Dancing With the Stars professional Kym Johnson said partner David Arquette is ‘too hard on himself’ and should be more confident. The dancer has already won the show twice before and said she would love to do it for a third time. She said to TVGuide.com: “I would love to defend. That would be incredible to win back to back. “But honestly I don’t really think about that. We’ve got a long road to go before I can even consider it.” Asked what Arquette still needs to work on, she added: “I think he’s too hard on himself, so he’s got to start believing in himself and having that confidence. “With that, I think we could definitely go all the way.”

After a knee injury and two weeks at the bottom of the leader board, Chaz Bono has upped his game on this past Monday’s Dancing with the Stars. In front of his music icon mom Cher, the rest of his family and an audience of millions, the activist/author danced the paso doble to the theme from “Rocky”. Bruno Tonioli said “In the true spirit of ‘Rocky,’ no matter how many knocks you take, you keep coming back, you keep fighting and you keep getting stronger.” Chaz’s performance was so captivating that it brought his mom to tears, and got a standing ovation from the ballroom audience.

Actress Jennie Garth has revealed that she would love to take part in an all-stars edition of Dancing With The Stars. The 90210 star, who came fourth in the fifth season of the hit US dancing series, said that she would like to reunite with some of the other contestants for a special edition of the show. She told E! Online: “Yeah, I’m always open to trying things. It’s a lot of work, a lot of physically demanding work, but I definitely had a great time doing it.” But the mum-of-three admitted that she hasn’t kept up her dancing since the show ended. She said: “I remember how much I love it. I went to my daughter’s dance recital the other day and I just remembered how much I love dancing. So I’m going to try to figure a way to keep it in my life.”

American Football star Hines Ward almost ended Kym Johnson’s dancing career when a rehearsal went wrong on Dancing With The Stars. The pair were attempting to do a lift when Ward’s 205lbs body came crushing down on his petite professional partner. Johnson was rushed out of the building by paramedics. She was put in a neck brace after complaining she could not feel her arms. “I feel blessed and lucky to be ok,” she said of the accident. Johnson blamed herself for the accident as she was trying to push herself to do more risky moves for the semi-final. “It’s my fault, I shouldn’t have made us do that stupid lift,” she said.

Dancing With The Stars hottie Chelsea Kane has confirmed she’s dating Lauren Conrad’s ex-boyfriend. The Disney starlet, 22, who is currently competing in the prime-time TV show, reportedly told US Weekly magazine about her new romance with Stephen Colletti. “We were set up on a blind date by my manager,” Chelsea revealed. It turns out the dancer has been a fan of the 25-year-old One Tree Hill actor since his days with The Hills’ star Conrad on MTV’s Laguna Beach. A source close to the dancer revealed Kane is beyond excited about her new love, adding: “She tore his photo out of a magazine to show friends!”

DWTS finalist Bristol Palin has hit out at Kathy Griffin for calling her fat. Griffin made the dig at 20-year-old Palin during VH1′s Divas salute and, in reference to her time on Dancing With The Stars, she said: “She’s the only contestant in the history of the show to actually gain weight.” The troops booed Griffin but she continued: “No, come on, come on. She gained like 30 pounds a week, I swear to God, it was fantastic. She’s like the white Precious.” Speaking to Fox News about Griffin’s comments, Palin said: “The audience’s reaction to this ‘comedian’ spoke volumes, and the decent people I know would probably have booed her, too. “I hope people didn’t have to pay money to hear her negativity and criticisms.”

Dancing With The Stars finalist Bristol Palin said she’s ‘happy with her legs’ after losing weight while competing on the show. Palin, 20, lost out on the crown to Dirty Dancing star Jennifer Grey but she admitted she is happy with her toned body now the show’s finished. She said to OK! magazine: “I’m definitely happy with my legs. I know I’ve got a lot of work to do, but I’m getting in shape and I’m having a good time out there.” Palin is mum to one-year-old son Tripp and she said she doesn’t feel too bad about leaving her little boy to take part in the show. She said: “I’ve been a working mum since he was born. Millions of mums work and have kids at the same time, and I’m still a good mum.”

