Not everyone liked the Queen’s yellow outfit for the Royal Wedding. The women on US TV show The View mocked the Queen and the dresses of princesses Eugenie and Beatrice on Friday. One host, Joy Behar, 68, said the Queen of England looked like: “A bubble bee with a drinking problem,” live on air. “Holy Moly, who wears yellow?” continued Joy. “I’ve never seen a Queen wearing yellow, she looks like a taxi cab, keep that meter running Queenie,” she added. When talking of the outlandish Philip Treacy hats of Eugenie and Beatrice, host Sherri Shepherd said: “Oh my god, that is Lady Gaga. Straight.” “They look like they are auditioning for Let’s Make a Deal, you know that show?” said Joy, referring to an old NBC game show where audience members used to dress in hilarious costumes, often like clowns. “They look like horns,” said Sherri, 44. “Like a deer in the headlights,” said Goldie Hawn, 65, who was guest-hosting the programme.

Actress Kristen Bell has revealed she french-kissed a giraffe while recently in Africa. The 30-year-old star recently took a trip to Kenya and, while there, she indulged in the unusual activity. Bell recently appeared on US chat show the Tonight Show with Jay Leno where she revealed the interesting tale. She said: “I went to Africa, recently, a couple of weeks ago actually, on an initiative for Charity Water, which is an awesome initiative. “I stayed a day in Nairobi, Kenya, when I was there and they have this thing there called Giraffe Manor. Where the giraffes literally come up to the porch and interact with you. “And they don’t have front teeth so you don’t have to be scared of them. They’re not like a horse that could bite you. You can literally pay $10 and feed them these pellets. It’s so cool. “And if you are as weird as I am, you will be the one person putting the pellets in your mouth and letting the giraffes take them out of your mouth. “I was on cloud nine when I was doing this, it’s what I did for 45 minutes straight – french kissing this giraffe.”

Jennifer Garner has admitted that she is “very familiar” with Russell Brand’s private parts. The pair star in the remake of Arthur, and the actress said she was required to get up close and personal with Brand’s anatomy for one of the scenes. She told David Letterman: “He was in his underwear, and they were very handsomely made. It was Russell and me, right behind him, on all fours. “We did it over and over again, so I spent two days just right up against it. So I’m very familiar, in my own way, with the anatomy of Russell Brand – and it’s good.”

Ashley Greene has revealed that she always thought her friends were prettier than her when she was growing up. The 24-year-old Twilight actress, who recently split from Joe Jonas, said that as a little girl she preferred to dress like a tomboy. She told InStyle, “I was always trying to be like my older brother. “[Then] I got really self-conscious because I had older friends. I thought they were prettier, and they were going through all these life experiences before I was.” She added that even now she isn’t one to spend hours in the bathroom. “I love having my hair and make-up done, but I’m really just a 15-minute girl, throwing everything on with no fuss,” she said.

Charlie Sheen and his ‘goddesses’ all sleep together in the same bed taking turns sleeping in the middle, it was revealed today. Sheen’s two new girlfriends say they ‘do whatever Charlie wants us to do’ when they go to bed together in his Beverly Hills mansion. “We do whatever Charlie wants us to do. This is the type of lifestyle I have always wanted, and I am just thrilled with it,” Rachel Oberlin told the New York Post. Natalie Kenly added: “Our bed is big enough for all three of us, and we take turns sleeping in the middle. “If someone’s really tired, there’s always a place for them to sleep in peace.” When Sheen, 45, was asked about the trio’s sex-life he told the newspaper: “Dude, is anything sacred? No comment.” The girls told the Post they use the American football term ‘the wedge’ to describe their relationship, and revealed that they would let Sheen go outside the group if he desired it. “All three of us are in a relationship, and if Charlie ever wants to go outside ‘the wedge’ and act out on his sexual desires, that’s fine with Natty and me. We’re laid-back people,” said 22-year-old ex-porn star Oberlin.

The single 41-year-old made the comment while talking about her role in the new comedy film, Just Go With It. She later added: “It’s great to be out there and create some joy and bring some levity to people’s heavy days.” Talking of the recent premiere of the movie with Adam Sandler Jen said: “We laughed as hard watching the premiere as we did when we were making it.” When the presenter of Good Morning America, Robin Roberts, asked if she really hated the ‘Rachel haircut’ she said: “It was more the pressure that it brought than the cut itself. I think it does look good in some pictures. “I guess in 100 years I might be able to look back and think it was cool that they named a haircut after my character.”

British actress Carey Mulligan has admitted she hardly ever gets recognised by fans when she goes out. The 25-year-old star feels lucky because despite her fame she can still enjoy a quiet day out. She told British Look magazine: “My life hasn’t really changed. I don’t have to alter anything about my life, really. “I was sitting in a gondola at Telluride Film Festival with six people who had just watched Never Let Me Go. They were having a conversation about it and criticising it and I was just sitting there and they had no idea.” Mulligan thinks her choice of film roles has helped her remain under the radar. The Hollywood star added: “I think that fame comes with big films where people are playing characters, like comic book movies, and an audience has ownership over that person. “For the films I have been in so far, the fan base is different.”

