Venus Williams showed off her toned physique while playing an interactive video game on US television. The 30-year-old tennis champ took on talk show presenter Sara Gilbert as they pretended to race on mountain bikes in front of a TV screen. Wearing a pink T-shirt and turquoise leggings, Williams struck a series of hilarious poses as she demonstrated the EA Sports Active 2 workout. The former Wimbledon winner, who also had sensors and a heart monitor strapped to her arms and legs, was named as a brand ambassador for EA Sports Active 2 last month. “It’s really about being able to work out in your own home, in your own time, with the family,” she said, during her appearance on The Talk. “It’s really about challenging yourself to be fit and staying active. “There’s all kinds of games. My favourite is the basketball. You can make the challenges as high or as low as you like.”

Kelly Osbourne’s Wii Fit regime

Wednesday, April 15th, 2009

The star recently admitted that her exercise routine is based solely upon the electronic miracle. Kelly Osbourne said: “I have a terrible diet. Last night, I was eating Domino’s pizza because I had nothing in my fridge and I couldn’t be assed to go to the grocery store. I don’t really work out either. I play on my Wii machine – I love the Wii Fit!” Based upon her very profound and revelatory words, I would assume that Kelly Osbourne is one of those people that uses the automatic stairs in order to climb up to the gym. I mean come on! She’d play Wii Fit in order to have exercise, but can’t bother herself to go to a nearby grocery store in order to get something seemingly healthy to eat? Now that’s logic for you!

Missy Elliott planning to adopt

Thursday, August 7th, 2008

Missy Elliott is planning to adopt children because she is so terrified of giving birth.

The ‘Get Ur Freak On’ singer – who is notoriously guarded about her private life – admits she wants to have a family but is scared about the pain involved in a natural birth.

She said: “I most definitely want kids, but I’ll probably adopt. I don’t know if I can take the kind of pain women go through with childbirth. Maybe in the year 2020 you could just pop a baby out and it’d be fine. But right now I’d rather just adopt.”

Missy, 37, also revealed she keeps in shape by playing on the computer game ‘Dance Dance Revolution’ in amusement arcades.

She added: “I do ‘Dance Dance Revolution’. I’m not as good as the little kids that come in the arcade. Their little feet go crazy fast. I’m not that fast, but I’m good on it!”