Bristol Palin lived to dance again as ex-NFL star Kurt Warner was kicked off Dancing With The Stars. Palin, 20, defied her critics to make the semi-finals of the ballroom competition by popular vote despite again receiving the lowest judges’ score of the week. Bristol’s partner Mark Ballas covered his face with his hands as the couple were told they would be staying in the show. Kyle Massey found out first that he had made it into the final four, before Dirty Dancing star Jennifer Grey joined him. The bottom two of the public vote was singer Brandy and Warner, and in the end the Superbowl MVP was told he had reached the end of the road. Also in the show veteran judge Len Goodman again had his shirt off with a fake tattoo in a comical advert for the show. Earlier in the season the critic had criticized teen activist and single mother Palin for an ‘overly sexy’ rumba which saw her partner, Ballas, tear off her shirt.

Reality TV star Audrina Patridge may have been eliminated from Dancing with the Stars but she already has a new television project in the pipeline. Talking about her and partner Tony Dovolani’s elimination from the US dancing competition, she told Etonline.com: “It’s meant to be, life continues and you move on to the next thing.” The former Hills star revealed that her next thing is starring in another reality show about her life. Patridge said the show, which will air on VH1 and be produced by her and Mark Burnett, will be about her life and family. The 25-year-old added: “It’s going to be very raw and real.” The project is set to start filming in January.

Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough gave a repeat performance of the tango that scored them the first tens of the season on Dancing With The Stars. The pair was asked Tuesday to repeat the high scoring tango that left judges marvelling on Monday night and dishing out the first 10s of the season. The routine got a standing ovation from the audience on the results show. “Jennifer and Derek even better than last time if that’s possible!” said host Tom Bergeron. They were amongst the first three couples saved from the chop on Tuesday’s results show.

Jennifer Grey can still feel Patrick Swayze’s spirit, the Dirty Dancing star claims. Swayze lost his battle with pancreatic cancer last year, but Grey says he is still with her as she prepares to compete on Dancing with the Stars. “I feel his presence right now very strongly,” Grey said while appearing on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show. “This week especially, because it’s the anniversary of his death. Patrick is the only person I’ve ever actually danced with with before Derek Hough, so it’s a pretty intense sense memory.” The 50-year-old actress also said that she was very moved to receive a message of support from Swayze’s widow Lisa Niemi “She actually sent me an e-mail last week saying that she’s rooting for me and thinking about me,” Grey explained.

Audrina Patridge is finding Dancing With The Stars a lot harder than she thought she would. The former Hills star is competing in the new series of the US version of Strictly Come Dancing with partner Tony Dovolani but is finding the training for the show hard and painful. In a new blog for People.com, the 25-year-old wrote: “It’s actually a lot harder than I’d thought but I’m loving every second of it! “Tony and I have been rehearsing for about two and a half weeks so far, and my muscles ache every night.” Patridge added: “The first week I had the worst blisters from getting used to dancing in heels. “Funny thing is now when I get pedicures I tell them not to take the calluses off, I actually want calluses on my feet because then they don’t hurt as much when I’m dancing.” DWTS premieres later today in the US.

Dancing with the Stars contestant Shannen Doherty thinks that Pussycat Dolls singer and season 10 champion Nicole Scherzinger had a bit of an unfair advantage on the show. After all, Nicole is a professional performer. The actress said “Nicole’s an amazing dancer and singer. So it’s hard to compete with that. Yeah, you know…whatever. In the long run, it’s up to the fans. It’s a bit of a mixed bag over there.” I agree with Shannen. Nicole sings and dances for a living so of course she will deliver great performances. Everyone else is at a definite disadvantage. The producers of the show should really think about that next time they consider the cast.

Nicole Scherzinger wowed the judges on Dancing With The Stars’ movie-themed night.

The Pussycat Dolls star topped the leaderboard with her tango inspired by the classic Julia Roberts and Richard Gere film Pretty Woman, scoring 10s from both Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli and a nine from Len Goodman.

Scherzinger and her partner Derek Hough showed how they got in the mood before the performance – filming themselves shopping in Beverly Hills for outfits.

The movie theme also played to the talents of Pamela Anderson and her dance partner Damien Whitehead. Despite wearing her most conservative outfit to date, Pam’s likeness to Dolly Parton was obvious as she performed the quickstep to the theme from 9 to 5.

Judge Carrie Ann Inaba was so impressed she told the Baywatch beauty she could perform on Broadway.

