Matthew Morrison to Direct Glee

Friday, October 14th, 2011

Matthew Morrison will be making his directorial debut on the hit Fox TV show’s eight episode this season. The actor broke the news recently during an acoustic set and Q&A at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles for its Spotlight series. There’s no word on the plot line for the episode but the episode that Matthew will direct is going to air some time in November. I wonder what the story for that episode will be and what kind of treatment he’s going to do for it. In any case, good luck to Matthew! He’s directing friends and family so it should come easy to him at least.

Mila Kunis credits her family for keeping her grounded

Mila_Kunis.jpg

Actress Mila Kunis has said that she has always managed to stay grounded in Hollywood because she is surrounded by supportive family and friends. The 27-year-old says having a breakdown was never an ‘option’ for her. Mila told British Glamour magazine: “There was never an option for me to go into a downward spiral because my parents are incredible people. I went to work, I went home, my friends weren’t in the industry. My best friend has been my best friend since I was nine years old. So I never thought of myself as anything other than a 15-, 16-, 17-year-old. What I do and who I am are not the same person. “But sure, you can get lost in it. And it’s less to do with the job and more to do with the world. This industry can eat you alive.” Kunis also added that she will never let her career take over her life. The Friends with Benefits star added: “No one’s curing cancer in this industry, remember? It’s not changing the world. It’s just entertainment, an art form of escapism. My friends and family are my number one thing in life, but you need a healthy balance.”

TV beauty Brooke Burke has reportedly tied the knot with long-time beau David Charvet while on holiday in St Barts. People.com reports that the couple, who have two children, got married on the idyllic island on Friday following a five-year engagement. Stunning Burke, who hosts ABC’s Dancing With The Stars, was photographed in a bikini enjoying the beach with her family during the trip. The morning after the reported nuptials, the 39-year-old hinted at her happy news. She tweeted: “Morning tweeties. Waiting for LA to wake up….big news to share.” The couple are parents to son Shaya, 3, and daughter Rain, 4, while Burke also has daughters Sierra, 9 and Neriah, 11, from her previous marriage to Garth Fisher. So why have the couple married now after the long engagement? “We started talking about why to do it at this point in our relationship,” Burke blogged last year. “‘Do you want forever?’ David asked. ‘Yes, I need forever,’ I said. It was just that simple. I would like to have a husband.”

Justin Timberlake Admits to Getting High with Co-Stars

Friday, July 8th, 2011
Justin Timberlake recently admitted to having quite a love for smoking marijuana and apparently, the singer/actor and his “Friends with Benefits” co-stars Mila Kunis and Woody Harrelson got all sorts of blazed together during production of the movie. Justin recently revealed in an interview “Everybody wants to know: ‘Did you smoke pot with Woody?’ We did! He gets the most gut-busting laughs.” I’m actually willing to bet that they spent more time being stoned on set that they did sober. That’s the only way I can explain how they got through making a carbon copy of a movie that was already released.

Josh Hopkins denies he is dating Courteney Cox

spl262681_035.jpg

Josh Hopkins has dismissed reports that his holiday to St Barts with Courteney Cox was a romantic getaway. The Cougar Town co-stars were recently pictured on the beach together, but Cox and her estranged husband David Arquette were both quick to set the record straight. Now Hopkins has told Access Hollywood Live: “I would admit, if I saw that [photo] somewhere, [I'd think] those two must be dating. They’re in St Barts. I get it. “But the way it happened [Courteney] said, ‘I want to go to the beach. You should come with me to St Barts.’ I was like I don’t know. And then the creator [of Cougar Town] Bill Lawrence said, ‘If I could go anywhere, I’d go to St Barts.’ So I said, this sounds great! Let’s do it. “There were a lot of people with us. But the only ones you seethey just frame us two. So it’s a story. And it’s not true.” “It’s not like I’m so upset about it,” he added. “I mean, she’s really hot. But it’s just not true.”

