Sophie Ellis-Bextor is desperate for more children. The ‘Murder on the Dancefloor’ singer – who already has a four-year-old son Sonny with husband Richard Jones – would love to extend her family but is too busy concentrating on her career.

She said: “I’d love to have more children but I’m just really tied up with work at the moment so now’s not really a good time. My album’s out in September so maybe after that. I love spending time with Sonny and luckily I can fit a lot of my work round him. He’ll start school either this September or next so I’ll have a bit more free time then.”

Sophie was speaking after she had performed a set at the launch of new summer drink Martini Rosato, at London’s exclusive Kensington Roof Gardens. The bash was hosted by Australian beauty Natalie Imbruglia, who seemed to enjoy Sophie’s performance and at one point playfully pushed a fellow partygoer onto the dance floor, on which the young girl happily showed off her best moves.

Although Natalie – who looked stunning in a knee-length cream dress – refrained from joining the reveler on the dance floor she couldn’t help but bop along to Sophie’s songs while watching at the front of the crowd.

Jack Black’s wife has given birth to the couple’s second son. According to reports, musician Tanya Hayden gave birth to Jack Jnr. just over a week ago.

The ‘School of Rock’ actor confirmed the news to reporters at the premiere of his new movie, ‘Kung Fu Panda’ on Saturday.

Describing the baby as ‘fresh out of the oven,’ Jack said: “I have a new one. It’s eating every three hours.” The busy star admitted it can be difficult to find time to spend with his family, saying: “You just got to make all the time precious with the babies when you’re working. You get an hour in the morning, and an hour at night, and you really make the most of that time.”

Jack and Tanya already have a 23-month-old son, Samuel. They have been married for two years.

The actor was responsible for forcing Angelina Jolie to confirm she is expecting twins after letting the news slip during a recent joint interview to promote ‘Kung Fu Panda’.

Troubled Britney Spears’ family are to force her to quit LA and return to Louisiana.

Her dad Jamie Spears, who was recently granted control of her affairs, plans to take her back to the family home away from “bad influences”. He will file a court request to get Britney, 26, away from the clubs, drugs, and cheating ex-lover Adnan Ghalib.

A Spears family source said: “Britney has been feeling lonely and isolated since her dad has taken control of her life. He hopes to take her back to Louisiana where she will be surrounded by her family. Jamie also hopes it will give her the chance to mend her troubled relationship with her mum and her more recent rift with her pregnant sister. And he hopes to keep her away from the negative LA scene and people who’ve been using her.”

In recent weeks the star has made a good recovery. She has remained off drugs and has been working on her next music video. But her affairs will still be run by her dad and she is unable to see former manager Sam Lufti who has been issued with a restraining order.

Britney still faces a driving without a licence charge in LA after being nabbed last August.

Finally – someone who might actually be looking out for Britney’s best interests has control. Her father was given conservatorship over her.

The first thing he did? He took a restraining order out on Sam Lufti to keep him far away from the ailing pop star. Apparently her family thinks he’s a threat to her health and wellbeing.

This court appointment does not mean they can force Brit to start medication. Her father can discuss options with doctors but Britney will have the power to refuse. Her father has control over her finances for the time being as well.

Maybe this is a step in the right direction for Britney.

After having Britney hospitalized again last night, Lynnr Spears has decided that Hollywood is not the place for her daughter to get better. She wants to take her home to Louisiana.

Britney’s lawyer Michael Flanagan says, “Lynne is extremely concerned for her daughter and would like to take Britney back home to Louisiana and get her out of Hollywood. Brit has an amazing support system in Louisiana.” He added that Lynne feels her daughter cannot get better if she is not removed from the circle of friends she currently has.

Congratulations to Nicole Richie and Joel Madden! They are now the proud parents of a bouncing baby girl who they chose to call Harlow Winter Kate Madden. Little Harlow was born on Friday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and weighed in at 6 lbs., 7 oz. She’s pretty much music royalty for being the granddaughter of Lionel Richie and the daughter of the Good Charlotte front man.

