Mila Kunis was the dream date as she made good on her promise to attend a Marine Corps Ball. The Black Swan star accompanied Sgt Scott Moore to the black tie ball in Greenville, North Carolina, on Friday night. Moore, 28, invited Kunis to the event back in July in a YouTube video made while on combat deployment in Afghanistan. “Everything went well. It was a great experience for everybody,” said Marine spokesman Capt Scott Sasser. “She’s going to get a chance to learn about the Marine Corps and we’re all going to have a great time celebrating the Marine Corps birthday.” And Capt Sasser added that both Kunis and Moore had been ‘enjoying themselves’ at the event. Sgt Moore said that he was left in ‘disbelief’ when Kunis agreed to be his date to the ball but that he ‘always thought I had a chance’. Kunis’ attendance at a Marine Corp ball came a week after her ‘Friends with Benefits’ co-star Justin Timberlake went to a similar ball with Cpl Kelsey De Santis.

Justin Timberlake makes an appearance on today’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The 30-year old singer/actor spoke about his Mickey Mouse Club co-star Ryan Gosling during his interview, saying “He’s always been that charismatic and that talented. We actually, funny enough, his mother had to keep her job in Canada the second year that we were on the television show and my mom was his guardian for like six months. So we actually lived together when we were that age [about 10, 11 years old]. So we were probably a little closer that the rest of the kids that were on the show just because we had to share a bathroom.”

John Mayer recently revealed that he has been diagnosed with granuloma, an inflamed nodule near his vocal chords. The 33-year old pop singer, who has been forced to cancel his appearance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival and Tony Bennett’s upcoming concert, took to his Tumblr blog to write “This is a temporary setback, though I’m not sure how long or short a period of time it will be. I’ve got the best doctors in the country looking after me and I will be singing and touring again as soon as I get the all clear. Until then I’ll be spending time writing and composing more music and kicking an empty soup can around the West Village.” Get well soon John!

Cheryl Cole recently flew to Afghanistan to not only film a special tribute to the members of the troops for the Pride of Britain Awards, but also to boost morale of the troops on the 10-year anniversary of UK operations in the war-torn country. Task Force Helmand chief, Lt. Col. Tim Purbick revealed “She was not afraid to get her shoes dirty. When everyone heard she was coming we did not know what to expect as she’s a huge star. But whatever ­preconceptions we had went out of the window as soon as we met her. Her smile is infectious, she was up for doing everything we suggested. She was like one of the lads. She was a little taken aback by the noise and general chaos and was a little shaken but she gamely carried on. I’m sure plenty of celebrities probably would have rather just observed but Cheryl was in the thick of it.” I commend her not only for bringing a smile to the troops but also for not acting like a diva. She should be proud of herself.

After a car accident, John Paul Giosa died at the age of 42 years.
The terrible car accident took place in California, Westchester highway. His death occurred after a failed turn, the car leaving the road, coming down and hitting a concrete pillar.
Confirmation of the artist’s death came with a message posted on the official Facebook page of the band BulletBoys:
“I post this message with a huge pain in my heart. Words can not express how devastated I am to hear that my friend died. Sincere condolences to his family and those who loved him. We miss you, brother!” said a band colleague.

Chely Wright holds on tight to her wife Lauren Blitzer in this photo that she shared via Twitter right before their wedding in Connecticut this past Saturday. She took to her Twitter saying “Let’s get this party started xo c”. According to People, the 40-year old country singer and her 30-year old spouse said their vows in front of over 200 guests. Chely told the magazine “The freedom of being out and open about who I am allowed me to find and fall in love with Lauren – the most amazing woman I’ve ever known.” Congratulations to the happy couple! Ashley Cole is reportedly trying to worm his way back in to Cheryl’s good books by raising money for her charity. The 30-year-old footballer is in the dog house after an air hostess and two models claimed they had slept with him while he was trying to win his ex-wife back last month. According to The Sun, Cheryl has been refusing to take his calls but now Ashley wants to organise a charity football match and donate some of the proceeds to The Cheryl Cole Foundation, which helps disadvantaged young people in the North East of England. A source said, “Ashley was planning to organise a charity match and donate some of the proceeds to her foundation. “It was something they both knew was on the cards when they were getting on with each other again but it has come to a halt since she found out he’d been up to old tricks. “Cheryl has been refusing his calls but this is the one thing she could end up having to be civil with him over.”

Amy Winehouse’s jailed ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil is “beyond inconsolable” over the death of the singer. The former heroin addict, who is serving 32 months for burglary and a firearms offence, said he broke down when prison officers called him from his cell on Saturday afternoon to tell him the love of his life was dead. The pair were married for two years but called time on their relationship in 2009 after a series of public fights and run-ins with the law. “I will never ever again feel the love I felt for her,” he told The Sun. “Everybody who knew me and knew Amy knew the depth of our love. I can’t believe she’s dead.” Sarah Aspin, his present girlfriend and mother of his newborn son Jack, was granted a compassionate visit to Leeds’ Armley Jail to comfort him and revealed he feels wracked with guilt for not being able to save her. “He is devastated and shattered. He just can’t take it in that she’s dead and he’ll never see her again,” she said. “Blake rang me on Saturday after the prison authorities told him she’d died. I just couldn’t console him. He was in total shock. Blake is the father of our son. But I saw him and Amy together and I know they were really in love and they were soulmates. She always loved him and he always loved her – but it was just never going to work. Basically they couldn’t live with each other and they could not live without each other. It is hard for me knowing he still loved her, but I do understand his feelings.”

The 29-year old pop singer released a statement via People magazine about the new fragrance, saying “I believe that all women can create their own world where they shine the brightest. It’s all about having the power and confidence to be yourself. When I wear my new scent, Cosmic Radiance, I feel beautiful, empowered and sexy.” The fragrance is touted to have a touch of citrus with notes of amber, sandalwood and liquid vanilla. It will start selling at $39.50 and will be available at select retailers and Kohl’s stores nationwide.