For protein. Why am I eating this broccoli? For vitamins and fibre. Why am I eating this Ho Ho?’” And over-eating wasn’t the only lifestyle change Chris made. It was Russell and me, right behind him, on all fours. “We did it over and over again, so I spent two days just right up against it. Actor Topher Grace has called his female co-stars in hit movie Valentine’s Day “the hottest girls in the world”. Talking about the 2010 film, which also starred Oscars host Anne Hathaway, Julia Roberts, Jessica Alba, Jennifer Garner and Jessica Biel, he said: “That was the best press junket ever. It was me and all the hottest girls in the world. Except for Emily Blunt, who is the other hottest girl in the world.” In an interview with US daytime TV show, Live With Regis And Kelly, the 32-year-old Predators star also revealed that veteran Hollywood star Shirley MacLaine didn’t know who he was — even though they appeared in Valentine’s Day together. After describing how the 76-year-old actress had no idea who he was when they first met, Grace admitted that she was none the wiser after they had finished filming the movie. “I saw her at the premiere and she said, ‘Hello, great to meet you’. So I don’t know what that was all about. I wasn’t memorable enough, that’s my fault,” he joked. The former That ’70s Show star is currently starring in and producing new movie Take Me Home Tonight, with Anna Faris and Tony Award winner Dan Fogler.

Matt Damon and Emily Blunt reveal screen kiss was ‘very, very, awkward’

Friday, February 25th, 2011

emilyblunt.jpg

Matt Damon and Emily Blunt revealed that their seven-second screen kiss was ‘very, very, very, very uncomfortable’. Speaking on US morning TV programme, The Today Show, veteran actor Matt, 40, said: “By the time we shot that scene, it was really one of the last things we shot and we were really great friends and our spouses were really great friends and it was very, very, very, awkward.” The Bourne star and British actress Emily, 28, got into fits of giggles talking about their new film, The Adjustment Bureau. The Oscar-winning Good Will Hunting actor has been in 50 films but never had a romantic lead role until now. Speaking of the cringe-worthy smooch he said: “John Toll, the great cinematographer and also a friend of ours, he was shooting the film and he was equally uncomfortable. He was saying ‘guys it’s only seven seconds, can you just give me seven seconds?’” The Devil Wears Prada star Emily, described how she had to train hard for her part as a dancer. “It was the most demanding thing, physically that I have done,” she said, looking at her co-star. Matt said that his time on set was a little bit more relaxed: “I was not much encouragement because I was by the craft service table eating Ring Dings [cakes] just looking at her going ‘wow that looks tough’.” The Adjustment Bureau opens in the US on March 4th.

Thursday, February 3rd, 2011

christianbale.jpg

Christian Bale has admitted that be finds the whole concept of stardom ‘embarrassing’. The 37-year-old Fighter star said that he realises that his job comes with more perks than most. He told The Mirror: “It’s embarrassing to be a star. Most people look at you like, ‘That’s not a f**king job, is it?’ “I have a very sissy job where I go to work and get my hair done, and people do my make-up, and I say lines and people spoil me rotten.” He went on to explain why he doesn’t like doing interviews. “I don’t want people to know me because that [messes] up my job,” he said. “If you know about somebody it gets in the way of watching the guy as a character. “I have to admit that it’s contradictory that I like being invisible. ‘A f**king actor who says he wants to be invisible? Oh yeah, good choice, mate!’”

Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig to co-star in James Bond?

Thursday, January 20th, 2011

James Bond film-makers reportedly want Daniel Craig’s new lover Rachel Weisz to star alongside him in the next instalment of the franchise. According to The Sun, rather than being set to play a Bond girl, the 40-year-old actress is up for a role as the spy’s arch. An insider told the newspaper, “Casting Rachel was going to be a surprise twist as everyone would assume she’d be a Bond girl when really she would play a villain. But the fly in the ointment is that they are now dating.” The couple were spotted enjoying a winter break together after both split for their respective partners late last year.
