Former boy band member JC Chasez has gone on the record to refute the rumors that he’s gay and that he and ‘Gossip Girl’ star Chace Crawford are dating. The musician told Kiss FM 104.7 that “For the record, we’re both straight. We’re not dating. Let’s clear that up real quickly and the thing is, we don’t even get to hang out that much. We are friends, absolutely, the guy is a super nice guy and he’s a friend of mine but you know the only time people would usually see us together is in some type of photograph so they just assume that it’s like that.” He also adds that the gay rumors are absolutely ridiculous.

It seems that a lot of Hollywood starlets are trying their hands on music. Or should I say vocal chords? There’s Hayden Panettiere, Scarlett Johansson, Emmy Rossum and now, there’s Leighton Meester. The ‘Gossip Girl’ star recently talked about her upcoming album and described what, or I should say who, she sounds like. “Some of them I just talk, I do a little–not rapping–but talking, sort of spoken word. It’s a little Fergie, a little like Gwen Stefani and M.I.A.” I wonder what those music industry stars will think of Leighton’s musical style. She better put up or they might take it as an insult.

Former NSYNC member JC Chasez and ‘Gossip Girl’ star Chace Crawford seem to have formed a formidable bond. The new BFFs were spotted party hopping yet again when they celebrated the New Year at the Raleigh Hotel on South Beach, Miami.

The pretty boy duo has been partying together for four straight days in a row now. On Saturday, JC and Chace hit up The Florida Room’s Pre New Years Party and Stereo NYC dinner party at Kobe Club in Miami. On Sunday, the pair attended the Marquee NYC & Kritik Clothing Party at Mokai. And on Monday, the new buddies who are seemingly attached at the hip rang in the New Year together.

Who knew that ‘Gossip Girl’ star Chace Crawford and former NSYNC member JC Chasez were friends? The two were reportedly joined at the hip in Miami Beach this past weekend. On Sunday alone, the new buddies hit up at least three parties together.

First, they had dinner at a Stereo NYC hosted event at the Kobe Club. Then it was off to The Florida Room’s pre-New Year’s Eve party at the Delano. And then, at 3 in the morning, Chace and JC were seen still partying it up at Mokai. This is not helping those gay rumors circling JC. We all know that Chace is dating Carrie Underwood so we can cross that off his list.
