Singer and actress Hilary Duff has announced she is pregnant with her first child.
Last weekend, Hilary (24) and her husband, hockey player Mike Comrie (31 years), celebrated two important events in their lives: a year of marriage, and the news that they will be parents.
`Hey everyone! This weekend, Mike and I celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We want to share with you the wonderful news: with the baby, we’ll be three. We are very happy and we are ready for a new chapter in our lives. Thank you for your support, ‘wrote Hilary Duff on her website.
Hilary and Mike have announced their engagement in February 2010 and on August 14th last year they joined their fate in front of God. Exactly one year after the religious ceremony, the singer announced she was pregnant.
The singer’s new-born baby girl is not even one moth old and already Pink is planning a play-date for her child and Alyssa Milano’s baby. This is what Pink tweeted on the matter: : ”@Alyssa_Milano enjoy this miracle, woman. I’m so excited for you. playdates are as fun to plan as bbq’s used to be. Hahaha” It certainly seems that Pink is pretty excited about being a mother. Still, she might want to take it easy there as the baby isn’t growing quite at the same pace as the singer’s enthusiasm. Maybe her husband might want to weigh in with a suggestion or two here.
Actress Halle Berry said her daughter Nahla is a “very girly girl” who loves to try on her fragrances. The 44-year-old star is mum to the three year-old, whose dad is Berry’s ‘s ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry. Speaking to PEOPLE backstage at the FIFI Awards in New York, she said: “She’s a very girly girl.” She added that making her own perfume impresses her daughter. Berry said: “I have four fragrances now. She tries them all out and likes them all. She’ll definitely be a fragrance wearer I can tell.” She added: “As a kid, I always wanted to have fragrances. And I would mix things in my mother’s cabinet. Now, as an adult, I get a chance to really mix my own.”
Charlie Sheen has shown off his shrine to his “missing” twins at his Beverly Hills mansion. The troubled star said he set it up after two-year-old son Bob and his brother Max were taken away by police earlier this week. “This is the actual sippy cup or bottle that Bob was holding the other night as I put him in the car,” Sheen said in a new television interview. The boys were taken from the actor and given to their mother, Sheen’s soon-to-be ex-wife Brooke Mueller. “As a little shrine, much like in the [American football team] Notre Dame locker room going onto the field you tap a sign that says, ‘Play Like a Champion Today’, so as we walk by this in our house [we] tap the bottle and keep going.”
And so is her brother, Jaden Smith, at least as far as author Terry McMillan is concerned. It seems that she believes Willow and Jaden Smith are simply being exploited for their superstar potential. This is what Terry McMillan said on the matter: “The Smith children already act like child stars. There’s an arrogance in their demeanor and behavior. I find it incredibly sad. It feels like the Smith children are being pimped and exploited. Or, they’re already hungry for fame. What about 4th grade?” It is indeed a bit strange that Willow Smith and her brother seem to have found such deep meaning in music at their age. But who knows, maybe they are prodigies. Still, it would be pretty sad for them to miss out on childhood because of their careers.
Actress Jennifer Aniston is NOT adopting a baby from Mexico, her rep has confirmed. The 41-year-old star has dismissed the claims that recently appeared in a magazine claiming that she was about to become a mum as she was in the middle of an adoption process. Her rep told PEOPLE: “It is completely false. Jennifer is not adopting a baby from Mexico, nor does she have a nursery in her home and she has not hired a nanny. It is all a work of fiction.” Aniston might not be adopting but she’s made no secret of her desire to become a mum. She has previously said: “I feel like that’s in my future and I’m on the verge of it in some way, or it’s something I long for.”
Heath Ledger’s ex, Michelle Williams, has revealed she is planning to show their daughter Brokeback Mountain. The former Dawson’s Creek star hooked up with the late actor on the set of the movie in 2004, and the pair welcomed daughter Matilda in 2005. Despite having split up with Ledger before his death from an accidental prescription drug overdose in 2008, Williams said she will make sure their child gets to see the movie when she is old enough. She told Angeleno Magazine: “I was just an actor who happened to be lucky enough to be in the right place, and it was the place where I met Matilda’s father, and that is a lot. It was a lot. And it will be a lot for Matilda too, when she gets around to watching it. I will watch it with her, when she’s ready. It is hard to imagine what that would feel like, but one day, yes, we will watch it together.”
It looks like Courteney Cox could be in the market for a cute pooch for her daughter this Christmas. The former Friends star, who separated from husband David Arquette earlier this year, said her six-year-old daughter Coco has asked for a puppy for Christmas. She told People: “She wants a puppy, which is unfortunate because we have two dogs. All I said was, ‘No chihuahuas!’ [And Coco replied,] ‘No, they’re just crazy!’” Cox admitted she wants quite a low-key holiday season this year. “I don’t have any big plans,” she said. “Just hanging with the family.”
