I wanted to shake some sense into Hayden Panettiere when I found out she said she doesn’t have a model’s figure. But when I heard her determination to “rock her body” and is happy with what she’s got, I smiled again.

The Heroes babe accepts she’ll never be as thin as a supermodel, but instead of counting calories and obsessing over her genes, she’s learned to embrace her curves.

Hayden said: “I don’t have a model’s body. But I’m not one of those crazy girls who thinks that they’re fat. I’m okay with what I have. I can rock this body, y’know.”

The 18-year-old actress, who is rumoured to be dating Heroes co-star Milo Ventimiglia, also revealed she only dates men who aren’t “threatened” by her career.

“I need somebody who is very secure. In this business, I’m constantly standing next to gorgeous people. My job is to make out with attractive men. Like, hello, who wouldn’t be completely threatened by that? But, at the end of the day, you have to realise that it’s a job.”

The young star also insists she is too grounded to ever go off the rails like Britney Spears. Hayden said, “I think people look at me as just another one of those girls who’s going to screw up, like, ‘She’s going to get into drugs and she’s going to get into parties.’ I have an occasional glass of champagne when I’m celebrating something, but generally I don’t drink. I’m a pizza-and-a-movie girl.”

Perhaps more girls should take a leaf out of her book.

It seems that a lot of Hollywood starlets are trying their hands on music. Or should I say vocal chords? There’s Hayden Panettiere, Scarlett Johansson, Emmy Rossum and now, there’s Leighton Meester. The ‘Gossip Girl’ star recently talked about her upcoming album and described what, or I should say who, she sounds like. “Some of them I just talk, I do a little–not rapping–but talking, sort of spoken word. It’s a little Fergie, a little like Gwen Stefani and M.I.A.” I wonder what those music industry stars will think of Leighton’s musical style. She better put up or they might take it as an insult.

I’m almost pissed. After denying that they were a couple forever, friends of Hayden and Milo are finally saying yes, we are together. Why lie in the first place?

Apparently friends of the couple say that Milo sent Christmas hanging with Hayden’s entire family. The source says, “Hayden’s mom adores Milo. She thinks he’s so cute. She tells her friends that he’s her boyfriend.”

Friends say that the two are very affectionate with each other when they spend time together. However, reps for the two won’t comment on their personal life. Maybe they don’t want to admit it because they don’t wanna be confused with Tom and Katie. After all, there is a 12 year age gap between Hayden and Milo; he’s 30 while she’s only 18.

Yikes! Oh well, it’s still cute.

The darling star of ‘Heroes’ Hayden Panettiere is rumoured to be playing the legendary musician, former front woman for the Plasmatics who committed suicide in 1998, Wendy O. Williams. Can it be true? Who the heck did the casting for this? They might as well have cast Jessica Simpson for it.

Let’s thank the heavens for rumors though. Hayden’s publicist, Michelle Bega released a statement saying that the reports of Hayden portraying the musician in a biopic were “inaccurate and nothing more than rumor”.

Whew! That was close. I just can’t imagine the tiny star taking on a really big role like that.
