” This all stems from Katy filming a video for Sesame Street but will not be included in a special New Year’s episode of the show after parents complained that her outfit was too risque for preschoolers.

The 29-year-old told US entertainment show Extra: “I am having some Kim time, I’m finding it so hard to have a relationship and a career at the same time.” Meanwhile Kardashian says she was constantly hounded by paparazzi while on her recent European promotional trip with her mother Kris Jenner. She added: “We were in Paris and we come out of the hotel there would be like so many fans, so much paparazzi and the guy at the Ritz said he had have never seen it like this since Princess Diana.”

Twilight star Kellan Lutz said he wants his character Emmett to be laughing during the big birth scene in Breaking Dawn. Lutz, 25, will reprise his role as Emmett Cullen when the final movie starts shooting next month. The final film, which is being split into two parts, will see the bloody birth of Edward and Bella’s daughter Renesmee and Lutz said he’s looking forward to it. He said to E! online: “I love the way that they’re showing it. I really thought that was going to be really a tough thing to show.” He added: “I think they should show it and have Emmett in the background laughing.” The actor added that shooting will begin next month. He said: “We start sometime in October and go all the way through to late April. I just did a [wardrobe fitting] and a contact lenses test.”

Despite being a multi millionaire athlete, Serena Williams said she has been training in Florida and Los Angeles and has already logged in 200 of the 600 hours she needs to qualify as a nail technician. “Really, when they told me about this I thought this was a joke,” said Winfrey as she introduced the segment. But, as she worked on the talk show host’s feet, Williams explained: “When I was younger I was always obsessed with nails “It kind of relaxes me. I’m always watching TV and kind of wasting time not doing much. “So I joked with my sister and I said I’m going to nail school, the whole nines, and nobody believed me.” “I do nails for my mum,” she added. “I do it for Venus, but she never sits still!”

Russell, 34, and husband Shane Deary have a three-year-old son River together and she is making her return to TV starring opposite Will Arnett in new comedy Running Wilde. She said to Parade.com: “Any time you’re working and have kids, I think it’s hard. My little guy’s first week of preschool was last week, and of course I want to be there for that. “I never imagined that I wouldn’t be walking him to school. Luckily, I didn’t have to go into work that day until the afternoon, so I got to drop him off at least and then my husband picked him up. “But of course it’s hard. But it’s hard for my lawyer friends and advertising friends, too. You just have to make time. During the weekends, I try to do less friends stuff and try to be there to make dinner and be there for breakfast time. “And he does come visit me on set, and the great thing about this show is that Will and Amy [Poehler] have two little guys, too. So we’ve gotten them together already to play.”

Actress Rooney Mara has not been injured on the set of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, a rep has said. Reports had circulated that Mara, who plays Lisbeth Salander in the Hollywood adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s novel, had been ‘severely injured’ during filming in Sweden for the movie. But a rep for Sony told GossipCop the story is a ‘complete fabrication’. The rep said that ‘there is no truth to it’ before adding that she is not injured. It has now been said that the 25-year-old hasn’t even started shooting for the flick about the search for a woman who has been missing for 40 years.

The teen star revealed at the launch of her Material Girl clothing range earlier this month that she is allowed to start dyeing her hair when she turns 14 next month. She said to UsMagazine.com: “I wouldn’t go blonde. I’d like to do a darker colour – a really dark, dark red.” The mother-daughter duo have teamed up for the new clothing collection and Madonna, 52, said she isn’t that happy about her daughter dyeing her naturally-brown hair. She said: “Once you start dyeing your hair, that’s it. You have to keep dyeing it.”

Jennifer Grey can still feel Patrick Swayze’s spirit, the Dirty Dancing star claims. Patrick is the only person I’ve ever actually danced with with before Derek Hough, so it’s a pretty intense sense memory.” The 50-year-old actress also said that she was very moved to receive a message of support from Swayze’s widow Lisa Niemi “She actually sent me an e-mail last week saying that she’s rooting for me and thinking about me,” Grey explained.