Will Smith’s son Jaden has kicked the A-Team into touch.
His new film The Karate Kid has scored the biggest box office upset of the year so far to seize the No.1 spot at the US box office in its opening weekend.
The action flick, produced by the youngster’s parents, took in an estimated $56 million at the box office.
That was a whopping $20 million more than predicted, especially as many reviews had not been favourable about the flick, with some critics saying it should be renamed The Kung Fu Kid as it does not feature any karate moves.
The movie, which also stars Jackie Chan, is a remake of the ’80s cult classic, which originally starred Ralph Macchio and Pat Morita.
But the film easily toppled The A-Team, another remake, this time of a hit ’80s TV series.
Even with A-list stars like Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper and Jessica Biel, The A-Team only pulled in $27 million to take the No.2 spot.
Gwyneth Paltrow has admitted she sometimes wears earplugs to drown out the noise her children Apple and Moses make.
“They’re kids and they have to do what they have to do. You just have to wear earplugs sometimes,” People reports Paltrow as saying.
“I started to with all these toys that make noise, instead of smashing the toys when I haven’t slept and, like, lose my mind. I just put on headphones or earplugs.”
Appearing on the Ellen show to promote her new movie, Iron Man 2, the Oscar-winner also admitted she would like to have another child.
“I would love to have another child at some point,” she said. “I feel very, very lucky that I have two healthy, nice ones.”

Tina Fey’s four-year-old daughter may start impersonating Barack Obama after thinking she looks like the US President.
The actress says her little girl may have got confused after hearing people compare her mum to Sarah Palin.
“She says she looks like Barack Obama,” the 39-year-old says.
“I think she heard so many people at that time saying I looked like Sarah Palin, I think she was just trying to get in on that.
“‘I look like Barack Obama’. OK. Sure.”
Fey shares the funny story in the latest issue of US Esquire.
The actress appears on the April cover of the magazine as she promotes her latest movie, Date Night.
Fey also tells another tale about her daughter Alice in the interview, saying: “My four-year-old daughter has a pretend hair-and-nail salon and I was doing her hair and make-up and I said: ‘Hello ma’am. What’s your name? And what do you do?’
“And she said: ‘I get paid to dance at parties’.
“And I said: ‘Oh, no. That’s a terrible, terrible answer.”
Model Daisy Lowe said it was “mental” when she found out at 14 that her godfather Gavin Rossdale was actually her biological dad.
Lowe, now 20, whose mum is model Pearl Lowe, grew up thinking holistic doctor Bronner Handwerger was her father but she later found out that Rossdale, who is married to singer Gwen Stefani, is actually her dad.
Talking about that time, she said to Britain’s The Times Magazine: “It was mental. A very interesting time. That age is when you’re at your most malleable, you’re developing frontal lobes.
“But I’m very proud of those times, ‘cos at those moment when the s**t hits the fan I could either go out and get really f***** up or I could go home, cry myself to sleep and wake up in the morning and give my mum a big cuddle, and feel better. And face it head on.”
Lowe’s mum Pearl wrote that Rossdale’s name is “banned in my household. He’s missing out on an amazing girl.”
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie took twins Knox and Vivienne out for ice cream on a recent trip to Jordan.
Brad, 45, and Angelina, 34, were in Amman, Jordan, when they stopped for ice cream and visited the Licky Licious ice cream on Rainbow Street.
The store’s co-owner Ihab Fakhouri later posted a picture of the superstar family and posted it on his Twitter page.
He said: “They were walking down the street and saw our shop. Brad stopped and said: ‘Do you guys have ice-cream?’ I said: ‘Are you kidding? Of course!’”
It is claimed the superstar couple spent 10-15 minutes in the store with their youngest children as Brad sampled some of the flavours and shared some vanilla with daughter Vivienne.
Angelina then tried the mango, which she shared with son Knox, 14 months.
The pair have been in the Middle East to visit the Iraqi refugees in Syria as part of Angelina’s work as a goodwill ambassador.
Actress Angelina Jolie, 34, doesn’t follow what the media says about her and can’t understand why anyone is interested as she thinks her family are relatively boring.
Jolie said: “I don’t ask for all this tabloid attention so I never read what they write about us. First I see myself as a mother – that’s my priority.
“I have a family to take care of, I don’t even go out that much, I travel and do a film and that’s about it, so I don’t understand why people want to know more about our lives.”
The partner of actor Brad Pitt added: “There is a tendency to know more and more but I’m so used to this craziness which always surrounds us.”