The couple’s reps at Handprint Entertainment told People that “The beautiful healthy baby girl is home with her ecstatic parents.” I can’t wait to see that family picture. I wonder who the little one looks like.

Lily Allen is on the cover of the latest issue of Marie Claire. The 22-year old singer was actually pregnant during the time of the November photo shoot but she was still unaware at the time so it’s pretty ironic that she got asked about having kids.

In the Marie Claire interview, she said “I want to have a child. If I was in the right relationship, I’d like to have child in about two or three years’ time. I’d like to be a young mother, although not too young, and I’d like to be able to live in a nice place that’s got a good catchment area for the schools. And that’s all I care about. That’s all you need.”

The surgeon who operated on Kanye West’s mother Donda was due to be suspended by the American Board of Plastic Surgery because of his multiple convictions for driving under the influence.It seems so ironic that so many stars loose loved ones tragically after they attain great success and wealth. It is almost scary to achieve fame for fear someone you love dies. Examples: Bill Cosby, Mary Wilson, Smokey Robinson, Ron Glass, Eric Clapton, Dean Martin, Mary Tyler Moore, Carrol O’Connor, Marlon Brando and many others. I feel very very sad for Kanye West… as my son and I are close. My son is a rapper who worked/works very hard that did not make it big and maybe he is the lucky one after all. God bless Kanye and his mother. On the fact that the surgeon was going to be removed doesn’t make sense now, only that if can be removed with immediate effect then if might help in saving some lives of patients who would be thinking of going under the knife with him at the helm of affairs.

Christina Aguilera has finally confirmed reports she is expecting a baby with husband Jordan Bratman. The singer has previously refused to comment on the status of her bulging belly, despite her father Fausto Aguilera and her pal Paris Hilton letting slip about the 26-year-old’s happy news earlier this year. There were reports earlier this week that Britney Spears’ mother Lynne Spears was writing a “tell-all book” that would chronicle her daughters rise and fall from the limelight, well it turns out that rumor was only half true. It has just been confirmed that Lynne is writing a book on parenting for Christian publisher Thomas Nelson. Okay…I am going to defend Lynn Spears here. I would like to be speaking as a mom of grown children. First of all…Lynn is NO Dina Lohan! Second, Lynn didn’t raise Britney to do the things she is doing. Britney wanted a career; Lynn helped her to get that. Britney, as an adult, made the choices to screw up her life, not Lynn. No matter what Lynn said or did, as an adult, Britney would not have listened to her…and she hasn’t. Since no one has seen the manuscript Lynn is doing, it’s not fair to judge it yet. She could be bringing up all the perils and pitfalls of giving in too much to your children’s wants and desires over their actual needs.

Britney Spears had a hearing about having her two sons visit overnight. However, when it came time for the hearing, the fallen pop star came in an astounding five hours late! And yet, a Los Angeles judge found reason to throw her a bone on Thursday when Britney was granted one night a week when she can have Sean Preston and Jayden James sleep over at her house. That is, with a court-appointed monitor of course.

Now that she and her mom Lynne are doing good, Brit reportedly wants her mom to be the monitor. What?!

This was one of the most worst kept secrets in Hollywood– Joe Simpson has finally confirmed that his daughter Ashlee Simpson had a nose job. Oh BIG surprise, she had a nosejob, she looks like a different person for crying out loud. I love how they always blame nosejobs on breathing problems — just admit it, you had a big huge massive beak and wanted smaller!! And the lpyc synch crap - how about you only sound good digitally reasserted!! I think these nose jobs and other facial restructuring are pretty much evident one the changes have been made. Just look at Demi Moore, she must had so many of other things done to her that today her face looks a complete mess. A person looks like something for some 8-10 years and suddenly they come out of a month long hibernation and you are zapped at the fresh and different look all thanks to the surgeon.

I really didn’t think this reunion would happen but apparently I was wrong. I think Michael Lohan wants to be all aboard the money train, thus he wants to make up with Lindsay and possibly Dina. “The moment Lindsay saw Michael, she started running and jumped into her father’s arms,” says an eyewitness to the reunion. “Her father hugged her and swung her around. Lindsay was so happy.
