Taylor Swift at ACMAs

Rising country superstar Taylor Swift attended the 2008 Academy of Country Music Awards which was held at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas on Sunday. At the ceremony, the 18-year old sang ‘Should Have Said No’ as she got drenched in water and brought the house down. She said of the song “I wrote this song by myself, and it literally took me just 20 minutes to write before we recorded it. I was living every line in this song at the time. I wrote this song about a guy who cheated on me who shouldn’t have.” Taylor won the award for Top New Female Vocalist and dedicated her ACM trophy to her mother.
