Avril Lavigne is turning into such a big diva that’s she’s getting confused about where some laws hold jurisdiction. Sources are saying that she’s being just that in Sweden. Apparently, Avril is set to perform in Sweden on Saturday where she has demanded that any photographer hoping to shoot at the concert sign a contract that goes against Swedish law. Apparently, the Canadian singer wants the Swedish media to follow US law. Now why would Swedes follow a US law when they’re in their home turf? Add to that, it’s not even an American pushing the law on them.
Avril is just so stupid.

Donnie Wahlberg may prove that he’s the busiest kid out of the New Kids on the Block. He’s going out with his old band for a reunion tour for a job. But once that’s over, he’ll be acting in and producing a TNT crime drama called ‘Morse Code’. The show is about a young war hero who returns to his hometown of Boston where he works as a Drug Enforcement Administration officer. Who would have thought that any kid on the block had job offers before talks of the reunion tour came out? At least he’s keeping the paychecks coming in.

Amy Winehouse is to receive $2 million to perform in an old Russian bus garage. The ‘Rehab’ singer is being offered the huge sum for the private show in June.

Daria ‘Dasha’ Zhukova – girlfriend of Chelsea Football Club owner, billionaire Roman Abramovich – is heading a project to turn the 1920s building in Moscow into a contemporary art gallery and has lined up Amy for a launch night performance.

The gallery – to be called the Center for Contemporary Culture – is not due to open until September but Daria says they are planning a one-off event in the summer. She claims they have booked Amy for the night, however Daria will not disclose how much the singer is being paid to appear.

Amy is not the first music star to boost their earnings by playing a private concert.

George Michael received $2.5 million for a 75-minute show at Russian billionaire Vladimir Potanin’s New Year’s Eve party in 2006, while the Rolling Stones were paid a total of $9 million for playing at the 60th birthday bash of billionaire David Bonderman.

Avril Lavigne has reportedly postponed her concert in San Diego as she’s supposedly suffering from throat problems. I think that’s just a cover up for poor ticket sales but whatever. But a source says that it’s actually excessive partying that is to blame. The source says that at a private performance before the big show in Vegas, Boy Like Girls’ (Avril’s opening act) told the crowd that he and Avril went shot after shot all night long in her suite at the Palms. Avril even claimed that she was so hung over from drinking so much the night before. Gee, that’s responsible, promoting drinking to tweens in the audience. Oh by the way, the concert is now officially cancelled. I guess the promoters didn’t think that it was worth it to reschedule.

Leona Lewis has signed up to sing at Nelson Mandela’s star-studded 90th birthday concert in London’s Hyde Park this summer. It will be the X Factor champ’s biggest gig and the icing on the cake after her successful globe-trotting.

Leona has been setting the States on fire with debut album Spirit and single Bleeding Love. And on Saturday the London-born beauty was in Australia — one of a host of countries where she has topped the charts — for the Oz MTV Music Awards.

She will be joined at Hyde Park by Amy Winehouse — legal and marriage woes permitting — Duffy, Razorlight, Keane, Sugababes, Eminem and Jamelia on June 27.

The 45,000 tickets, priced from $130, will be sold using a Glasto-style online registration system which opens for a week from tomorrow.

Victoria Beckham brought her 3-year old son Cruz on stage during the final show of the Spice Girls reunion tour in Toronto on Tuesday. Just as he did in New York, Cruz busted a move and started to break dance. And wouldn’t you know it? Baby boy is a superstar already! When the song ended, Victoria went to hand him over to her family when Cruz started sobbing because he didn’t want to get off the stage. 3 years old and already a diva – stardom is definitely in that kid’s future. I wonder what his brothers think of that. The youngest is outshining them!

Backstreet Boys’ unofficial front mat Nick Carter was caught as he took a quick pick into his nose when he was waiting to check in on Monday at LAX International Airport in Los Angeles, California. Whether it was a pick, a scratch or complete nasal penetration, it’s all the joys of the nose pick. You better just hope you don’t get caught in public.

Nick is going to join the rest of his man band soon as The Backstreet Boys ‘Unbreakable Tour’ will kick off on February 16 in Tokyo, Japan and will end on May 14 in London, England. So far, there aren’t any stops in the US.

