Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been spotted buying last minute Christmas presents. Even Angie, 35, and Brad, 47, are still stocking up on presents for the festive period. The couple were seen buying toys at a shopping centre in Namibia yesterday. The Tourist star and Pitt are reportedly spending part of Christmas in the African country, the birth place of Shiloh, one of their six children. And if their trolley piled high with goodies is anything to go by, looks like their kids are in for a good Christmas. Jolie and Brad recently said they were planning to escape to a ‘random part of the world’ for a festive adventure with their children.

Jake Gyllenhaal scored some major points by getting Taylor Swift a $10,000 rare Fender Gretsch guitar signed by country star Chet Atkins for her birthday. Apparently, the guitar was just one of the smaller gifts for the young country singer because the actor also reportedly spent $100,000 on a diamond bracelet for her. A source said “It’s an Oscar-worthy bracelet – nearly 30 carats of colourless diamonds set in white gold.” According to In Touch Weekly, the bracelet was sent to Taylor earlier this month along with other gifts. The source details the other gifts, saying “They love coffee, so he sent her 21 pounds of the best Kona coffee available, along with a coffee grinder and a coffeemaker. And he made her a birthday card, as opposed to buying a generic one.” I wonder what Jake will give her for Christmas.

It seems that singing Christmas songs is a lot more rewarding than singing anything else. Mariah Carey probably thinks so right now since her new album, “Merry Christmas II You” did a lot better than her last release. The album sold over 55,000 copies in its first week and it debuted as #1 on the Holiday Chart and #1 on the Bilboard’s R&B Chart. It seems that Mariah Carey is going to have a pretty good start on her nest-egg. Now she can focus all of her efforts on getting through her pregnancy without murdering a few underlings or driving Nick Cannon crazy.

Leighton Meester has gotten herself into the holiday spirit as the ‘Gossip Girl’ actress turned singer has her own rendition of the yuletide classic ‘Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home)’. The song is currently available for digital download on iTunes as part of the collection ‘A Very Special Christmas 7’. I wonder when she found the time to record a Christmas song given her busy schedule. But then again, with ‘Gossip Girl’ ratings going down, she may end up having a lot more free time on her hands. Is anyone still watching that show at all? I’d be surprised if it gets picked up for more seasons.

After Cheryl Cole being named a judge on X Factor and Nadine Coyle’s relocation to Los Angeles, several rumors have come up that Girls Aloud is going to break up. Those rumors were just put to rest after the girl group just signed a three record deal with the label Polydor. To celebrate their new deal, Cheryl has reportedly invited the rest of the girls for a Christmas feast this week. That means there’s going to be a lot of delicious food for them and a lot of yumminess for us. At least until they finish the three records and then more rumors will have to come up if that’s it or not.

Reese Witherspoon can afford it but she doesn’t splurge on gifts for her children 9-year old Ava and 5-year old Deacon even if it is Christmas. Reese admitted she is a little strict when it comes to giving presents to her kids as she always puts a limit to what they can get. Reason? She said kids appreciate what they have if they only have a few compared to having them succumb to the gluttony of things.

Reese just got divorced from her children’s father Ryan Philippe but they are sharing the kids for the holidays. She may presently promoting her new film “Four Christmases” where she stars with Vince Vaughn but said she will start getting into the Christmas by doing her Christmas shopping and even cooking which she enjoys. Among the favorite Christmas traditions for her family includes her children dressing up her little Oscar with some hat and scarf so he wouldn’t get cold.

She may have everything any actress can wish for but when asked what’s on her Christmas wish list, she said just a chicken coop and of course a man who will be there to build it for her. Reese and her children are definitely getting her wish as they are headed for the family farm where they are expected to feast on her cooking which consist of sugar-baked ham, sweet potatoes and turnip greens.