The well being of Michael Jackson’s three children is being investigated by child and family services.
The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) is looking into the welfare of Prince Michael I, Paris Michael Katherine and Prince Michael II, who were at home with Jacko when he suffered a serious heart episode.
The children may become the focus of a custody battle if the pop star’s ex-wife Debbie Rowe seeks custody of the two eldest children she gave birth to.
Jacko’s mother, Katherine, has temporary custody of all three children, while Jacko expressed the wish in his will that she should take care of them in the event of his death.
At the weekend Jacko’s brother Jermaine Jackson said the children were taken to view the body upon the advice of a therapist.
It was believed this would help them adjust to the situation and Jermaine said they had done so and were doing well afterward.
The DCFS was alerted after Murray gave Emergency Room personnel a list of medications his patient had been taking.
After Jackson’s death, the children were taken to the Jackson family compound in Encino, California.
The county investigation into the children’s welfare is classified as a Caretaker Absence or Incapacity case.
The children will be interviewed about their lives, including what, if any, exposure they had to any drug use by their famous father.
The investigators will also look into conditions at the Encino house, such as who would care for the children if Katherine is not be available.
The investigation is expected to take a month but could go on longer.

Michael Jackson’s ex-wife Debbie Rowe insists she has not reached a final decision over custody of their children – despite declaring “I want my kids”.
Rowe’s lawyer Eric George insisted on Thursday she is still considering her options – but did not challenge the accuracy of a report quoting her as saying: “I’m going after my children.”
It came as it was confirmed a custody hearing set for next Monday has been postponed until July 13 at the request of the Rowe camp.
Rowe – who insists she is the biological mother of Jackson’s two eldest children – broke her silence since the Thriller singer’s sudden death in a late-night phone call with a local news reporter.
She was quoted as telling the reporter: “They are my flesh and blood. I’m going after my children.”
But George said on Thursday: “I’m representing to you now, unequivocally, Debbie has not reached a final decision concerning the pending custody proceedings.”
The lawyer said although he had no doubt that his client’s conversation with the reporter was accurately and ethically reported, “the truth is that Debbie has not reached a final decision concerning the pending custody proceedings”.
Rowe reportedly told LA news channel KNBCLA she and Jackson “had an agreement” but the music icon “didn’t keep his end”. She also reportedly said she would be open to raising Jackson’s youngest child, seven-year-old Blanket.
Michael Jackson’s mother, Katherine, has just filed a guardianship petition for the late singer’s children. She is asking the court to appoint her as the guardian of all three kids. The petition also states that the kids have no relationship with their biological mother and that the kids are in the care of Katherine and that they have a long established relationship. She thinks that it would be best for her to be appointed guardian as “Minor children are currently residing with paternal grandmother. They have a long-established relationship with paternal grandmother and are comfortable in her care.” The petition also says that it is not known at the time whether Debbie Rowe, the mother of the older 2 children, agrees to having Katherine as the legal guardian. A hearing is set for August 3 to hear the petition but Katherine has been granted temporary guardianship.
Michael Jackson’s eldest son Prince was reportedly “stunned” as he watched doctors battle to save his father’s life.
The 12-year-old lad was reportedly stood nearby when the family’s personal doctor frantically tried to save the star, according to the family’s biographer Stacy Brown.
He said: “The horror of it all is Prince thought his dad was just being his dad and clowning, but it was real and he watched as they worked on him. Prince was stunned – in a trance – just watching.
“There was no movement, just looking around and not really processing what was really happening.”
A family insider added: “The three children had been taken to another room by their nannies but they thought their dad was just fooling around.
“He often played dead and would then jump up and surprise them, so they thought he was just having a bit of fun. But when they saw the emergency trucks arrive, that really shook them.
“The kids were terrified and started crying and howling for their dad.”
It is claimed the children were with their grandmother Katherine, 79, in a hospital waiting room when they were later told he had died.
Michael’s manager Frank DiLeo said it was the “single most painful moment” of his life telling the children he had died.
Reports claim the Jackson family are keen for the children to stay with Michael’s mother Katherine, 79, however the eldest two children’s mother Debbie Rowe could file for custody.

The actress has recently stated that she does not want her three year old daughter, Matilda, becoming a child star. Michelle Williams left home and went to Los Angeles when she was 15 and she told the following story: “There’s a really dark undercurrent that comes from desperation when people are chasing something and people are preying on people chasing something. I was surviving from job to job, doing commercials and the grind of auditions and rejections. I wouldn’t recommend it for your kid or mine.” Michelle Williams does make an interesting point, but still, I’m sure there were certain circumstances that determined her to run away at such a frail age and she’s not going to let Matilda get caught up in the same ones, will she?
