As Billy Baldwin was filming ‘Gossip Girl’ last weekend, the actor received some rather alarming news. His wife Chynna Phillips had filed for a divorce. But before he could get too upset over it, the former singer recanted and asked her lawyers to withdraw the divorce filing. According to sources, Chynna is still dealing with some emotional buildup and that the divorce filing was completely rash on her part. The source says that immediately after filing the papers, Chynna “realized she didn’t want to lose Billy and asked her lawyers to withdraw it.” I guess her stint in rehab for anxiety didn’t help at all.
The singer who is currently engaged in what might be the biggest media blaze of her life has finally agreed to meet with her soon to be former husband Ashley Cole. This is what a source said about Cheryl Cole’s decision: “Ashley has been texting her nonstop and Cheryl has tentatively agreed to see him. Cheryl’s in two minds but believes they should meet like adults to discuss what’s happened.” If Cheryl Cole happens to be in the right mind of those two, the only things they will discuss will be the terms of the divorce. But then again, Ashley Cole must have some sort of ace up his sleeve.
Britney Spears’ little sister Jamie Lynn has become a single mother at 18, after reportedly breaking up with her fiancé Casey Aldridge.
The teenager who is mum to their 18-month-old daughter Maddie has been spotted without the diamond engagement ring that Aldridge gave her in March 2008.
According to reports in the US, the on-off couple have now called time on their tumultuous relationship for good.
The Nickelodeon star, who lives in Liberty, Mississippi, caused controversy when she became pregnant by college student Aldridge when she was just 16.
But with the support of her mother Lynne, father Jamie and her superstar sister Britney, it seems she is now determined to go it alone.
She and Aldridge previously called off their engagement in March last year, but Jamie Lynn continued wearing her ring until recently, fuelling rumours that their union may not be totally over.
The wife of Charlie Sheen, Brooke Mueller, has been discharged from hospital.
But her condition remains serious enough to prevent her from flying, said her lawyer Yale Galanter.
The couple have been under a protective order since an alleged domestic violence outbreak last year while on vacation in Colorado. A judge lifted the order to allow Sheen to visit Mueller in a Los Angeles ICU. But with Mueller’s discharge, the order has gone back into effect, Galanter confirmed.
Mueller was admitted to the hospital with double pneumonia following oral surgery for impacted wisdom teeth. Galanter said she still has fluid in her lungs from the infection. Her concerned doctors were yesterday reported warning her to reduce stress in order to speed a slow recovery from the illness.
A court hearing into the matter in Aspen was set for February 8.
Hollywood television starlet Lindsay Price has split with actor Josh Radnor.
The couple dated for several months but met much earlier, in 2007, according to sources.
Radnor, 35, has appeared on How I Met Your Mother and Family Guy. Price, 32, has appeared on Beverly Hills, 90210, Lipstick Jungle and Eastwick.
She started her career singing the Toys R Us jingle in commercials and was once married to writer and producer Shawn Piller. They wed in a 2004 ceremony that took place at Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu, California.
Joe Jonas has reportedly split with Camilla Belle. Before the official announcement from the actress’ rep, fans based the breakup theory off of some pretty strong acts of sadness from the Jonas Brothers singer. At a show in Detroit, the singer actually broke out in tears during two of his performances. Many fans saw and heard Joe cry through his ‘Camp Rock’ hit ‘Gotta Find You’ and ‘Turn Right’. Additionally, during the song ‘Much Better’, Joe changed the lyrics from “Get a rep for breakin’ hearts, now I’m done with superstars” to “Get a rep for breakin hearts, now I’m done with movie stars.” At their Boston show a week earlier, while performing ‘Much Better’, Joe took off the necklace that Camilla gave to him.
It’s been a couple of weeks now but the Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo break up is still a hot topic. News are coming out that the reason the couple broke up was because the failed country singer had been putting the pressure on the Dallas Cowboys quarterback to tie the knot. Tony apparently had enough when Jess insisted on a Ken and Barbie themed birthday party. After bickering over arrangements for the party, Tony told Jess that he wanted a break. It sounds like an easy way out. No one likes being pressured after all. But then again, Jess could have been all sorts of crazy about that party.
Tony Romo took to the links to distract himself from his sudden split with Jessica Simpson.
He scored second to former major league baseball player Rick Rhoden at the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship in Tahoe.
Romo said: “The more stuff you’ve got in your mind, probably the less successful you’re going to be. So the only thing I think about is the task at hand. When you let your mind wander or think about other things, you’re setting yourself up for failure. So I just try to stay focused. I’ve done a pretty good job of that this week.”
Friends, however, claim the pro-footballer is “emotionally drained”.
The golf tournament capped off a six-day stay in Tahoe. Romo mixed in some gambling and partying with friends – and girls. “He went out to the lake with a few friends and some girls. They were all drinking and partying on a boat for a couple hours,” a source said.
Heavily pregnant actress Kelly Rutherford was in court just two weeks before she is due to give birth for the latest round of her ugly divorce and custody battle with estranged husband Daniel Giersch.