Kristen Stewart is far from grumpy according to her On The Road co-star Sam Riley. The British actor hit out at press reports that the actress is sullen, telling The Guardian, “She’s just 20! The tabloids can f**k off! “She wasn’t grumpy at all. She was a bit of a Rapunzel character in her hotel suite, not wanting to come to the bar to spend all evening having her photo taken.” The movie, which also stars Kirtsten Dunst, is set to be released later this year.

Actress Kristen Stewart revealed she was ‘straight up’ offered a job at a strip club when she filmed Welcome to the Rileys in New Orleans. Stewart, who plays a runaway teen who becomes a stripper in the new movie, found out how easy it was to flaunt her sexuality like her character, Mallory, when she starred in the flick. The Twilight star told MTV News: “Well, I mean, doing this movie… one shocking thing was to find how easy it is [to flaunt your sexuality]. “I went to a strip club with the director and the costume designer and it being an odd grouping of people going into a strip club in the middle of the afternoon, I was, like, straight-up offered a job.” And it wasn’t just when the 20-year-old went to strip clubs she got hit on, it was also when she walked around the city. She added: “And then walking around New Orleans wearing the kind of stuff I was wearing literally [it] could be like boom, boom, done. “But I would never do that.”

Actress Emma Stone struggled with the stress from landing the lead role in her new film Easy A so much that she turned into a ‘lunatic’. The 21-year-old may have been over the moon to get the role in the romantic comedy about a student who pretends to lose her virginity. But it seems the part proved to be quite a strain on her face. Emma told Empire magazine: “I put a large amount of pressure on myself while we were shooting it. “I was a lunatic, I broke out all over my face and turned into this crazy person but I am so insanely grateful that this happened.”

The 45-year-old film star cracked the golfer gag on stage at the People’s Choice Awards, after being Best Movie Actress.

Announcing the nominees, presenter George Lopez joked: “I have the honour of naming the five white women in America that Tiger Woods has not slept with.”

But when Bullock stepped up to collect her award, she said she needed to correct him.

“It’s only four women up here who have not slept with Tiger Woods,” she said, pulling an awkward face in front of the audience. “Just kidding. I’m so just kidding,” she added.

Bullock, whose movie The Proposal was named Best Comedy Film, also made actress Nicole Kidman blush by commenting on their similar hairstyles.

“I’d just like to say Nicole and I deliberately did our hair the same today,” she laughed, as cameras cast to the Aussie film star who covered her face in the seats below.

But Bullock’s jokes quickly turned to tears when she paid an emotional tribute to her family during the acceptance speech.

“Life is hard sometimes, but we get through with laughter,” she said, choking back tears.

“To my Dad – I hope you’re feeling better. And my husband, who is my boyfriend, who makes me feel like this every single day. He allows me to leave the house and he keeps things settled until I get back so I get to do what I get to do.”

Scarlett Johansson and Liev Schreiber have joked they have a lot in common – including the fact they are both ‘really, really hairy’.

The actors – who will appear on Broadway in A View From The Bridge beginning in January 2010 – posed together in their Christmas best.

“We’re both really, really hairy,” Schreiber, 42, said.

“That’s true,” agreed Johansson, 25. They’re also both half-Jewish, they said.

Schreiber plays Eddie Carbone in the play, a Brooklyn longshoreman obsessed with his 17-year-old niece Catherine, played by Johansson.

Johansson also admitted she would rather stay at home for New Year’s Eve.

She said: “Going from one party to the next and surfing to find the right thing, and being in a taxi cab when the clock strikes – I’m so over that stuff. At the ripe old age of 25.

“I have the most fun when I’m surrounded by people I love in one place that’s comfortable and we can hear each other. You can play card games, watch movies. I’m happy.”

Joking, she added: “So, you can find me at da club with a bottle full of bub is what I’m trying to say.”

Actress Jennifer Garner revealed her latest role – a real-life toilet cleaner at her daughter’s school.

The star also showed she is a true sports fan by naming the starting line-up of husband Ben Affleck’s beloved Boston Red Sox baseball team.

Appearing on Jay Leno’s new show on US television, Garner looked sensational in heels and a stylish one-shouldered blue dress.

But she revealed that while Affleck shoots his latest film in his hometown of Boston, she has been handed a very unglamorous role.

The family, who moved to the city for the shoot, have enrolled three-year-old daughter Violet in a co-operative school – and Garner has learned it means a lot of work for her.

“It means it (the school) is run by the parents – which means a lot of toilet scrubbing, a lot of making the snacks,” she said.

“It’s a lot of painting and pulling out staples but it’s fun, you chat to all the other mums.”

But she said next time she will shoot a film and it will be Affleck looking after Violet – and doing the hard work.

“We take turns. Right now he is directing, but just wait until I’m directing again” she said.

“I’m going to make sure we are at the co-op of all co-ops and he is going to go to every meeting and make macaroni and cheese… and I’m going to say, ‘have fun, honey!’”
