Robert Pattinson shocked viewers as he dropped the F-word live on TV

Monday, June 6th, 2011

Robert Pattinson shocked viewers as he dropped the F-word live on TV. The Twilight Saga actor seemed at pains to show his edgier side as he took to the stage various times to pick up awards and introduce segments at the MTV Movie Awards. Having already won Best Actor and Best Actress awards, Pattinson and co-star Kristen Stewart got on stage to accept the Best Kiss gong. As the audience shouted for them to kiss on stage, Pattinson said there was someone else who would ‘appreciate’ it a little more. To gasps and laughter, he walked over to co-star Taylor Lautner in the audience and pretended to passionately make-out. Things then got even edgier as Pattinson got on stage to pay tribute to Reece Witherspoon as she was about to pick up the Generation Award. Looking very uncomfortable, despite the use of notes, he told how his very first film Vanity Fair was also with Witherspoon — who played his mother. Speaking to the actress, he said: “What I later learned though is you were directly responsible for cutting my part of the movie out.” Referring to their romantic pairing on Water for Elephants he then added, to gasps from Witherspoon and the audience: “This time you played my lover. I didn’t cut it out but I did f*** you.” He then said it is not a bad thing to have ‘sexual chemistry’ with your mother. Various swear words throughout the broadcast, which had a slight time-delay, were muted out — but his made it through.

Taylor Swift Dumped by Phone

Friday, January 14th, 2011

It seems that Taylor Swift was dumped over the phone once again. According to US Weekly, the country singer was blindsided by Jake Gyllenhaal’s sudden ending of their relationship. Sources say that Taylor was really feeling it because she wasn’t herself at the People’s Choice Awards last week. An insider said “She was not her usual bubbly, over-animated self. She didn’t eat anything, seemed very sad and definitely wasn’t having a good time. Taylor found Selena and said to her, ‘It’s so good to see you. I need a friend tonight.’” If anything, she can get another hit song off of this experience.

Emma Stone says her nomination is ‘insane’

Wednesday, December 15th, 2010

emmastone.jpg

Actress Emma Stone thinks it is ‘surreal’ that she has been nominated for a Golden Globe along with Hollywood stars such as Angelina Jolie. Stone never thought she would see her name been read along with big names such as Julianne Moore and Jolie when the Golden Globe nominations were announced yesterday. The 22-year-old told People.com: “Let’s just be honest, that’s pretty surreal. “I don’t know what I’m going to do when I see her in person. I’m going to freak out when I see anybody in person.” Emma has been nominated for her role in film Easy A, and said she felt emotional after hearing the news. She said: “It’s insane! I’m still coming to realisation that I got nominated. “I’m in the state of ‘Oh, My God!’ My mum and dad called and they were on speakerphone and said, ‘We’re proud of you,’ and that was the best. I teared up.” The star is hoping to bring her mother as her date to the ceremony.

TV REALITY STARS SHOWDOWN

Friday, September 12th, 2008

Things are heating up in the emmys!

A reality TV design star and one trying hard reality TV star turned wannabe designer will be creating gowns for this month’s Emmy Awards.

Lauren Conrad and Project Runway winner Christian Siriano will be showing their stuff on September 21st.

I just wonder if LC can actually produce the clothes herself or if she’ll get some professional help to do it?

Both Siriano and Conrad will be designing gowns for the “trophy girls”.

In an official statement, Christian says, “It has been so inspiring watching the Emmys every year to see who is going to be the most fabulous diva at the show. … It will be such an experience seeing my own creation on stage.”

What makes this more interesting is the not not-so-nice words to say about Conrad and her Hills “designer” friends.
Siriano said, “I mean, it’s fun and flirty and young, but they’re not innovators. None of them will ever be an innovative designer. Buyers and editors are looking for longevity, and hopefully they will see that in me.”
I ACTUALLY BELIEVE HIM! BECAUSE IT’S TRUE! Plus the fact that they’re not really talented at designing clothes the way Siriano is.

Team CHRISTIAN ALL THE WAY!

Miley Cyrus Wins Kids Choice Awards

Monday, March 31st, 2008

miley-cyrus-nickelodeon.jpg
One of the most exciting parts of the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards is the dumping of their signature green slime on celebs.  Miley Cyrus begged not to have the goo poured on her as she accepted her award.

Miley was presented with the awards for Favorite Female Singer and Favorite TV Actress.  She told the crowd, “I don’t want to get slimed but I am glad to be here.”  So, instead, the stuff was dumped on Harrison Ford, who presented the award for Favorite Voice for an Animated Movie.  He joined a list of slimed celebs which includes Justin Timberlake, Nicole Kidman, and Johnny Depp.

