Sophie Ellis-Bextor is desperate for more children. The ‘Murder on the Dancefloor’ singer – who already has a four-year-old son Sonny with husband Richard Jones – would love to extend her family but is too busy concentrating on her career.

She said: “I’d love to have more children but I’m just really tied up with work at the moment so now’s not really a good time. My album’s out in September so maybe after that. I love spending time with Sonny and luckily I can fit a lot of my work round him. He’ll start school either this September or next so I’ll have a bit more free time then.”

Sophie was speaking after she had performed a set at the launch of new summer drink Martini Rosato, at London’s exclusive Kensington Roof Gardens. The bash was hosted by Australian beauty Natalie Imbruglia, who seemed to enjoy Sophie’s performance and at one point playfully pushed a fellow partygoer onto the dance floor, on which the young girl happily showed off her best moves.

Although Natalie – who looked stunning in a knee-length cream dress – refrained from joining the reveler on the dance floor she couldn’t help but bop along to Sophie’s songs while watching at the front of the crowd.

Whatever the judge may say, Britney Spears is getting rave reviews from the kiddies – just not her own. The little girls that she’s teaching at the Millennium Dance Complex have fallen in love with the pop wreck as it seems. 5-year old Elissa Bouganim told People “Today, first we were dancing slow, and then faster and faster. Then we did the fish-move and lots of other fun things.” I don’t know what the fish move is but Elissa’s mom Pam gave Brit an A+ as well saying “Britney has really inspired her. It’s just amazing to watch Britney with the kids.”

Tiger Lily Hutchence is set to star in a Hollywood movie.

The 11-year-old - whose parents Paula Yates and INXS rocker Michael Hutchence are both deceased - is the favourite to land the lead role in ‘Eloise in Paris’ alongside Uma Thurman after impressing industry scouts.

A source said: “The movie producers scoured schools and drama departments across Britain, America and Canada for the perfect child for the film and Tiger Lily has been placed on a shortlist of 10. Eloise has to be sassy, streetwise and lovable, although she also has a naughty side.”

The youngster - whose full name is Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily - will go for her final audition next week. ‘Eloise in Paris’ is based on the famous 50s children’s books by Kay Thompson. The plot will see Uma play Eloise’s nanny, who follows her charge to Paris for Fashion Week, where she ends up joining Europe’s top designers on a hunt for a stolen dress. Should Tiger Lily win the part she may have to dye her auburn hair blond, as Eloise is known for being fair-haired.

Victoria Beckham brought her 3-year old son Cruz on stage during the final show of the Spice Girls reunion tour in Toronto on Tuesday. Just as he did in New York, Cruz busted a move and started to break dance. And wouldn’t you know it? Baby boy is a superstar already! When the song ended, Victoria went to hand him over to her family when Cruz started sobbing because he didn’t want to get off the stage. 3 years old and already a diva – stardom is definitely in that kid’s future. I wonder what his brothers think of that. The youngest is outshining them!
