The Knight and Day star and her baseball player boyfriend A-Rod have gone from LA to Miami to Mexico in the past month, and now they are partying in Las Vegas. Alex, 35, and Cameron, 38, reportedly joined Jay-Z, Chris Martin and wife Gwyneth Paltrow for dinner yesterday at the Blue Ribbon in Las Vegas before hitting up a club into the early hours. According to GossipCop.com, they firstly went to the Marquee in the new Cosmopolitan hotel, and then attended the club Haze in the nearby Aria Resort and Casino. The couple might have to pace themselves as New Year is still several hours away.
Most celebrities tend to check in to hotels under a fake name so they could protect their privacy, and Justin Bieber is among them. The pop singer recently booked a hotel room in Miami, and according to sources, it was under the alias Chandler Bing, Matthew Perry’s old character on the hit TV show “Friends”. An insider even revealed that when the teen sensation ordered room service late one night, a hotel employee found Justin and Selena Gomez in the hallway outside of his room because they accidentally locked themselves out. I wonder if Selena checked in as Monica Geller because I sure hope they did not share a room together. Those kids better behave.
After a couple of weeks of speculation, it has finally been confirmed that Rihanna and boyfriend Matt Kemp have ended their relationship. An insider told Us Weekly “It happened over the last few weeks. “She basically was just over it. It was never as serious as it looked. It was always just [about] having fun.” Also, the LA Dodgers outfielder couldn’t keep up with the R&B singer’s crazy schedule and just wants “something more normal”. Oh well. I guess Rihanna will be partying it up in Las Vegas this weekend, where she will be hosting a New Year’s Eve bash at Pure.
Heath Ledger’s ex, Michelle Williams, has revealed she is planning to show their daughter Brokeback Mountain. The former Dawson’s Creek star hooked up with the late actor on the set of the movie in 2004, and the pair welcomed daughter Matilda in 2005. Despite having split up with Ledger before his death from an accidental prescription drug overdose in 2008, Williams said she will make sure their child gets to see the movie when she is old enough. She told Angeleno Magazine: “I was just an actor who happened to be lucky enough to be in the right place, and it was the place where I met Matilda’s father, and that is a lot. It was a lot. And it will be a lot for Matilda too, when she gets around to watching it. I will watch it with her, when she’s ready. It is hard to imagine what that would feel like, but one day, yes, we will watch it together.”
Reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian has revealed how she slimmed down after giving birth to her son. Kourtney is now the slimmest of the Kardashian sisters after losing 3st 2lb following the birth of her baby Mason a year ago. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star showed off her figure at the Kardashian Holiday Party, posing in pictures with her sisters Kim, 30 and Khloe, 26. She told US OK! magazine: “I love my new body. “They say it takes a full year to really get your body back and I believe that. I was 140lb when I gave birth and I’m 95 now. But for me it is about being a healthy mum and not being a certain weight.” The 31-year-old said she lost the weight by eating small meals every two hours and doing regular workouts. Kourtney also admitted her one-year-old son helped her to shed the pounds. She added: “I’d take him on walks when he was a baby and do squats while holding him.” But like most people the star did have her downfalls. She said: “I’ll eat Oreo Double Stufs, but I will have two instead of a whole box. And I love chips!”
Joey McIntyre has got the right stuff – to be a dad that is. The pop singer and his wife, Barrett McIntyre, are expecting their third child. The couple already has two sons, 3-year old Griffin Thomas and 1-year old Rhys. Here’s to hoping that they are having a girl this time around so Barrett can have a bit of estrogen around. With a new baby and the NKOTB and BSB tour in 2011, Joey is going to have a very busy year. I wonder if he can handle it. Either way, congratulations on having great things in your life Joey!
Jack Black has revealed that becoming a dad has encouraged him to opt for more family-friendly films. The actor was once famed for his energetic performances in High Fidelity, School of Rock and with comedy rock band Tenacious D. But the 41-year-old father of two admitted his current lead role in family film Gulliver’s Travels is more suited to his life nowadays. He told The Telegraph: “Actually, I feel pretty comfortable in family comedies. I am known for my bluer material with Tenacious D, but I can party in the family realm. And I have a family now, so I think about that stuff.”
