Ashlee Simpson-Wentz was set to premiere a new collection of tops designed by her to be sold exclusively at Wet Seal. The launch date was April 22 and after just a bit over a month later, her so-called designs are doing so poorly that they’re practically giving it away for free. The line started out with a dozen different shirts originally marked at $19.50. Now, they’re being sold on Wet Seal’s website for just $4.99. Poor Ashlee, her shirts cost less than a latte. Much like her music and acting career, her clothing line may not have gone so well but at least she still has her new husband and baby on the way to fall back on. Let’s just hope that she doesn’t decide to make baby clothes now.

Troubled Britney Spears’ family are to force her to quit LA and return to Louisiana.

Her dad Jamie Spears, who was recently granted control of her affairs, plans to take her back to the family home away from “bad influences”. He will file a court request to get Britney, 26, away from the clubs, drugs, and cheating ex-lover Adnan Ghalib.

A Spears family source said: “Britney has been feeling lonely and isolated since her dad has taken control of her life. He hopes to take her back to Louisiana where she will be surrounded by her family. Jamie also hopes it will give her the chance to mend her troubled relationship with her mum and her more recent rift with her pregnant sister. And he hopes to keep her away from the negative LA scene and people who’ve been using her.”

In recent weeks the star has made a good recovery. She has remained off drugs and has been working on her next music video. But her affairs will still be run by her dad and she is unable to see former manager Sam Lufti who has been issued with a restraining order.

Britney still faces a driving without a licence charge in LA after being nabbed last August.

Nope, no arrest for drugging poor Britney Spears yet. However, Sam did get served.

He was finally given the restraining order that prevents him from coming within 250 yards of the trouble star. He hid for over 200 hours before cops finally found him.

A hearing is set for Friday at 1:30 pm to see if the order will stand.

Congratulations to Nicole Richie and Joel Madden! They are now the proud parents of a bouncing baby girl who they chose to call Harlow Winter Kate Madden. Little Harlow was born on Friday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and weighed in at 6 lbs., 7 oz. She’s pretty much music royalty for being the granddaughter of Lionel Richie and the daughter of the Good Charlotte front man.

The couple’s reps at Handprint Entertainment told People that “The beautiful healthy baby girl is home with her ecstatic parents.” I can’t wait to see that family picture. I wonder who the little one looks like.

Amy Winehouse’s trademark beehive hairstyle has had the chop – things are looking brighter for Amy as she reveals her remaining locks dyed peroxide blonde.

The Rehab singer unveiled her new look as she talked about her ‘drunk’ personality; admitting, “I’m a terrible drunk. Drinking long-term is a lot worse than doing heroin. Alcohol’s a real poison. I’m not a nice drunk. If I go to the gym and I have a drink, I’m lovely to be around. But if I haven’t been training or if there’s something bothering me, I’m a terrible drunk.”

Last night pals said Amy’s new do was the work of her hairdresser Alex Foden — who lives in her block of flats in Bow, East London. A friend said: “She just said she felt like it. She’d thought about having a blonde beehive but decided on the shorter look.”

Amy’s 1960s-style beehive has been central to her image since she shot to international fame last year. A spokesman for the star said: “She wanted a new look for the New Year.”

All you middle school tweenies out there, you can let out your collaborative sigh of relief. The talks are over and it’s a done deal – Zac Efron will return as Troy Bolton in High School Musical 3.

Apparently he’s a hot commodity these days – with the movies, CDs, and even his own doll. And Disney isn’t holding back – they are giving him $3 million plus a chance to approve the script for the movie. Talk about a sweet deal.

With him, he’s bringing back onscreen and real-life girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens. Rumors circulated that Disney wouldn’t want her included because of the circulation of her self-taken nude pics, but public support and her supposed regret changed their minds. Also signed up is Ashley Tisdale to reprise her role as Sharpay.

It will be the start of something new for the group – or will it? I just hate sequels – with the exception of Back to the Future and Final Destination, they just aren’t generally worth it.

But I do love me some Zac….mmm, mmm, mmm…

The 65th annual Golden Globe awards are right around the corner and the Hollywood Foreign Press announced that Rumer Willis has been chosen as Miss Golden Globe. La Chat, Rumer Willis is the daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis. So, she’s inherited her father’s chin. Who cares? At least she isn’t a druggie or an alcoholic or anorexic or bulimic or any other crap people bitch about on here. I think though she isn’t exactly a super celebrity or anything near to it, she is the right candidate because she has never been associated with drugs and other messed up instances like the other young celebrity children have. This stance certainly proves that if even you aren’t a maniac there are people who notice you because you have managed to keep clean and sober, which is a rarity these days. Lily Allen showed off her new sophisticated and enhanced self in The Mail on Sunday’s You magazine. And while we’re on the subject of being new, she’s also claiming that she’s matured and less combative when it comes to fellow starlets. Ironic that she also used the interview to slam the likes of Victoria Beckham.

Former Malcolm In The Middle star Frankie Muniz is fuming that Lindsay Lohan is returning from rehab a bigger star than before. The actor, 21, insists it’s not fair Lohan’s two month spell in Utah’s Cirque Lodge will land her more film roles. Where is the reasonability in all this madness? I do believe I am tired of hearing about all these trailer trash lushes. I can not believe that blond hair hoes, get more money for acting than a homeless shelter. Where is the love? I hear more about these bimbos than the good that is going on in the world. The nerve of them and those who like what havocs these hoes plague our streets with. I think she should put her self in a homeless shelter for 3 months with no money. It will show her that with all that money your life can change at the drop of a dime. She needs to learn what it is like to be with out so that she will appreciate what she does not deserve.