All of the hardcore American Idol fans must remember Sanjaya… he was one of the good ones, a real classic among classics. Well, he’s back and he’s aiming high yet again as now he wants to be on Dancing with the Stars. This is what Sanjaya said on the matter: “The only other reality show I’d consider would be Dancing with the Stars. I would totally do it because I love the show and I’ve always loved to dance, but I’ve never really had training — so I think it would be fun to be put in that situation! I wouldn’t care which partner I had, I just would want someone who was a really great choreographer because I’ve never really been trained…but I have a grasp of dance.” Well Sanjaya has probably never really been trained in the art of song as well, but nonetheless he managed to dazzle everybody… he will probably put Dancing with the Stars on the entertainment map.

Kym Johnson, 33, the Australian winner of the latest gruelling bout of Dancing With the Stars with celebrity Donny Osmond, has faithfully blogged her experiences.

Johnson, a DWTS veteran who has competed with a string of dancing partners and a first-time winner, blogged: “Hi, everyone! Well, we did it! Today is obviously a fantastic one for me — Donny and I are now the Dancing with the Stars champions!

“I’ve been busy doing press appearances all day and haven’t had much sleep, but I wanted to take a moment to write a final blog to all the loyal OK! readers who have followed my dance journey with Donny all these weeks.

“I’m just so excited. I’m exhausted, but the adrenalin is taking me through this day. To have actually won is so amazing. I’m so proud of Donny. I haven’t decided where I’m going to put my DWTS mirror ball trophy yet, but it will definitely be somewhere I can see it all the time!”

Johnson won the plaudits of observers in her home country this morning. Osmond’s face beamed from newspapers, television and the Web.

Johnson continued: “Last night was one of the best moments of my life. When Tom Bergeron said ‘Donny and Kym,’ I just could not believe our names came out of his mouth. As it approached the end of the show last night, I was on pins and needles. When we got into the final two, I thought, oh, we’ve got a shot at this.”

Dancing With The Stars contestant Melissa Joan Hart has said her co-star Aaron Carter has been getting “emotional” backstage.

Melissa, 33, is paired with dancer Mark Ballas on the show and came second in the leaderboard in week five.

Melissa was asked if co-star Aaron, 21, had been causing drama backstage.

She said: “I think he’s just a little emotional maybe and, you know, I think everybody’s getting along really well backstage. But, you know what, it just takes that toll on you… I think you just get emotional.

“Even if you were happy, you just sort of break down. I know I do it after auditions and stuff. You build yourself up and build yourself up and then as soon as the pressure’s off, you just lose it.”

She added: “You know I think Aaron, I think he’s having a little bit of a harder time maybe than some other people and maybe he’s just not handling himself very well.

“But, you know, we’re seeing him backstage. We’re all getting along really well. We’re all having fun.”

Actor Mario Lopez has said his dancing background did not give him an advantage on Dancing With The Stars.

Lopez, 35, host of MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew, lost to former NFL star Emmitt Smith during the wildly popular show’s third season.

He faced criticism about getting an unfair advantage by having a dancing background, but said he is no pro.

“I thought that was very flattering. I’m not a professional. I pick up stuff quick.”

Of his runner-up status, he said, “The whole thing was fun. It’s not like we were aspiring to be professionals or anything. At least, I wasn’t.”

While fans are gearing up for the next season of Dancing with the Stars, one familiar name will no longer be on the roster of professional dancers. Maksim Chmerkovskiy has announced that he’s taking a break.

A spokesperson says he just needed a break but will definitely be back. Maksim was a fan favorite, dancing with Laila Ali and Mel B.

Keep your eyes and ears open to see if he’ll return for Season Seven.

Not only did she make us look at her dressed like a doll…now she wants us to actually BUY her dolls?!

Kids will be lining up to buy a Marie Osmond Dancing-inspired doll from QVC. Dolls debut on November 29 at 6 p.m. There are four in the collection, each sporting an outfit that Marie wore on the show.

There’s the Boogie Woogie doll, the Paso Doble doll, the Quickstep doll, and the Freestyle doll from the season finale. There were two other dolls, the Samba doll and the Fox Trot dall, but both sold out previously.

Aww, Mom, can I have one for Christmas? Pleeeeaaassse? Yeah, right. I have no desire to encourage Marie’s shameless self promotion.