Andrew Garfield has revealed he is “hibernating” into his Spider-Man role. The actor said that with a production time of almost half a year, the film will take up most of his life for the foreseeable future. He said of the project’s shooting schedule: “We started shooting two weeks ago and then we have Christmas off. Then we’re back into it for, gosh, a fair bit of time … I’m going to have to hibernate into this character for at least four or five months.” “I feel like a kid in my pyjamas,” he told the Guardian. “I can only say how it feels and it feels pretty special. It feels like a dream realised and a fantasy realised. Again, I don’t take it lightly and I feel incredibly lucky that I get to wear spandex for the next couple of months.” And he added that he has been working hard to perfect his Peter Parker body. “I think Spider-Man needs strength, but Peter Parker is still a teenager, you know? That’s a very tender balance to figure out. It’s very specific what we’re trying to achieve in terms of body type and the feeling of that. Rest assured, there’s a lot of people helping me with that because I have no discipline in that respect. My father’s a swimming coach and I kind of rebelled against that very early on. Any kind of exercise routine has to be cracked with a pretty firm whip.”

Bonham Carter and her 52-year-old long-term partner live in separate houses next door to each other in London, which has led to people thinking they live in an “Alice in Wonderland” style world. But she insists that the couple don’t mind these rumours circulating because it keeps an air of mystery hanging over them. The 44 year-old told British Total Film magazine: “[People] think we’re the Addams Family! But do you know what? I think all that is rather marvellous. The more myths that follow you, it’s a more protective shell around you. “You’ve got to keep the truth private – so the more c**p they write and the more sensational it is, the further it is from the truth. The couple were seen buying toys at a shopping centre in Namibia yesterday. The Tourist star and Pitt are reportedly spending part of Christmas in the African country, the birth place of Shiloh, one of their six children. And if their trolley piled high with goodies is anything to go by, looks like their kids are in for a good Christmas. Jolie and Brad recently said they were planning to escape to a ‘random part of the world’ for a festive adventure with their children.

Apparently, the guitar was just one of the smaller gifts for the young country singer because the actor also reportedly spent $100,000 on a diamond bracelet for her. A source said “It’s an Oscar-worthy bracelet – nearly 30 carats of colourless diamonds set in white gold.” According to In Touch Weekly, the bracelet was sent to Taylor earlier this month along with other gifts. The source details the other gifts, saying “They love coffee, so he sent her 21 pounds of the best Kona coffee available, along with a coffee grinder and a coffeemaker. And he made her a birthday card, as opposed to buying a generic one.” I wonder what Jake will give her for Christmas.
American soccer star Landon Donovan has filed for divorce from his wife just 10 days before their fourth wedding anniversary. The 28-year-old midfielder, who famously blew Bianca Kajlich a kiss live from the World Cup, made their split official by filing paperwork at a Los Angeles court on Tuesday. The eight-page document cites “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their marriage failing. It reveals Donovan is seeking spousal support from Bianca Kajlich, an actress on US TV show Rules of Engagement. The footballer is also requesting she put up the cash to cover legal fees. Kajlich and Donovan, who plays for US soccer club LA Galaxy, married on New Year’s Eve 2006 at the Bacara Resort in Santa Barbara, California. Donovan’s divorce papers state that the couple have not yet decided how to split their property. Bianca Kajlich has 30 days to resond to the filing.
Mad Men beauty Christina Hendricks showed off her amazing skills in the kitchen while pitching to be cast as Wonder Woman. The curvy actress, 35, showed chat show host and cook Rachael Ray that she’s a natural in the kitchen. She whipped up a Tuscan Kale Caesar Salad, bacon soup and – fitting for a Mad Men star – a whisky cocktail. And she showed she has a hearty disregard for calories, proudly saying her salad dressing had cheese and eggs. Asked what makes her soup so good, she boasted, “Well, it starts with bacon which is always a good start.” Christina also used the show to put in a pitch to play Wonder Woman, insisting rumours that she has been offered it are sadly so far untrue. “I just heard that rumour too. I don’t know where it got started but I love it,” she laughed. “I’ve been wanting to wear that outfit my whole life. “I’d love to do it. That would be such fun. Let’s put it out there.” Ray also showed Christina the doll based on her Mad Men character Joan which the actress called “so surreal” to see.