Singer Mel C has admitted being a bad role model for kids when she was first in the Spice Girls.

The star said she led an unhealthy lifestyle; not eating enough and working out too much. Sporty Spice said: “I was underweight. I was a terrible role model to girls.”

Mel, 33 — real name Melanie Chisholm — vowed she’d never work with the band again.

But she changed her mind to join them on the Spice Girls’ current global reunion tour.

After it was revealed that Avril Lavigne is paying dancers way below the industry standards, the Canadian singer and so-called songwriter has cancelled auditions for dancers on her tour. The dance community was set to boycott Avril for the low pay rate but the Dancer’s Alliance posted an update on Monday night saying that “As of February 4th, 10:30pm Avril’s management has canceled the audition tomorrow and has opened up a new conversation with the agencies. Thanks for everyone’s support on this issue.”

Congratulations to the dancers for getting what they wanted. Demand for what your worth and don’t fall prey to egos like Avril!

Hilary Duff launched her new perfume called ‘Wrapped with Love’ at the City Myer Store in Sydney Australia on Saturday. The actress/pop star commented on the fragrance saying “I don’t want to eat it, but it’s very yummy. It totally reminds me of summer time. It is very sweet.” Ok, that didn’t really explain anything about it, but hey, it’s her fragrance after all and she’ll describe it whichever way she wants.

Earlier that day, Hilary performed on stage at the Acer Arena as part of her 2008 ‘Dignity’ tour. When asked about her performance, she said “It was really, really great … the fans were crazy. I love that it always makes for a great show.”

More bad news has come to the Spice Girls. Don’t worry so bad though, no one got injured or kicked out of the group. But be worried about burglars because some clothes and jewelry were stolen from Victoria Beckham’s dressing room at their concert stop in Germany. She was the only Spice Girls targeted and Posh is reportedly gutted about it.

I’m sure she could just ask her husband to shell out more cash and buy her the exact same things she lost just so she would cheer up. Or she could get Roberto Cavalli to make some clothes for her. She’s freaking Victoria Beckham! She can buy more stuff!

Aww, I just wanna hug the poor babies.

Just before the start of their world tour, the Spice Girls are stricken with the chicken pox. Well, not the Spice Girls themselves, but their children.

According to the reports, Cruz Beckham, son of Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham, had the chicken pox. Now he’s passed them on to Bluebell, the 18 month old daughter of Geri “Ginger Spice” Halliwell.

Ginger says it was inevitable that the kids would end up sharing the outbreak because they just love to play together. She is now having to leave Bluebell behind when they head to Vancouver on Sunday.

I remember the chicken pox – well, I remember oatmeal baths and calamine lotion. It was the best Christmas ever!

15-year old Nick, 18-year old Joe and 20-year old Kevin, collectively known as the Jonas Brothers struck some poses when they were at the 2007 CosmoGIRL Born to Lead Awards at New York City’s Hearst Tower on Tuesday.
Disney’s latest pop rock group was honored at the event for making their personal dreams come true and making a positive change in their communities. Now this I would believe before I would ever think of Ashlee Simpson falling in the same category.

The Jonas Brothers are also said to be performing at the 2007 American Music Awards which will air on Sunday, November 18.

Victoria Beckham has been ordered to plump up for the ‘Spice Girls’ upcoming tour. She was asked to eat five meals a day in an effort to gain some much-needed weight. As much as I think that Victoria could benefit from gaining a few pounds, I doubt that she was ordered to do anything. She might be skinny now, but if you look at pictures of her during their last world tour (back in the day) she had to be at least 10 pounds lighter then. Also remember this is the same management group that allowed at least three of the girls to have eating disorders (sporty even lost her period) and did nothing about it. So I don’t think they have a problem with underweight acts going on stage. Also I’ve noticed the daily mail writes a lot of false stories. Just yesterday they reported Kylie Minogue is canceling her world tour due to illness, but kylie on her official website just said that she didn’t have a tour planned so couldn’t of cancelled and that her doctors didn’t order her to stop due to health reasons. The daily mail even has to write a retraction today