The former couple were both in court in Santa Monica as a judge appointed an attorney to represent their two-year-old son Hermes in the case.
During the brief hearing Giersch’s attorney claimed a private investigator has been snooping on his property, but did not reveal any further details.
A judge turned down Kelly’s request to make a late change to the pair’s custody plan, despite claims she won’t get to spend any quality time with her son this week.
The Gossip Girl star still seemed in good spirits as she left court with her attorney.
Asked how she feels about being in court just days before she is due to give birth, she said: “Can you believe it? It’s amazing.”
She said of the “minor’s counsel” for Hermes: “My attorney knows more about that than I do.
“It’s new information to me.”
She said son Hermes is “good” and “excited” about the imminent birth of his baby sister.
And she revealed she has narrowed down the list of names for her baby.
She said: “I’m not really saying it, but we have a couple in mind.”
Asked about her pregnancy: “It’s good, so far so good. It’s about two weeks give or take.”

The hard partying girl made a spoof profile with online relationship service eHarmony.com via FunnyOrDie.com. The 22-year old described herself saying “Hi, My name is Lindsay and I’m searching for love. I’m recently single… I think. And I’m looking for someone who I can spend the rest of my life with, or at least someone I can spend the rest of my probation with. A source said the following about this most enigmatic relationship: “Chris and Rihanna are on opposite coasts right now. They are taking a break.” Don’t you just love these cat and mouse games? According to the new issue of In Touch Weekly, the Los Angeles District Attorney has yet to file charges against Chris Brown even though it has been said that Rihanna is cooperating with them. A spokesperson for the DA’s office confirmed the lack of charges saying “We do not have enough evidence and there have been no charges filed on the Chris Brown case.” It doesn’t mean that the singer will be getting off easy though as the spokesperson explained that “if the state gathers up enough evidence, we will press charges with or without her testifying. It is not up to the victim.” Rihanna doesn’t even have to be at the March 5th arraignment. The only time she might face Chris again is if the case goes to trial.
The actress has recently admitted that Alanis Morissette has been a big help in getting over her break-up with the Scottish actor Ross McCall… well, not Alanis Morissette herself, but her music. Jennifer Love Hewitt had this to say about the tragic event: ”One day at a time, and lots of chocolate! Alanis Morissett is helping too. Everybody has to get through it in their own way. Was it a Valentine Day split-up for Heroes costar and sweethearts Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia? Sources close to the couple said they called it quits last week but they have no idea whether this happened before, during or after Valentines Day. The two, who have remained friends after the break-up, have reportedly gone separate ways due to lifestyle conflict. The 19-year old Panettiere is apparently searching for excitement while her 30-year old boyfriend Ventimiglia prefers work especially now that he has his own production company. The 11-year age gap made their relationship controversial when they started dating in 2008 and while the couple did not mind the age difference at first, it seems to have caught up with them.
Panettiere however said she keeps herself grounded by skipping clubbing. She said people are expecting her to screw up and get involved in drugs or alcohol but they have to wait a long while because for now she is content with a glass of champagne when she is celebrating but is really more of a regular pizza and movie girl. The actress earlier said she wants a level-headed and secure man. So where did the break up come from?
The actress was quick to deny the rumors of her and Samantha Ronson’s break-up. She had this to say about the news circulating around the web: “We didn’t break up. No. People need to stop creating drama, it’s gross.” Also, she added on her blog: “Little piece of TRUE information – we did not break up. Get your stories straight please. The 30-year-old Goodwin and the 29-year-old Klein first began dating back in 2006, not long after Klein split from his fiancée, Katie Holmes.
As of the moment, neither parties are commenting on the break-up as the actress returns for a third season of Big Love in January, and the Chris Klein is set to appear in Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li.
Madonna finally got what she wanted without a dent on her wealth in terms of alimony costs after she and husband Guy Ritchie obtained a quickie divorce last Friday which officially ended their eight-year marriage. Madonna and Guy Ritchie, who were married in December 2000, had an uncontested divorce in a London High Court. The only foreseen hitch in the proceeding was the question of child custody but that was settled between them.
Reports show that Madonna wanted the three children to stay with her. Madonna has a 12-year old daughter sired by fitness trainer Carlos Leon, a three-year old adopted son and the couple’s eight-year old son. Ritchie said the case has already dragged on for a long time but claimed it had nothing to do with him nor his alleged demand for money since money has never been an issue. Ritchie’s fortune is estimated at $60 million but he could have had up to 50% of the $600 million estimated wealth of Madonna under the divorce laws of Britain.
Singer Fergie from Black Eyed Peas recently had a chance to indulge in all her culinary fantasies for her part in the movie “Nine”. She actually managed to put on an extra 13 lbs for the part, but she stated that she is desperate to lose the weight before she marries her fiancé, Josh Duhamel: “”I have to give the bad food up now! So, yeah – I’m in that phase! Back to diet designs – my food delivery service!” So it’s back to food torture for Fergie… one must wonder if she thinks she will lose any of her inherent charm because of the extra weight.