Shakira recently published her first children’s book, called “World School Day Adventure”, as part of the “Dora the Explorer” series. The story follows Dora and her companion Boots as they deliver school supplies to those in need. The Latin pop singer says she wants “the children from all over the world to know that through knowledge and education, one can embark on great adventures. Dora is an inspiration for all children in the world. It was an honor working with Nickelodeon to write this story as education is a cause very close to my heart.” A percentage of the book’s sales will go to Shakira’s Pies Descalzos Foundation, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating children.
Kate Moss is considering opening a modelling school. The 36-year-old supermodel wants to share some of her expert knowledge with aspiring stars to help them strike a pose. She told Company magazine, “I think I could definitely open a modelling school. “Kate’s Modelling School? Moss’s Models? Put Moss’s Models down. You need to see it as a skill. I mean, you can be the most intelligent person in the world, but it won’t make you a good teacher. “It honestly can be very humiliating. It’s not just like, ‘Hold your left leg in your hand’. “I guess you need to have an eye for art.”
Avatar star Sam Worthington has confirmed James Cameron is currently working on a sequel to the hit 2009 movie. The Australian actor played the role of Jake Sully in the movie that broke box-office records opposite Zoe Saldana and Sigourney Weaver. Speaking to the Moviefone blog, he said: “We’ve been discussing that with Jim. He had some ideas he told us while we were filming, which were really cool and out there. “At the moment, he’s still writing what he calls The Bible and detailing the world. “Once he’s detailed the world – more so than it’s already detailed in his big brain, anyway – then he said he can write the script and we can go explore the world – things like going underwater – going in the floating mountains.”
Vince Vaughn has become a daddy. The 40-year-old actor and his wife Kyla Weber welcomed baby daughter Locklyn Kyla Vaughn on Saturday. According to People, their first-born was born at a hospital in Chicago and weighed in at 7lbs. A friend of the couple told the magazine, “Both of them couldn’t be happier to welcome their sweet little girl into their family.” Vaughn and Canadian real estate agent Weber tied the knot in January.
Owen Wilson has told how his brother survived a shark attack. The actor said older sibling Andrew was bitten while out surfing with pals in Hawaii earlier this month. But doctors said he was more at risk of injury from the makeshift emergency bandage his pals made using a mobile phone cord. Owen, 42, said: “Just the other day I was sending a message to Andrew about some guy coming by to take a look at the TV. “He sent back [a message saying], ‘Sounds good, I was bitten by a shark so I won’t be there.’ “And he literally was bitten by a shark on his right foot. Can you imagine swimming and then feeling something clamp down and pull? “He was OK, he had to get some stitches. Actually, the paramedics who came said he was more at danger [because his friends] had tied a BlackBerry cord around his ankle, cutting off the circulation on his foot.”
Levi Johnston’s ex-girlfriend Bristol Palin is thrilled he has a new girlfriend. Johnston’s new love Sunny Oglesby made things official by changing her Facebook status to “in a relationship”. And Dancing With The Stars sensation Palin insists she is thrilled – because the new relationship appears to have had a positive impact on Johnston’s parental responsibilities to their son Tripp. “I have to be happy for Levi’s new relationship because it sounds like his new girlfriend is influencing him to want to actually spend time with Tripp,” Bristol insisted. “I sincerely appreciate her influence because [Levi] hasn’t asked to see Tripp in over five months.”
Remember Crystal Bowersox? Remember how she almost won last year’s American Idol? Well, that didn’t really stop her from getting a career and releasing her very first album, “Farmer’s Daughter”, just a few days ago that comes with a music video too. The song itself is a pretty nifty little country rock piece that deals with an unfortunate situation of domestic abuse. Even though it’s not really as dramatic as it probably should be, Crystal Bowersox does manage to get her point across. The video itself consists of Crystal Bowersox playing the guitar and an underlining story of a little girl facing up to a pretty harsh reality. All in all, it’s not bad for a start, especially considering that there’s a bit more to it than just nonsense pop music and lyrics. It seems that Crystal Bowersox is not really a product of American Idol… or at least, not yet.
