Taylor Swift may have a lot to celebrate about after receiving a ton of awards this year, including her first country songwriter of the year award at the BMI’s. However, the country singer took on a sadder note for her acceptance speech as she revealed that the accolades were overshadowed by the recent death of a close friend, Jeff Lang, who was found dead in his apartment last week. Taylor said “It’s been a really emotional week for me… He was 21, and I used to play my songs for him first. So I would like to thank Jeff Lang.” It was very thoughtful of her to dedicate the night to him.

Movie hunk Gerard Butler insisted he and Jennifer Aniston are “just friends”.

The actor was linked to the Friends star during the shoot of their film The Bounty Hunter and was recently pictured at her birthday celebrations in Mexico.

But Butler, who is in Brazil for the Carnival, told the local press there the stories are not true.

He reportedly told local gossip website Ego: “We are just friends. We are going to release a film together in March.”

The actor has been pictured having the time of his life in Rio De Janeiro and said he may well buy property there.

Jade Goody’s widower Jack Tweed is reportedly set to open a new restaurant serving “meat and fish”.

The 21-year-old, whose wife Jade died of cervical cancer in March, is said to be planning the new venture to get over the loss of his wife. The club promoter recently finished serving a prison sentence for assault.

It is claimed Jack and two pals cannot make up their minds about a name for the restaurant.

An insider said: “They could not decide on a title, although there has obviously been talk of whether to name it in Jade’s honour. But they’re unsure if that’s the best thing for Jade’s legacy.

“It’s going to be a top place when all the plans are finalised. It’s in a popular area and will cater for all tastes. Jack’s hoping it’ll be a great success.

Talking about the restaurant, he said: “I don’t know the name of it. People keep asking me. It’s things like meat and fish – normal food. A little bit of everything.”

Former boy band member JC Chasez has gone on the record to refute the rumors that he’s gay and that he and ‘Gossip Girl’ star Chace Crawford are dating. The musician told Kiss FM 104.7 that “For the record, we’re both straight. We’re not dating. Let’s clear that up real quickly and the thing is, we don’t even get to hang out that much. We are friends, absolutely, the guy is a super nice guy and he’s a friend of mine but you know the only time people would usually see us together is in some type of photograph so they just assume that it’s like that.” He also adds that the gay rumors are absolutely ridiculous.

After months of speculation, Pink and Carey Hart have finally split up and their story is as old as time. The reason for their split was because their careers just got in the way.

Sources close to Carey say that the bike rider is telling people that he and Pink still love each other and will still be best friends. The end of the marriage came as a result of their busy schedules. Pink has returned to the studio to work on her music while Carey is busy opening new nightclubs. Carey is working on opening a live music club in Las Vegas.

Who knew that ‘Gossip Girl’ star Chace Crawford and former NSYNC member JC Chasez were friends? The two were reportedly joined at the hip in Miami Beach this past weekend. On Sunday alone, the new buddies hit up at least three parties together.

First, they had dinner at a Stereo NYC hosted event at the Kobe Club. Then it was off to The Florida Room’s pre-New Year’s Eve party at the Delano. And then, at 3 in the morning, Chace and JC were seen still partying it up at Mokai. This is not helping those gay rumors circling JC. We all know that Chace is dating Carrie Underwood so we can cross that off his list.

Miley Cyrus, a.k.a. Hannah Montana, celebrated her 15th birthday in city wide style. The Disney channel star and teen pop sensation performed for a sold-out crowd of over 15,000 people on Friday night.

The adoring crowd screamed when she told them, “I’ll tell you guys that my main wish when my parents asked me, ‘Miley, what do you want for your 15th birthday?’ The only thing that I had to say was, ‘I want to be here at home with Nashville and all of you guys’”

Miley told fans that the reason she did what she did was for them. She thanked them for allowing her to live her dream and told them, “to be here with you guys tonight on my birthday is amazing.”

Fans responded by singing an impromptu refrain of “Happy Birthday” towards the end of the concert which include fireworks and even an onstage birthday cake. The concert ended with a burst of confetti throughout the stadium and Miley bowed alongside the Jonas Brothers, who opened for her.

After her finale, fans stayed firmly in their seats and were rewarded with an encore presentation. Miley returned to the stage and said, “I’d like to bring out my best friend – that just about says it all – my daddy.” She was then joined by her father, country star Billy Ray Cyrus, who carried an acoustic guitar. Together they performed their popular duet, “Ready, Set, Don’t Go,” and introduced sister Brandi Glenn Cyrus on backup guitar.

At the end of the song, Billy Ray hugged Miley and said, “Happy birthday, little girl.”

Pop wreck Britney Spears spent most of her weekend hanging out with her little sister Jamie Lynn. On Sunday the sisters attempted to head out for Sushi at Britney’s favorite sushi restaurant on Beverly Glen but she was nearly attacked by a crazed woman. What do you mean she had no right to scream at her?? Hell yeah she did! Do you have ANY idea of the bullshit the locals have to deal with because of britney’s alliance w/ the paps? She does need to stay home – or even better, GET THE FUCK OUT! She is disruptive, and causes a scene wherever she goes. If you’ve seen the video footage of this, then you can hear children screaming in the background. This whole “treat me like I’m normal” shit has got to stop. it’s like she’s stepped in shit, and is walking all over LA in the same shoes. no one wants to smell your shit anymore brit. It STINKS. Just like everyone else in her clan, Alli Sims has finally had enough of Britney. It seems that Brit’s only remaining ally has realized that she can’t do anything to save Britney and just chose to save herself instead of sinking with her.

Moore was touring with Timberlake’s former band ‘N Sync in 1999, when the pop hunk pointed out how huge her feet are. There are some guys out there who like big feet. They have a fetish. Ha Ha Eight years thats a long time to hang on to such a trite memory can’t be much else going on in that big brain of hers. I think the inspiration for her nonsense songs to come from her big feet and those beats are the brain child of the big feat tapping chorus that she implies during recording. No wonder she has not been so successful, only if she can forget her big feet issue and concentrate on better thing could she reach newer and better heights in her career rather than worrying about what good looking men have to say about her feet.