Also slimed Saturday night was Jack Black and Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando Bloom.

Kate Nash bored of celebrity

Friday, March 14th, 2008

kate-nash-photo.jpg
Kate Nash hates being a celebrity.

The 20-year-old British singer, who was catapulted into the limelight by the phenomenal success of hit single ‘Foundations’ and debut album ‘Made of Bricks’, loves being a musician but feels embarrassed by the accompanying fame.

She said: “I can’t knock it really – I’ve chosen to be a musician because I love it. But I feel really uncomfortable with the whole ‘showbiz party’ thing. It’s just not my scene and it can be intimidating.

“I’ll be in a room full of people name-dropping and schmoozing and I think, ‘This is doing my head in.’ I feel embarrassed when people are impressed by it all, especially when they’re older than me. It’s easy to get sucked in. But I’m learning to cope with it and I constantly remind myself that it’s not real.”

Kate Nash – who was named Best British Female at this year’s BRIT Awards – insists she stays grounded by seeing her family and close friends as much as possible.

She added: “I love sitting at home, watching ‘The Simpsons’ and bickering with my friends and my sisters. I love the excitement of being away on tour, but getting back home helps me hold onto normality. I often sit around wishing I was down the pub with my friends, talking about things that inspire me.”

Rumer Willis Is Miss Golden Globe

Saturday, November 17th, 2007

The 65th annual Golden Globe awards are right around the corner and the Hollywood Foreign Press announced that Rumer Willis has been chosen as Miss Golden Globe. La Chat, Rumer Willis is the daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis. So, she’s inherited her father’s chin. Who cares? At least she isn’t a druggie or an alcoholic or anorexic or bulimic or any other crap people bitch about on here. I think though she isn’t exactly a super celebrity or anything near to it, she is the right candidate because she has never been associated with drugs and other messed up instances like the other young celebrity children have. This stance certainly proves that if even you aren’t a maniac there are people who notice you because you have managed to keep clean and sober, which is a rarity these days. I guess it pays to live in the shadow of famous parents

2007 MTV VMA’s Worst Dressed People

Tuesday, September 11th, 2007

Obviously the worst dressed star on the carpet was Lil Mama. I don’t know if she was trying to look like Little Bo Peep or a space Martian but it was wrong all around. Beyonce looked like a gold statue of liberty, that dress was really unflattering for her curvaceous figure. Shanna Moakler looked like she stole her grandmother’s curtain and had a dress made. What’s with the pigeons? What has happened to the dressing sense of these girls, Beyonce is such a beautiful lady and her curvy body is the talk of many hot chat sessions but I think she just couldn’t find anything this time to match her looks, so much so for designer dresses and cosmetics. Again coming back to Lil Mama, Ugly yeah, haha. I hate criticizing but what the hell is that Lil Mama? Maybe it was a dare for a LOT of money? Instead of coming to the VMAs she should have gone to a fancy dress competition probably then she could have justified such a stupid dress.

‘Pirates,’ Sophia Bush top Teen Awards

Tuesday, August 28th, 2007

“Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End” dominated the seventh-annual Teen Choice Awards Sunday, taking honors for Choice Movie: Action Adventure.

The movie’s stars Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley and Bill Nighy also took home awards.

“High School Musical 2″ also scored with Choice TV: Movie, as did two of its stars. Zac Efron was dubbed “Choice Male Hottie” and Vanessa Hudgens “Choice Music Breakout Artist: Female.”

The Disney Channel movie’s presence was felt early in the show, which opened with a 50th-reunion spoof, replacing the youthful cast members with senior citizens.

Even “Choice Comedian” Dane Cook thanked the “HSM2″ team, joking, “I couldn’t have done this without you.”

Sophia Bush was the night’s biggest competitive individual-category winner, scoring three awards: Choice Movie Breakout: Female, Choice Movie Actress: Horror/Thriller for “The Hitcher” and Choice Movie Actress: Comedy for “John Tucker Must Die.”

Justin Timberlake also scored multiple honors. He won for Choice Music: Male Artist, Choice Music: Payback Track for “What Goes Around . . ..,” and was honored with a special, Teen Choice answer to a lifetime-achievement award, “Ultimate Choice.”

For all of the show’s celebration of youth, it was 53-year-old John Travolta who seemed to cause the biggest stir with the 6,000-plus member audience, generating screams and a standing ovation as he walked to the stage to accept the Choice Summer Movie: Comedy/Musical for “Hairspray.”

Hosted by one-time kid stars Hilary Duff and Nick Cannon, the show was telecast by Fox Sunday night from the Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal Studios Hollywood, with awards doled out at lightning speed.
