Daniel Radcliffe is set to put in a guest appearance on The Simpsons. The 21-year-old Harry Potter star will feature in a Halloween episode of the long-running animated series, taking on the part of a teen vampire, in the spoof episode Tweenlight. In the episode, Lisa falls for a new student who is a vampire and his father is Count Dracula, before Homer comes to her rescue, The Mirror reports. According to Simpsons’ producer Al Jean, Radcliffe was very excited about taking part in the show. The episode will go to air in November in the US.

Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough gave a repeat performance of the tango that scored them the first tens of the season on Dancing With The Stars. The pair was asked Tuesday to repeat the high scoring tango that left judges marvelling on Monday night and dishing out the first 10s of the season. The routine got a standing ovation from the audience on the results show. “Jennifer and Derek even better than last time if that’s possible!” said host Tom Bergeron. They were amongst the first three couples saved from the chop on Tuesday’s results show.

Bob Leone, the singer’s first manager, first met Stefani Germanotta at an open mic night when she was 13 or 14 years old. He recalls the first time he heard her sing as being “prodigy-like” and then spent 6 months in 2006 watching her transform from Stefani into Lady Gaga. Bob said “It was a very important six months because going into it, she was Stefani, and she was still writing pop music. By the end of that six month period, she was officially Lady Gaga.” After that, he took her to an artist showcase where she quickly became the hot topic. He said “She blew everyone away. Nobody talked about anything after that show but Lady Gaga. She bantered with the audience and was very funny. I never noticed that sense of humor when she was Stefani…Whenever someone asked her, ‘what is your goal?’ she would always give the same two-word answer: ‘world domination.’” Fast forward to 2010 and she’s totally done it. Reality TV star Kim Kardashian said she is not really a table dancing party girl. Kim revealed she just plays up her ‘party girl’ image for the cameras. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star told US W magazine: “I’m not a drinker, and when I’m up on the table dancing, it’s for the picture.” “Then I sit right back down, I play into the perception of me, but it’s not really me and the show reveals that.” And while the 29-year-old appears comfortable with her curvy body, she said it has taken a while to get used to it. She added: “I used to think, I have to be this or that or skinny, and now, because of the show, everyone is embracing just me, which has given me such a confidence. “Now, I’m like, ‘Why did I ever give that feeling the time of day?’ I’m so mature now, I’m a grown-up version of myself.”
Actress Lisa Rinna has hit out at people who said her recent robbery was a PR stunt. Rinna, 47, and hubby Harry Hamlin were recently in the middle of an interview on the Today show when a caller phoned in and said her LA clothing store had been robbed. However some people claimed the call was just a publicity stunt to promote their show, Harry Loves Lisa. Speaking to Extra about the claims, Rinna said: “That’s the funniest and sickest thing I’ve ever heard, but now I’ve dealt with the internet long enough for the last year that I know who sick it can be.”
Hollywood actor Mark Wahlberg said he’s not longer a ‘bad-ass’ and is now just a dad. Wahlberg, 39, who is starring in new movie The Other Guys, has been in trouble with the law in the past and he admitted people wrongly believe he is still a tough guy now. Speaking to Britain’s Empire magazine, he said: “Yeah, even today doing these photoshoots I was doing earlier. They want me to pull all these silly faces, but that’s just not me. “I can’t do that. It’s not that I think I’m too cool. Then the guy was like: ‘Okay, no problem. We can do the bad-ass look, then.’ And I’m like: ‘Well, I’m not really a bad-ass either!’ “You know, I’m a dad. I grew up in an edgy environment and had to navigate through a pretty tough world, so I was required to appear a bad-ass, but I’m past all that now.” The actor is married to model Rhea Durham and they have four children – Ella, seven, Michael, four, Brendan, two, and Grace, eight months.
Katie Holmes insists that seeing pics of herself from her Dawson’s Creek days isn’t embarrassing, in fact it’s “like looking at a yearbook”. Asked if she cringed whenever she saw images from the classic 1990s show, the 31-year-old actress told OK, “No. Oh no. It was great fun. I have fond memories. It’s like looking at a yearbook.” Katie, about to celebrate her fourth wedding anniversary to Tom Cruise, also said she’d be happy if daughter Suri, four, became an actress, saying, “it’s a beautiful career”. Talking about her daughter, Katie added, “She’s very active and competitive. She likes to say she’s the fastest one in the house and she is probably right. “We go skiing and snowboarding as a family. American Idol host Ryan Seacrest is reportedly in talks about launching a new cable network. Seacrest, 35, who also has his own radio show and is a host on E!, is said to be in talks about launching the network with talent agency CAA and entertainment company AEG. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the talks are still in the early stages but the concept of the new network would be music, pop culture and lifestyle oriented. It is thought Seacrest himself will appear on-air but it will not be called Seacrest TV as it will have its own brand.

It’s no secret that Selena Gomez has great admiration for British pop singer Cheryl Cole but I think the Disney star may have gone overboard. Selena said “My dream would be to work with Cheryl Cole – I love her, and would love to work with her. Her songs are amazing, they are so much fun. They almost remind me of a modern Britney Spears, because they’re like the new generation of Hit Me Baby One More Time. Rain On Me and Stand Up are my two favorites.” I love Cheryl as much as the next guy but I just don’t think she’s right up there with Britney just yet.
Actress Emma Stone struggled with the stress from landing the lead role in her new film Easy A so much that she turned into a ‘lunatic’. The 21-year-old may have been over the moon to get the role in the romantic comedy about a student who pretends to lose her virginity. But it seems the part proved to be quite a strain on her face. Emma told Empire magazine: “I put a large amount of pressure on myself while we were shooting it. “I was a lunatic, I broke out all over my face and turned into this crazy person but I am so insanely grateful that this happened.”

Demi Moore has revealed her shock at being labelled a “trendsetter”, insisting she doesn’t give much thought to her clothes. The 47-year-old actress has taken to wearing outfits by up-and-coming designers to give their fledgling careers a boost. She told Britain’s OK magazine: “I must say that I am amazed that I am even classed as a trendsetter. You know, it’s really nice but I sometimes feel like, wow, really? But in seriousness, when I have worn a dress by a really young designer, just by having worn their piece and being photographed in it I have actually made a difference to them, which is amazing.” The Ghost star added that her 32-year-old husband Ashton Kutcher loves her regardless of her appearance. She said: “I know that I have someone who loves me not just for who I am but all the things that I’m not. He embraces my imperfections and that gives me a greater sense of courage and ability to be a great risk-taker.”
Actress Emma Stone has joined the cast of the new Spiderman movie but will not play Mary Jane. It was recently rumoured the Stone, 21, who is starring in new flick Easy A, would be taking on the role of Kirsten Dunst’s former character Mary Jane Watson in the new film. However Columbia Pictures has now confirmed she is starring in the movie, but she will play Peter Parker’s first love interest Gwen Stacy. Matt Tolmach, Columbia Pictures President, said: “It’s been an incredible journey for us to watch Emma’s star rise as an actress. “She is extraordinarily talented and has a very special onscreen spark that is perfect for this role. Given her history with the studio, casting her in one of our most important franchises is a real thrill.”

Wedding Crashers star Rachel McAdams has been romantically linked to British actor Michael Sheen. McAdams and Sheen, who played Tony Blair in The Queen, have been spotted holding hands in Toronto, Canada, according to the New York Post. McAdams, 31, used to date Notebook co-star Ryan Gosling, while Sheen has a daughter, Lily, with ex-wife Kate Beckinsale. Since her split from Gosling, McAdams has also dated actor Owen Wilson.