Whether you love her or hate her, you have to admit Mariah Carey lives La Dolce Vita. Isn’t she looking awesome and all you married men who hae their jaws open after seeing her in this magazine close your stinking mouths coz your wife’s are sitting just besides you and know your habits well that every time to see a beautiful chick that mouth opens up. I really love the cover this month. I love how sparkly it is. And I love the dress. Anyone can do much better than some dude from rehab…a friend of mine met her now husband in rehab and she “wonders” why he won’t stop doing drugs, she wonders this now! they are already troubled if they are in rehab get a clue! AND Lindsay looks drunk in this pic! But it’s a classic case where she found her match (though it might not be for long) at a place she is got like after so many visits to the rehab and finally she’s managed to find the guy after visiting 3 odd rehabs this year. It’s like she goes to one rehab and checks out all the guys there and then feels no there’s no one I like here, then she’ll go to anther rehab and say yes here I have a guy that could be with me for a while. The bonus is that the guy too lives in a rehab, so he has to be spoilt, a brat, a psycho and more and that’s what Lindsay is looking for some one who can strike a cord with her mental status.

While Britney Spears struggled at the Video Music Awards in Las Vegas, her ex-husband Kevin Federline threw a backyard pool party Sunday – for their two sons’ birthdays.

Personal assistants were seen picking up banners, balloons and an ice cream cake, all in the theme of the animated movie Cars, for Jayden James, who turns 1 on Wednesday, and Sean Preston, who turns two on Friday.

Spears’s parents, Jamie and Lynne, stopped by for the party at Federline’s San Fernando Valley home, joining about 20 guests. They had also visited their grandchildren the day before, while their daughter was hitting the club scene in Vegas before her widely panned VMAs performance.

Spears, 25, and Federline, 29, are embroiled in an increasingly fierce custody battle over their boys. They currently have 50-50 custody, but Federline is seeking more time, serving subpoenas on people in Spears’s inner-circle to show problems in her parenting skills.

Reese Witherspoon appeared to have had it all, the hot husband, the cute kids, and a booming career–so when she had a very public split from Ryan Phillipe last year she shut off the press. But I will tell you it’s the best thing to do when you are in trouble just shut the door on the media coz none of them care for you and what’s happening to you. Let time go, there is always a time when you can get candid and speak about the past things but in the heat of the moment all the good things about the relation with you’re hubby get forgotten and bad memories flare up. Reese had the abundance of talent in that marriage. Ryan always needed to prop himself up artificially with hubris. Yet she loved him and let him have the most power. Well, she’ll go on and he will keep propping. You know, he always seemed disconnected and uninterested when pictured with her.

Its mostly a case of mistaken identity and her I am not talking the people mistaking who is gay and who I straight, but rather it’s these hypocrite celebrities who cannot seem to make up their minds if they are gays or homosexual or what ever they wanna be. Obviously the worst dressed star on the carpet was Lil Mama. I don’t know if she was trying to look like Little Bo Peep or a space Martian but it was wrong all around. Beyonce looked like a gold statue of liberty, that dress was really unflattering for her curvaceous figure. Shanna Moakler looked like she stole her grandmother’s curtain and had a dress made. What’s with the pigeons? What has happened to the dressing sense of these girls, Beyonce is such a beautiful lady and her curvy body is the talk of many hot chat sessions but I think she just couldn’t find anything this time to match her looks, so much so for designer dresses and cosmetics. Again coming back to Lil Mama, Ugly yeah, haha. I hate criticizing but what the hell is that Lil Mama? Maybe it was a dare for a LOT of money? Instead of coming to the VMAs she should have gone to a fancy dress competition probably then she could have justified such a stupid dress.

Joss was spotted cuddling with the son of one of her backup singers at a sound check for her performance last Saturday night at the Maxim and Dockers party at Mandalay Bay.

Wow, she actually got booked to sing and not just look like her usual trashy self. And how did she convince her backup singer to hand over the baby? Didn’t she know that Joss may just give her son an STD? Scary.

I hope the kid went through a rigorous disinfection coz otherwise, he’s doomed.

Halle Berry and her model boyfriend Gabriel Aubry are expecting their first child, the Oscar winning actress who for quite sometime had been evading the question and at times denying the same has at last confirmed after months of speculation that she is indeed pregnant. The Oscar winning actress said “Yes, I am three months pregnant” she said through an email “Gabriel and I are beyond excited, and I’ve waited a long time for this moment in my life. Now the next few months will be the longest of my life! Well Halle its good that you decide to have one kid in your life so that you can at least get to know what a pain in the a** you would have been to your parents when you were a toddler. Now once you have your baby in your hands get prepared for the roller coaster ride of your life that even the best and biggest amusement parks in America wouldn’t be able to give you. 4 in the morning or better in the middle of the night that baby is going to make you sit up and tell him a story to put him back to sleep.

Soul star Amy Winehouse has had her St Lucia hotel room regularly searched for drugs, after fellow guests at the Caribbean resort complained of “strange smells” coming from their $1,000-a-night suite. I think she should have coke detectors on her all the time, coz this is the 4th 5th 6th I do not know exactly which count is this that she has been caught for drugs just in the past 2-3 weeks. Right now even if is not carrying drugs on her I think her body odor might have changed to smelling like coke and heroin and all the other stuff she’s got highly addicted to. The troubled singer - who is currently taking time out of her pop career to focus on “health issues” - has been holidaying in St. Lucia with husband Blake Fielder-Civil following her August 8 hospitalization after three days of hard-partying. Troubles what kind of troubles is she having, she is just carrying troubles with her and annoying others with her behavior, that’s the only thing she has been doing recently and yes fighting with her husband and hitting eachother and bleeding in the process.
